After two weeks of my phone now on she began to have a series of glitches, beginning with: sharp phone without warning or Benoit dead phone, changing the time, the phone with not not a charge, phone ONLY come on when it is plugged. Should I just buy a new phone, or it can be saved?

    Okay, so here's the deal:

2 days ago I decided to try an Oculus Rift DK2, it did not work (most likely) because I use a laptop that has an integrated graphics card and a dedicated graphics card, so I decided to restart the computer and attempt to disable the onboard via the BIOS and see if that fixes the problem. Given that I've never used the BIOS on a Windows 8, I could not enter the first attempt and made a normal reboot instead. I tried again and finally reboot force reboot of the machine before it had properly started. I looked at the BIOS successfully, but to my great disappointment, Asus (maker of my laptop) had decided not to include this option in the BIOS, so I exit the BIOS without making any changes.

(This is where the fun begins the part)

OK, so after I came back my computer BIOS (without applied modification), began as usual, but after the screen with blue logo of Windows 8 start, he has encountered an unrecoverable error. The error said that the machine collects data for the error report and that the ID of the error is «SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION» This is all the information that I received from her.

When he was made the collection of data, it restarted the machine, but instead of a regular boot sequence, it went through a process of diagnosis of some sort. It prompted me whether or not I wanted to go back to a system restore point, or if I want to cancel (do not know what cancel was referring to). I pressed cancel and waited about an hour, as it was stuck on the screen of Windows 8 logo, but he had no orbs rotation as it does on the normal start screen. After that, I had an another command prompt where it says that automated repairs had failed and that I have a couple of other troubleshooting options, including a reboot in safe mode. It starts in mode safe fine without any problem. In fact, I use it now.

Here's what I've tried so far:

    • I checked if the error can be caused by Windows updates.
    • I diagnosed my hard drives.
    • I reinstalled my dedicated GPU drivers.
    • I tried to reload twice in safe mode to "clean up the start state.
    • Digitized machine for virus/malware

No such action had no effect on the problem. It happens again every time that I reboot (outside of these times when it restarts automatically in diagnostic mode)

I don't know what I can do to solve this problem.

When I turn on my computer Windows 8 it requires me to enter my Hotmail password to access Windows. I want the computer just turn on and start unless I have my password.

If you connect with a Microsoft account then you must use a password.

    All my children use it

EEEK! It's a recipe for disaster.

I assume that the one and the only user account on the computer is an administrator account?

If so, create a Local Administrator account with a password and keep it for elevation and only emergency access.
Change your account of the daily use of Admin Standard.

Create a new Local Standard account for your children. (No password need it at all).

    Hi Choy,

Please contact Microsoft Community. I appreciate your efforts to solve this problem, I'll probably help you with this problem.

To better understand the issue, I would like to know what is the brand and model of the computer?

This problem might have occurred because of these reasons:
1 conflict between third-party applications or equipment.

    2. bad power settings.

    Try the steps listed here:

    Method 1:

I suggest you to remove all external devices except the keyboard and mouse. Now set up your computer in a clean boot state, and check if it helps. Setting the system in a clean boot state will help you determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem.

  • computer is stuck in the screen that lets you choose Safe mode or start normally

    Original title: stuck

My computer is stuck in the screen that lets you choose Safe mode or start normally. When I choose that it just goes back to the same screen. stuck in this screen

If there is a problem starting, XP is configured to automatically try to start again and you can stuck in a loop not being able to go beyond the screen boot options, or none of these startup options you choose will work only.

Sometimes, when XP has a problem starting or falls down and tries to start again, it will give you a "short" menu of boot options and none of them will appear to be good to get your system going again.  You have tried them all!

The options are similar to the Advanced Boot Options menu XP, but the only option that you need (disable automatic error system reboot) are not offered, because XP went too far during the boot process and offers a limited number of boot options.

