My photoshop CS6 no longer opens!

I bought the plug-in adobe creative suite 6 in 2014.  On a mouth there, I was working in photoshop when every time I open the program a pop up would ask if I wanted to use the trial of 30.  This has happened each time until finally I could not access my program unless I said yes.  30 later, he stopped.  I tried to open my photoshop in my apps and I can't! Help!

Hello

You might have downloaded the trial version of the latest Photoshop cc and started using, which is now the problem cause activate the version of the license.

You can you please uninstall the existing version through use of the Adobe Creative Cloud cleaning tool to solve installation problems

and re - download Photoshop CS6 through applications to download Creative Suite 6

* You must also have the serial number to activate license CS6.

Let us know if this will help.

Kind regards

Sandrine

  • Photoshop cs6 does not open after the end of the subscription of cloud

I had a local version of the CS6. Signed with cloud from adobe as a free trial version using the same Adobe ID. I canceled the cloud. My CS6 apps no longer opens. I spent 4 hours online with adobe support to remove the clouds and get CS6 upward and running. Then for some reason, they re-enabled cloud! Without my asking for it! I just let it go for the month, up to what it has expired. Now my CS6 open even more. Can't reach Adobe right now, but am dead in the water. Need to work! How can I get my Photoshop CS6 save? So frustrated!

  • Photoshop CS6 will not open the file image (.jpg, .dng and .cr2)

    Hello

I recently reinstalled my laptop (64-bit) Windows 7 Pro. It has all the necessary Windows updates.

I installed Photoshop CS6 (64 and 32-bit) and I've installed all the updates it needs.

It will not open any JPG or RAW, .tif, .jpg, .dng and .cr2 files. Before you reinstall Windows Photoshop worked well.

When I try to open an image file that Photoshop does not open, so the file type is associated with Photoshop, but that's all. The software is running, but it won't open the jpg or tif, and it does not open Camera Raw to display the RAW file.

If I double-click on a new image, then a new instance of Photoshop is open, in addition to the already open instance, but still no picture.

If I click file-open and navigate to the file it will then open in Photoshop and Camera Raw 9.1.1 and the picture shows successfully.

    Strange!

The only thing I think currently, is that I have 2 partitions on the laptop, with C: and a D: readers, with the users folder, which is held on D. Photoshop is confused by there? Well it is exactly how the laptop has always been in place, and it was already defined in this way before Photoshop has been installed.

I tried to uninstall and reinstall. I tried to install just Photoshop 64 Bit, not 32 bit (I don't really know why I get the two offered, to be honest.)

I am now lost and would like to receive helpful suggestions!

    I "solved" this problem!

It seems that Photoshop won't open these files from a Windows 7 'Library' that points to a redirected folder.

However, if I create a mapped drive with a drive letter local, the actual path of the files, (for example \\Server\FolderRedirections\Michael\Pictures), then it works OK.

It is a good work-round and it makes no difference to me if I use a mapped drive or library I put just one correct, in the section 'Favorites' from Windows Explorer.

Thanks for the suggestions guys, that helped me a lot. I hope this answer helps someone else, even if my situation may not be a common scenario.

  • 6 Lightroom do not discount Photoshop CS6 any longer.

I can no longer hand off images from Lightroom to Photoshop CS6 6.  It comes up with an error message "the file could not be modified because Adobe Photoshop CS 6 could not be launched.  It is actually launched, but the image no longer come up to what I click OK on the error of LR and then he launches.

Also now in Photoshop CS6 independent I can not enter the bridge or do a lot of other functions such as error that keeps coming back to the States "could not complete traverse it at the head of bridge because Photoshop was unable to find the JavaScript Plugin.  I checked after the last update of Java.

I've assigned CS5 as "additional external editor" and that works very well with a transfer procedure in LR.

Here's the solution.  I got the premium on a 9.5 installed on my system.  A survey of several sites indicated that it was the culprit.  I uninstalled the software on a single and my problems went away.  I reinstalled on one premium and returned all the problems.

Just to clarify, the offending software was on a perfect Photo Suite 9,5.  I have no problem using the previous version perfect Photo Suite 8 as it works very well now that 9.5 has been uninstalled.  I'm happy for forums like this to discuss the issues that arise.  On one denies any guilt for it, so it was left to the user to understand.  I have another system in my photo studio running LR 6 and On1 perfect Photo Suite 9.5 on Windows 7 without any problem.  It just seems to be Windows 8.1 what he doesn't seem to like.

