    Hi syl.123,

-What do you mean when you mention 'screen went big "? What is fonts, icons etc. looks great?

As you have tried to change the resolution and dint notice the difference, change the dots per inch (DPI) setting as 96 DPI and check if it helps fix the problem.

  • BlackBerry 10 Images on the screen and the icons are HUGE and no menus appear

While different setting my new BB10 survey, I hit one called something like Visual improvement or larger images or something that that would make the icons and items appear more large on the screen.

Now - EVERYTHING is so big, I see only 4 icons at a time on the screen area and it will not move upwards or downwards (they roll but then take down where they began).

-I can't go back to the menu I have reset the size on because it will allow me to SET button.

I can also use the hub as the police is now so important that only a few lines are visible and is not allowing me to scroll up or down through

I tried to restart and to remove the battery in the hope that it would be handed over to the defauly. No luck

    Advice?

I just reproduced the effect you mentioned.   I thought I was circled. Hahahaha,

What you need to do is on your homescreen put 2 fingers apart on the screen and drag your fingers together.   The opposite for Zoom.   When you do this, you can make the icons of normal size.

Then, from there, you will be able to get the settings and turn off magnification mode.

    You can attach a screenshot?

    • Use a type of compressed as PNG or JPG image to save the screenshot
    • Make sure you do not exceed the maximum size of 1 MB

Try to assign layout.css.devPixelsPerPx 1.0 (default is - 1) on the topic: config page.
If necessary adjust the value by 0.1 or 0.05 (1.1 or 0.9) until icons or text looks right.

You can open the topic: config page via the address bar.
You can accept the warning and click on "I'll be careful" to continue.

    (1) make sure that you have Blackberry Desktop Manager installed.
    http://NA.BlackBerry.com/eng/services/desktop/
    (2) on your PC, go to start > run and copy and paste the following line exactly (i.e. with quotation marks):

    'c:\program files\common research in motion\apploader\loader.exe' /nojvm

    (3) the Application Loader Wizard will appear - click on "next".
    (4) in the ' connection: ' drop-down menu, you should see "USB - PIN: UNKNOWN". Click on the button "next".
    (5) you should see a list of applications ready to be installed for your Blackberry. Press Next and finish, and that you are well on your way to get your Blackberry to life. Just unplug and let the process finish completely.

NOTE: If you do not display the list of applications mentioned in step 5 and instead to see the message "the Blackberry Desktop Software has no Blackberry Device Software for the device you have connected to the computer. Contact your wireless service provider or system administrator', then you must download the Blackberry operating system for your support and your device.
    http://www.BlackBerryFAQ.com/index.php/BlackBerry_Operating_System_Downloads
Just select the appropriate type of carrier and network, select your Blackberry model from the list and download the latest version. Install this download and follow the steps above again and you should be on the right track.

I suggest you follow these steps to resize the icon:

    a. click the Start button and then click Control Panel.

    b. in the Panel configuration, make sure you are in Classic view, with all the Control Panel Icons view. If this is not the case, click on switch to Classic view in the left pane of the control panel.

    c. click view to open the display properties dialog box. Click on the appearance tab, and then click effects.

    d. in the effects dialog box, clear the use large icons check box.

  • After installing the latest updates, my screen on large icons, screen too big for my moniter

the only way of difficulty was to uninstall updates.

After installing the latest updates, my screen on large icons, screen too large for my moniter the only way of difficulty was to uninstall updates.

Sounds like something in the update causes a conflict with your video driver or change the resolution settings.

The first thing to do to solve the problem is to try to install each of the updates one at a time instead of let Windows Update do several updates together.  If you're lucky, the problem can not ride again.  If so, you'll know at least update is the cause of the problem.

If the problem persists, try right click on an empty area of your desktop and select properties to open the display properties dialog box.  Select the settings tab.  Look to see if the screen is correctly identified and if the resolution seems correct.  If you spot something wrong, change to the correct setting.  If everything looks correct, you can try to change the resolution to see if that can solve the problem.

You can also check the website of the manufacturer of your graphics card to see if they have an updated display driver.  Updates of the operating system only sometimes work correctly if you have the latest version of the drivers for the various components.

If all else fails, you can uninstall the update one that is causing the problem and mark do not show you this update again in Windows updates.   Doing so will be considered a last resort - especially if the update in question is one of the security updates.

Try to return to the English Canada and see if the desktop icons reappear.  If they do, when the default language has changed he assumed you have created a new 'profile' perhaps and you see profile this profile's empty office.  Alternatively, if a new profile has been created, open the old profile (person) when you open a session.
