The ability to rotate the screen image is a feature of your video card, to help work with instructors who rotate the portrait orientation. Almost certainly you accidentally pressed Ctrl-Alt, and
an arrow key.
Rotate using these keys.

I "lost" my screen about 1/2 in. in the right margin and about 1 inch down.  May not know how to get it "centered" back on the moitor?  Thank you.

It is a desktop monitor and there controls on this subject? If so, this is what allows you to adjust the image. Good luck, Rick Rogers, aka "Crazy" - Microsoft MVP http://mvp.support.microsoft.com Windows help - www.rickrogers.org

  • Position of the taskbar? How can I move the taskbar to return at the end of the screen? It is vertical on the right side of my screen?

I have no idea of what I got to do my task bar to move to the right of my screen, but I would like to know how to bring it back to the bottom of the screen? Please

    Unlock and move the taskbar

Once you unlock the taskbar, it is ready to move to any horizontal or vertical office edge.

    Taskbar

    View all

    To unlock the taskbar
    • Right click on a space empty in the taskbar. If a checkmark beside him doesn't lock the taskbar, the taskbar is locked. You can unlock it by clicking on lock the taskbar, which removes the check mark.

      Note

To lock the taskbar into place, right-click an empty space in the task bar, then click on lock the taskbar, so that the box is displayed.

Click on an empty space on the taskbar, and then hold down the mouse button, dragging the taskbar to one of the four sides of the office. Once the taskbar where you want, release the mouse button.

    See you soon.

  • How do I make pop up windows back to the left side of the screen when they are moving to the right?

Whenever I click on a link, a new window opens. That's good, that's what I wanted. They always opened up on the left side of the screen. However, they now open in the middle of the screen. It's already happened and the screen finally opened completely on the right. Last time this happened, I ended up having to remove something. I don't know what, but it solved the problem. How can I make my smaller email is too big and it was too long on the right side, it is when I click on create email and when it opens I do not have the right of it

You can move the window by grabbing the title bar at the top. Once you have a visible advantage, place the cursor on the right on that edge, left click and drag it to the desired size. First close all other windows and the latter so that Windows remember their size.

    Suggestions:

Since it lies lately (maybe today), please do a system restore. Choose a date when you don't have a problem as your restore point.
Start button > Search box, type system restore > press the Enter key > uac prompt > click on choose a different restore point > next > select dates as your restore point, until the click > next > finish
To sit and wait. The machine restarts when it's done

You can try to adjust the resolution. First, but not the restoration of the system. If it fails, then...
Right-click on a free space of the desktop > personalize > display settings > move slide towrds the right to increase the resolution. Mine is a Dell laptop, and setting of the mine is 1280 x 800. Yours may be different. For the benefits of others looking for answers, please mark as answer suggestion if it solves your problem.

  • The computer screen does not turn off after the specified power Options

I tried several ways on trying to turn off my monitor of my laptop through the options of food and the use of some applications such as nircmd but nothing works every time. I'm sure it can be a program I am not using a device. I have a wireless mouse plugged into a USB port, but I know that's not what is keeping the PC awake, as always happens when it is not plugged. The thing that bothers me is I don't know how to identify this process shut off and I tried to put end as many process I can safely or those that I am knowledgeable in the subject to close. I would really like this feature back. Thanks in advance for the answers and ask if all the details are needed.

I understood what was the 'problem '. It turns the screen of my laptop never turns off if my laptop is installed on a sloping surface, because it assumes that I'm working on it. When I went to bed my laptop on a flat level surface, is power does work normally, as reduces the brightness of the screen to the bottom, then turns off after a while. I guess it must be a form any a single function on my laptop. Thanks for all your answers.

I connected my laptop to my TV via hdmi and it works absolutely fine, which is how I'M writing this issue right now. I tried to update the drivers for my graphics card, but that did nothing. It's just the backlight does not turn no more. is it far from accidentally turn the backlight on or off? If I have to completely replace the monitor or just replace the lighting? any suggestions?

  • Impossible to load Windows Vista, screen stuck at the loading screen (green cursor will move to the right)

Last night I tried to Hibernate my laptop (Windows Vista 64-bit), but it took forever so I held the power button to stop it. When I started it today, however, it would not load windows. I tried loading in safe mode, but it stops at crcdisk.sys. I tried using the automatic repair tool to find issues. The first time, it took about 2 hours to fix, but once it asks me to click 'Finish' to restart, it restarts and arrives at the black screen with the Green loading thing goes from left to right. It remains to this screen for minutes, hours. I also tried to boot from the last known good configuration, and this does not work either. I tried to restore to a previous point, but there was no previous system restore point. Windows was working fine the night before.

Thanks in advance for any help.

The symptoms you describe point to a faulty hard drive. Hard drives can appear to fail suddenly like this so the fact that he was 'before' is irrelevant. Test the hard drive with a diagnostic utility downloaded from site of the disc mftr. or use SeaTools for BACK of Seagate. You create a bootable CD with the files you download. You will need a third party burning software to do as the free ImgBurn, Nero or Roxio. Burn as an image, not in the form of data.

I don't remember clicking on anything to change the size...

  • Accelerometer turns off when the screen is off

When testing my application on a Z10 android port the accelerometer turns off when the screen is off. A partial wake lock does not turn the sensor back on. A wake dim screen lock is needed to re - turn on the detector. This behavior forces the screen to be all the time when an application requires the use of these sensors.

An example would be a pedometer recording the steps throughout the day. In order to operate the screen must be turned on by the application that runs in the background. This will cause a fast draining of the battery and is not an acceptable solution.

On Android, a partial wake lock is enough to keep the accelerometer running.

I think this should be reported as a deficiency, a lot of motion carried since Android applications will be blocked by this and my app port is one of them.

Tested on system Z10, model number STL100-3. Version of the 10.1.0.273 software

The fix will appear in MR 10.2, 10.2.1 aka.

I recently submitted a fix for the problem.
