    Hi, a setting on my computer was recently changed (from my adolescence, I guess!) and the Windows I have open is more perfectly on my screen and I have to manually change the size of each of them.  Even at the login screen where it shows the user accounts, they are more in the middle of the screen but to the right.  Can you please tell me how to get back so that everything is perfectly centered on my screen.  Thank you

  • Photoshop elements 11 toolbar does not fit on my screen

    I try to use Photoshop elements 11 on my laptop, but the toolbar is too big to fit on the screen, and some of the icons are not available.  Is it possible to reduce the size or shape of the toolbar, or to display the icons, I'm not using the keyboard so I can still access them.  My computer is already on the highest resolution of the screen.  Thanks for your help.

    Supported by PSE11 minimum resolution is 1024 * 768. So, if you are above your toolbar must fit into the screen of this resolution.     I click the menu drop-down list Customize on the right side.  I click on create new set of tools or manage the toolsets.  Neither windows fits my screen, and I can't change the size of the window to be small enough to fit.

    I think that I have a laptop 15.6 "screen.

    I'm terribly sorry for the inconvenience, but I'll definitely be able to help with this issue.
    The problem is simply that you do not have the 'screen Resolution' applied 'optimal '.

    To resolve this problem simply right-click anywhere on the desktop and select 'Screen Resolution' at the bottom of the drop-down list

    Now simply adjust the resolution up and down, and you will have your laptop to normal in no time at all! (The higher the number Ex: 1366 x 768 higher the resolution of the screen)

    No matter what shortcut you use to launch the window, right-click and select Properties. Under the 'Run' drop-down list, choose "expanded".

    If the window opens small, try the following:

    Take the corners of the window and drag it to the format full screen. Do not use to expand. Close all other windows first and this one last. Windows will remember the * last * screen size used the next time that you open the program.

    (2) if it works well before?

    (3) remember you to make changes to the computer?

    (4) what is the number of brand and model of your printer?

    (5) have you been able to print the page of test as expected?

    Firefox window is sometimes "off screen" somehow. Often, you can force it to appear on the screen by right clicking on the thumbnail image just above the taskbar and choose expand. Does it work?

    A possible cause for this is that the file that stores the positions and sizes of window is corrupt. You can delete this file and Firefox will return to standard window resizing.

    #1 method: If you can get a zoomed window:

    Open the settings folder (AKA Firefox profile) current Firefox help

    • button "3-bar" menu > "?" button > troubleshooting information
    • (menu bar) Help > troubleshooting information
    • type or paste everything: in the address bar and press Enter

    In the first table of the page, click on the view file"" button. This should launch a new window that lists the various files and folders in Windows Explorer.

    Leave this window open, switch back to Firefox and output, either:

    • "3-bar" menu button > button "power".
    • (menu bar) File > Exit

    Pause while Firefox finishing its cleanup, then rename xulstore.json to something like xulstore.old. If you see a file named localstore.rdf, rename this to localstore.old.

    Launch Firefox back up again. Windows normally appear again?

    #2 method: If you can not get a Firefox window for all:

    Close Firefox by right clicking the icon in the taskbar > close all windows.

    I have a Mac Mini (purchased in early 2015) I want to fix it up to use at work. I need to reformat home using my iMac (mid 2011) as screen and then copy all files and applications from the iMac to the Mac Mini. Both have ports Thunderbolt. So I bought a Thunderbolt cable from a third party (!) and I'm baffled... the cable, both ends, is part of the Mac Mini but does not fit (either end, either the port, there are 2) in the iMac, no matter how hard I jiggle it. It is not the cable... but I'm confused as to how the TWO ports on my iMac could be wasted. Believe it or not, I have never tried to use before. PS., they are certainly the Thunderbolt ports, with the lightning bolt symbol bit.

    1A everyone has ever encountered this? All my other ports work fine.