If this is the case, you must call Options menu advanced boot yourself until you do not see the option:

Disable the automatic restart in the event of system failure

When you get the XP Advanced Options correct start menu you want to see, he has options on it like these:

    Safe mode
    Safe mode with networking
    Safe mode with command prompt

    Enable Boot logging
    Enable VGA mode
Last good Configuration known (your most recent settings that worked)
Directory Services Restore Mode (Windows domain controllers only)
    Debug mode
Disable the automatic restart in the event of system failure

    Start Windows normally
    Reset
    Return to OS Choices Menu

You need to choose in this menu is the option:

Disable the automatic restart in the event of system failure

Then if XP does not start normally, you will see an error screen with information and clues about the problem and then you can decide what to do next.

If you do not see the automatic restart on system failure option turn it off, you must reset your system and start typing the key F8 on the keyboard until you see her disable automatic restart on system failure option.

If you miss the window of opportunity F8, you must try again and start tapping the F8 key with more urgency (earlier and more frequently) until you see disable automatic restart on system failure, and then select.

You must keep trying the F8 menu until you see disable automatic restart on system failure option, and select it.

If your system has a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD), we need to know what the screen says:

Here's a BSOD example showing information you provide:

    http://TechRepublic.com.com/i/tr/downloads/images/bsod_a.jpg

Send for the nose and the Red arrows (3 to 4 lines total).

Send all * line STOP message since there are clues in the 4 parameters.

If it looks like there is some kind of name listed in the STOP message file, send this line also.

Ignore the boring text unless it seems important to you.  We know what a BSOD looks like, we need to know what your BSOD looks like.

Answering queries and results report of the disable automatic restart on system failure screen and you can decide what to do next.

every other hardware button works perfectly, and today I received my replacement unit in the my insurance with 3mobile.

BUT... because I can't have my phone, I can't do a factory reset / data grab I want BEFORE I have to send it back to 3

I can't for the life of me it starts in recovery mode and read conflicting articles for if a mode of rebuilding of inventories is even included. When connected to my laptop via USB I can't access the data because it requires the phone to be unlocked.

Any ideas / you can offer clarification would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, depending on your country and your dealer you may have had one in the box with the phone. It can be used to transfer data from iPhone to Xperia so that they are included in some regions and some traders.

But if you do not have one in the area you can get one on Ebay (our name EC310 but all OTG adapter should work). The merchants, who sells mobile phones will have probably have them as well.

  • White screen after that the virus KLPD, same save modus starts

Hi, yesterday while surfing the internet has become my white screen, it was the virus KLPD. I found on the internet that I had to download the kaspersky rescue disk and run it on my pc so I could scan my pc on the virus and after that my pc should be normal. So I did what they asked, but now, whenever I start my pc, when I would have my office, I get a white screen and when I pres ctrl + alt + delete I can get in the menu but the management tasks does not start. Now my question how can I come back all my documents and work normal again to my laptop. Its a HP Pavilion dv6000 Entertainment PC.

    Thank you

    Hey AlexDedeur5,

You may be able to create a Live CD. This is a CD with an alternative operating system that runs completely from a CD rather than your hard drive.

Using a Live CD, you can access your hard disk just like you acceding to a flash drive. You can copy and paste your files from the hard drive of your laptop computer to a flash drive or external hard drive. You will need to scan that disc flash drive/external hard with a reliable anti-virus program before opening or transfer these files to avoid infecting a second computer.

To get a very good Live CD is Knoppix. I used it before a couple times to get data from infected computers and hard drives, partially damaged by a fall. Here are some links that provide you with more information about Knoppix.

How to recover data in Linux

5 tips for using Knoppix to recover data to a PC starts plu

How do to retrieve the files from the laptop with Windows crashed using the Knoppix CD

Once your data is backed up and scanned with an antivirus, you will need to re - install Windows on the hard drive of your laptop. You can have a recovery partition which you can access by pressing F11 as the computer powers on. If you do not have the HP Recovery Manager, choose System Recovery to factory settings.

If you are unable to the HP Recovery Manager, or it has been lost due to virus, you will need to re - install Windows with a set of recovery disks. If you do not already have your own records, you can order them through HP. If you could provide me with your exact product number (and your country if outside the United States), I could link you to your order for your particular laptop. Here are the steps to finding your product number.

