  None of the microphones in the studio work with our new E6320 Latitude. We tested the mics with mono, stereo cards taken, microphones headphones cheap and expensive studio microphones and none of them work or show a signal in windows 'Recorder' setting 'Jack Mic.

  JJ, these types of jacks work with smart phone helmets that have a segment 4 plug instead of the normal 3 segments. It is unfortunate that they are put in computers. When used with normal cameras they will work as you described, headset will work but micro cards will not mate properly with contacts. You must use an adapter that you will find if you do a search under smart phone cards. One of them is the boyfriend of "helmet".

  Are you preview site in the edge browser? When you preview the page in the browser Muse create a local server to give you the preview in the browser. With the edge browser, there was a reported issue to access the local server.

  I found the solution to the problem, and it is indeed with the revised in Windows 7 Control Panel.

  Here how to solve the problem:
  Go to the control panel in Windows 7.
  Search scanner in the upper search box to the right
  You will see a "view scanners and cameras".
  Click it, you will see the Epson Perfection V200. Highlight.
  Click Properties, then Yes, then events.
  Where it says select an event, you MUST choose the event suitable for each option.
  To the Start button, choose Start the series of creativity
  For the copy button Choose launch Epson Scan

  PDF includes Epson scan
  There you go.

  Thanks for the reply. I had to reinstall Windows 7 on my machine. It corrects the problem.

  However, it caused another :). Now my camera Canon A710IS unrecognized despite getting all the latest updates. Any help will be appreciated.

  Try the scan using the Image Capture in your Applications folder.  Click your scanner on the left side, click "Show details" on the bottom.

  Photosmart 7510 Scanner does not work.  My scanner has the habit of work.   Now it does not for one of the three users on my Windows 7 desktop.

  I spent over 3 hours on the phone with HP.   They had me restart the computer, Plug and unplug the printer, reinstall the software twice under different names. The software depending on what user id, it is installed under allows access to the scanner/printer to one or more users.  The scanner works with Windows Paint software for all three nicknames.

  HP response is that some user control prevents the scanner software, who used to work on all three nicknames on the computer, which now works on one or more of the users.  They couldn't tell me which user control need changing.

  The HP solution is to restore my system when I could scan for all users of three.   I don't want to do that.   Does anyone have a better solution?

  The real problem is HP error messages.   When I click on scan a document, there is no answer.  Nothing happened.

  Then I tried to scan using Windows Fax and Scan.   I got an error message which helped me locate the source of the error.   I was able to fix the problem without creating a new user account.  I had deleted bu error the file MY Document.   Restore this file fixes the problem.

  I bought this laptop from a friend (have receipt) who sell it to me because the screen was cracked and spidered all out when you the activated. And everywhere he went to ask to get the screen fixed it is very expensive ($250 - $350) and he said that it would be just a newer laptop. So he sold me this which is a model Probook of HP4420s XT940UT #ABA. About a week after I bought this Probook friend who sold it to died me suddenly. It was sudden and terrible. Some time later, I had the time of the purchase of the LCD for this model, replace it myself (was very easy actually) and booted up the laptop with a new installation of Windows 7 Professional 64-bit Edition. After installing all my software and using the laptop for a while now, I wanted to get into the Bios that I've never done. So when I started the laptop, click ESC, then F10 to enter the BIOS, there were two places to enter a password is different then all Dell I've ever owned. One was mine I guees I put in place using HP protect tools and the other says BIOS/administrator. Well I can do most of the changes with the one I put in place with my password but my password does not work, nor can I get in some very significant changes that I wanted to do using Bios/administrator, as kindling the LoJack, namely the blocking of the hard drive etc. , turning on turbo boost, fan, etc. Well, since the person I bought is no longer with us, there is no one to turn to the answer to this question of administrator/BIOS password / problem.  I tried to take battery Rtype and restore that way, didn't work. Several times, I called HP and they sent me to a BIOS page to download the same BIOS, I have already, would not let me install it. When I bring up the command prompt and do not put anything in BiosConfigureUtility.exe happens, said just a wrong command. When I try to enter the BIOS through the C: file in the files of the SSM, I reach the BiosConfigUtility.exe file, click on it to open it and it just flashes a way small order page to fast to read what it says.
