  Some Firefox problems can be solved by performing a clean reinstall. This means that you remove Firefox program files, and then reinstall Firefox. Please follow these steps:

  Note: You can print these steps or consult them in another browser.

  1. Download the latest version of Firefox from http://www.mozilla.org office and save the installer to your computer.
  2. Once the download is complete, close all Firefox Windows (click on quit in the file menu or Firefox).
  3. Remove the Firefox installation folder, which is located in one of these locations, by default:
     • Windows:
       • C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
       • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Mozilla Firefox
     • Mac: Delete Firefox in the Applications folder.
     • Linux: If you have installed Firefox with the distribution-based package manager, you must use the same way to uninstall: see Install Firefox on Linux. If you have downloaded and installed the binary package from the Firefox download page, simply remove the folder firefox in your home directory.
  4. Now, go ahead and reinstall Firefox:
     1. Double-click on the downloaded Setup file and go through the steps in the installation wizard.
     2. Once the wizard is completed, click to open Firefox directly after clicking the Finish button.

  Photoshop cs5 crashes on launch when loading the brushes.  I have to do a hard reboot and reset the preferences.  In the last 2 days I had to do it 3 times.  I have the latest drivers.  Here's my hardware.  I'm also under lightroom.  I don't have this problem after I installed the latest updates on the adobe Web site. Does anyone have information on a fix for this problem thank you very much for your time.

  Could you send me a copy of this file corrupt brushes?  I would like to know how he could cause the launch to hang.

• Photoshop CS5 crashing my Mac when resizing of large images

  I have not much to explain this further, but Photoshop CS5 crashes my Mac when I resize large images.  Small images are very good but big 300 dpi images it crashes without warning.  Don't know what to do.  The only other similar thing is that after Effects CS5 crashes my Mac when I cut a clip.  It completely disables my Mac when I cut a clip.

  I have 8gigs of Ram and am under iMac 27 "Core i5

  Yes, it's the RAM. Despite the Ram chips all being the same type and properly spec'd and be swapped round and reinstated by replacing them with a manufacturer different type solves the problem.

  If someone else decided to buy third-party Ram for their 27 "iMac - buy the Samsung because they seem to work without problem.

  Hello

  You are probably using the Quick - switch to Expert mode at the top. All the tools are only available in Expert mode.

  In which window you find "Tools"? To run under Vista Disk Defragmenter, I would choose to start, all programs, accessories, System Tools, Disk Defragmenter.

  I searched and searched through the entire interweb, but almost no one seems to have never had such a problem, so I think it is the right place to ask and hope to be helped . Short version is: Photoshop CS5 (x 64) is constantly crashing when you change a layer style.

  Recently, I installed my CS5 Design Premium on a new laptop (Fujitsu Lifebook AH351) and I have serious problems with Photoshop CS5. On the first run, everything was fine, and he keep like this for a while. Now every time I try to edit a layer style Photoshop crashes immediately. I did not need to change anything, just open the layer style, press OK and Photoshop has disappeared. I can work around by resetting the preferences that works until the next reboot, no matter if I change anything on the settings or not. Tried this on the initial version of the PS and the last update (12.0.4). Once I have reset settings yet, I can work again on the layer styles. Any of you have a similar problem or an allusion to what I could look at?

  The Lifebook has of a decent feature which I think somehow the culprit in this case: it has an on-board graphics unit and a separate GPU (nVidia GForce GT 525 M) that can be added in on a program basis. Indeed, Photoshop recognizes and allows me to enable the OpenGL functions as well, so from there, it seems. The internal GPU cannot be disabled because connect you your monitors.

  WindowBlinds was probably to blame.  It's a bad app that changes the window settings and made generally bad things for the environment of the user interface to achieve a different look.

  There may be more options for things you can do (bad) to Windows, such as the screws of the metric of the display with the software from StarDock, simply because Windows is more popular - but if you don't about frivolous things with your system it can be as clean and steady work as a Mac system , if not better.  Mac have many of their own problems.

• PhotoShop CS5 Extended freeze on launch

  I have PhotoShop CS5 as part of eLearning Suite 2.  Until very recently, PhotoShop CS5 worked very well.  Last week (I think it was on 16 March), I was invited by the Adobe Application Manager to run an update.  There were a number of updates for all Adobe products I use, so I don't have a lot of attention to what they were, but I'm leaving the PS was one of them.  Yesterday, it was the first time I tried to launch PS from this update.  When I tried to launch it, the PS splash screen appears, but the app crashes when it reaches 'resources reading... '. "(just below the version number on the splash screen appears).

  Maybe your preference file has been altered, somehow.

  You can reset your preferences file by pressing Ctrl-Alt-shift when you click the shortcut to Photoshop and now keep these keys pressed until it asks if you want to remove from your Photoshop settings file or not.