  • White screen at the Vista start up... only the mouse pointer, loading the driver freezes on crcdisk.sys loading, sfc/scannow does not work...

    Hello
I don't know if this is the right place for this post... Sorry if it's not! I had looked online if anyone has the same problem to me, I found similar problems, but not the mine one (but if there is, can you please give me the link?).
I have a DELL LATITUDE D830's with a dual boot (Ubuntu and Vista). When I run Vista I get the Windows logo and then a black screen with only the mouse pointer.
Keyboard does not work. I can move the mouse, but can not select anything. No work of Ctr + Alt + Delete.
I can just turn off the computer. At first I need to press F8 to choose something otherwise I get the black screen.
If I reboot requesting the automatic restoration of the PC that he asks me the account and work only account is mine a (no administrator available). He then suggested to contact the administrator. I checked the error report and nothing is reported: the system works.
I have no previous configuration to restore.
I can access the command prompt. So I tried to write sfc/scannow. The answer is that to complete the process requires to restart the computer and make again sfc/scannow. I restart again, the new order, but I get the same answer...
When I get the black screen, CPU is not disabled, because after a long time (about 2 hours) the computer restarts itself... If something happens even if I don't know what!

The only thing I have not tried is to restore Vista from CD... I'm really afraid that this could remove the partition, or crash at startup I have, by removing access to Linux!

I have a backup of all my files, so no matter if what I have to do to cancel my files, but what I really need is to keep Linux operating.

So, if you have any suggestions... I'm not good at using the computer, so, please, a solution step by step be really appreciate it!
    Thank you very much

    Paola

PS No peripherics are connected, the wireless is disabled

    Hi seymar,.

I suggest that you run a tool to restart system on the computer and check if it works.

If you have a Windows Vista installation disc, you need to restart (boot) your computer using the installation disc. If you do not restart your computer from the disk, the option to repair your computer will not appear.

    1. Insert the installation disc.
    2. restart your computer.
Click the Start button, click the arrow next to the lock button, and then click restart.
    3. If you are prompted, Press any key to start Windows from the installation disc.
Note If your computer is not configured to start from a CD or a DVD, see the documentation provided with your computer. You may need to change the BIOS settingsfor your computer. For more information, see BIOS: frequently asked questions. 4. choose your language settings, and then click Next.
    5. click on repair your computer.
    6. Select the operating system you want to repair, and then click Next.
    7. in the System Recovery Options menu, click Startup Repair.

Check out the link for more information below.
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/how-do-I-fix-a-boot-startup-problem

If the previous step fails then I suggest that you run CHKDSK on the computer to check if there are any errors on the hard drive.
    1. Insert the installation disc.
    2. restart your computer.
Click the Start button, click the arrow next to the lock button, and then click restart.
    3. If you are prompted, Press any key to start Windows from the installation disc.
Note: If your computer is not configured to start from a CD or a DVD, see the documentation provided with your computer. You may need to change the BIOS settingsfor your computer. For more information, see BIOS: frequently asked questions.
    4. choose your language settings, and then click Next.
    5. click on repair your computer.
    6. Select the operating system you want to repair, and then click Next.
    7. in the System Recovery Options menu, click on the command prompt and type chkdsk command-line /f and wait until the scan is complete and later to restart the computer and check what is happening.

Welcome to the Microsoft Answers site.

Unfortunately you can not return the taskbar to display the start menu to the basic button. It's normal. If you move to the left or right, in both cases the start menu button appears on the top left or top right of the task bar.

  • Black screen when the computer starts.

    Original title: Windows startup

Since today, when I start my computer (windows 7), he crosses to the Welcome to windows screen, then goes to a black screen with just the active mouse - no office. I used ctrl-alt-del and looked at the running processes. There were 2 'runonce' process running, and when I stopped one, it is loaded on the desktop. This happens everytime I turn on the computer. Is there any solution for this?

    Hello

Thank you for visiting Microsoft Community.