  • Photoshop CS6 windows cannot open a .hdr file

    I can't open files .hdr with Photoshop CS6 Version 13 x 64 for windows 7.
I just updated and installed the optional plugins, just in case it would help, but I still get the same error: "Could not complete your request because the file format module cannot parse the file."
I read online somewhere else what this error code means that the files are corrupted with other types of file, but I wasn't sure with these that I never used before .hdr.

Sorry if this is a discussion of repeat, I saw most of the other discussions were errors trying to make one - I just try to open a.

Nope, that just tells us the file extension is .hdr (which we already knew).

Can you post a file that we can take a look at?

I still suspect that they have the wrong file extension.

  • Photoshop CS6 could not open or create new paintings?

My photoshop cs6 load very well. However, when I try to open a file or create a new one, nothing happens. He says even that anything could. I tried to open several files, and nothing works.

It solved!  Its a corrupt windows profile folder somewhere / somehow.

    Essentially on win 7:

1.) close photoshop completely.  Wait like 30 seconds to be sure.

    2.) go to C:\Users\YOURUSER\AppData
3.) go in each subfolder (local, roaming, etc.) and rename files "Adobe" to "ADOBE_OLD".  Make sure you get all the

4.) do not know if it is too necessary, but repeat steps #3: C:\Users\Default\AppData
5.) open photshop and try to open any image.  He will yell at you that your trial period is over and it is necessary to connect.

  • Photoshop CS6 do not open or create files

I use Adobe Cloud. And downloaded Photoshop CS6. Use it locally.

It was working fine.  For weeks. The application will always load without error. But if I open a file, nothing happens. No error message. But no file is displayed. And if I try to create a new file of the same thing. No error message. But no new canvas to work with. In both cases, nothing appears in the layers panel.

The Help menu gives me the option to disable. So I guess this isn't a problem of activation.

Fireworks works very well. Illustrator works very well. Photoshop has this problem.

    I'm in Windows 8. 64 bit 12 GB. NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 2 GB. Adobe Photoshop Version: 13.0 (13.0 20120315.r.428 2012/03 / 15:21:00:00) x 64. No 3rd party option plugins.

    Photoshop updated - Yes

Windows 8 to date - Yes

    Cleared prefs - already tried

    Uninstalled. Re-installed. Now it's working.

  • Photoshop CS6 will not open graphics files

Photoshop cs6 open no graphic files, I have reset the settings. I have the chance to see all the files preview, but when I try to open a file, nothing happens, no error message, no file opens, nothing.

When I use Bridge I'm trying to open the file to open it in photoshop cs6, but once again, nothing happens. I found that if I reboot my PC photoshop works correctly until I turned off photoshop, but if I open it more later before restarting my pc now graphic files will be open.

Hello, Yes, it could very well be useful, I see that you use several third-party plug-ins, I had to check first in that direction.

It is possible to start without plug-ins by holding down the SHIFT key, to see if it's a plugin that is causing the problem, as explained http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/troubleshooting-plug-ins-photoshop-cs6.html

Then, if Photoshop works well, check the following:

I see Phototools 2.6 hidden no version, then the 2.6.5 (the good version, according to: http://www.ononesoftware.com/support/360/ ), I don't know if this is normal, could check you if they are not installed twice?

Topaz clean is to 3.0.2 and remask to 3.2.1 I would check their version (as it is listed here 10.0)

Another thing would be to check if the new graphics card drivers are not available on the nVidia site.

  • Photoshop CS6 no longer works.

I bought the standalone Photoshop CS6 years when he was released and later joined the creative cloud. I recently decided not to continue my subscription to the CC and thought I could continue to use the CS6 as I already had, but appears not to be the case. I'm puzzled as to why I need a subscription to the CC to use the stand alone version that I bought before existing same CC.

    Am I missing something?

    Thank you. Kim

Check your disk for other problems, then uninstall and reinstall Photoshop.

If the drive has other problems - make a backup!

  • 64-bit version of Adobe Photoshop CS6 no longer displays in the framework program

A few days ago, I have somehow a virus on my computer laptop windows 7. With the anti-virus software, I was able to quickly identify and remove it from my system. After I deleted the virus I noticed that my 64-bit Photoshop CS6 shortcut missing from my desk. I even went in my computer > programs and it does not show up there. Photoshop CS6 32-bit is still there and it works fine.

I was wondering should I re - install CS6 on my count and if I do this should I disable my current version before that I re - install?

Thanks a lot for your help.

    Jim-Blackston

You can re - install the 64-bit version. Personally, I'd rather wipe a system infected by the virus and start over.