From the description of the problem, I can understand that your computer goes to a black screen after login. I would be grateful if you can provide us with the following information to help us better understand the issue.

    1. What happens when you right click the mouse on the black screen. Do you get the options?
    2. What is the brand and model of your computer?

Especially this problem appears due to lack, corrupt or incompatible display driver problem, however, there may be other causes as third-party programs collide, virus/malware etc as well attack.

You can try these methods mentioned below and check if it helps:

Method 1: Please follow the suggestions listed in the link below:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/why-is-my-screen-black-when-i-start-Windows-7

Method 2: I suggest you to run Microsoft Safety Scanner to search for viruses and malware and remove if necessary.

The Microsoft Security Scanner is a downloadable security tool for free which allows analysis at the application and helps remove viruses, spyware and other malware. It works with your current antivirus software.

Note: The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again. The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.

Hope this information was helpful and let us know if you need more assistance. We will be happy to help.

  • Inspiron 9400/E1705 - lines vertical and the seeds, and then black screen on startup of the computer

I have an Inspiron 9400/E1705 with a nVidia Geforce Go 7900 GS. A few months as the computer started showing the seeds while I was game (textures does not, massive downturn, etc.) and then finally horizontal began to appear on the screen, from start-up. I was unable to get into Windows with the exception of Safe Mode. I thought that the problem was the graphics card, and some users on this forum have confirmed this suspicion. Although in May 2007, when I was still under warranty, I got the card replaced, I don't was more under warranty at the time so I started shopping around for a replacement.

Before that I bought a replacement, however, the computer just stopped starting upwards. Previously, at least I could get Safe Mode and check my e-mail or Word process; now the screen stays empty (the LCD and an external monitor) and seems not even to try to start. The power and it occupied lights turn green, however, and remain like that until I turn off the power. I tried to boot with a RAM chip, thanks to the optical drive removed, with the hard drive, removed, and combinations of these, just to see if anything would change (anything).

My question is if this can also be a symptom of the graphics card does not, or I have a bigger problem on my hands?

    Thank you.

Edit: I forgot to mention that I ran the diagnosis before the white screen began to arrive, and only errors have been associated with the video.  I can't run any diagnostic now, though, to see if there are new mistakes, which is why I want to confirm a dead card can do that until I get a new.

  • When I click on the Firefox Start Page it goes to a full screen with the logo of Firefox... full page... nothing else showing... Help, please.

Something went wrong when I was trying to figure out how to get my regular size rather than the full screen display. Cannot get any tools, options, etc. Only the logo of Firefox with the search bar... That's happened.?

Normally the F11 key will pass you to the normal display mode (or in the display full-screen function of the current screen). Does it work?

Mode full screen, drag your mouse point to the top must cause the toolbar area to slide down. Does it work?

If Firefox is 'stuck' in the view full screen, the file that contains the dimensions of the window may become corrupted. You can rename the file to fix this problem, but it may also affect what bars are displayed (for example, if you are using the classic menu bar, you may need to which restart). Here's how:

Open the settings folder (AKA Firefox profile) current Firefox help

    • button "3-bar" menu > "?" button > troubleshooting information
    • (menu bar) Help > troubleshooting information
    • type or paste everything: in the address bar and press Enter

To open the page without having access to all the foregoing, either:

    • Hold down the ALT key and press H to activate the Help menu, release the ALT key and press T to display the troubleshooting information page
    • type or paste the following text in the search box of the start menu, and press ENTER:
      firefox.exe "about:support"

In the first table of the page, click on the view file"" button. This should launch a new window that lists the various files and folders in Windows Explorer.

Leave this window open, switch back to Firefox and output, either:

    • "3-bar" menu button > button "power".
    • (menu bar) File > Exit

To exit Firefox do not have access to the foregoing:

    • Hold down the ALT key and press F to activate the menu file, release the ALT key and press x to trigger an exit

Pause while Firefox finishing its cleanup, then rename xulstore.json to something like xulstore.old. If you see a file named localstore.rdf, rename this to localstore.old.

Launch Firefox back up again. Windows normally appear again?
