My Skype 7.22 keeps crashing

My Skype hangs on as soon as I log in and try to start a new conversation. It has happened since 2 weeks and usually I just need to reboot my PC and it works again. But today, it totally crashes and I can't use my Skype at all. I tried to uninstall and reinstall but it still crashes.

My version of Skype is 7.22.109 running on Windows 7 Professional

    After that I upgraded from El Capitan in Sierra, I can't print from an application such as Adobe CC (all versions), Microsoft Office (2011). All applications are keep crashing when I do the print command.

    Oddly even though I could see speedbit mentioned in your reports of incidents and the title of related bug I didn't see he's looking for to your system details side. It is a component of something else, or Firefox support simply not picked up and listed.

  • -win 7 64 - all versions of Firefox (tested 17-20.b) keep crashing except if used in compatibility XP sp3

    Since yesterday my firefox crashes, sometimes I have the option to reset firefox or start in safe mode. Using only the mode without failure of firefox works fine (but without plugins/addons)

    So I did a fresh reinstall (No Add ons etc) thought to solve the problem.
    I was using v19 when all this happened so retrograde to v17 hoping to fix it.
    Now, I tried to v20b v17 and all keep crashing when used "normally".
    After the new installation I have more the possibility to use the firefox safe.

    If my recollection is correct, I had a few Java Update at the time of the first collision. I also tried to use the automatic update of win7, but those failed.
    I therefore also uninstalled all java components, installed fresh firefox and tried to start firefox, before and after reinstalling java.

    in all situations is immediately crashes.

    The only way to make firefox work now uses the Windows XP (sp3) to windows compatibility.

    I have no system restore points win7, so there is no option to use.
    All other software (and browser) work very well... only firefox crashes all the time.

    How to solve this problem?
    I looked around and followed all the suggestions I found on topics somewhat related to mine, but nothing works.

  • Firefox update (19.0) keeps crashing when I open something new or try refreshing. VERY IRRITATING!

    I updated firefox 'suggested '. I was happy and had NO of PROBLEMS with the old version. Now whenever I try to open a new tab, a new page or refresh an old page, this version crashes.     Now for my solution to all your problems.  When a computer goes 3 years it can start to have this kind of problems.  It is normally caused by conflicts with the drivers and the remains of remaining after installing and uninstalling programs.  In my opinion, your best option is to do a system restore.  This will return the computer in its original configuration.  Not only this will remove the conflicts and remainders of programs, but it will greatly increase the system performance.  However, before you begin, you must backup your personal data.  I do this at least once or twice a year.  I love the feel of a new computer without problem.

    Now uses Apple its own program for locations maps and too the use you need to run iPhoto 9.5.1 and Mavericks or 9.6.1 and Yosemite El Capitan or Photos and El Capitan.

    I found a solution that works for me.

    1 goto /Applications/iPhoto.app/Contents/Resources (control (right) - click the iPhoto application and select the content in the context menu - OT.)

    2 delete the files 'googlemap.html' and googlesearch.html

    iPhoto no longer crashes, site does not work, but it doesn't bother me too much.

    Let me know if it works for you guys...

    Deletes two files "googlemap.html" and the googlesearch.html of iPhoto application bundle prevents the JavaScript running inside and causing the accident.  Log of course do the same thing. So it's pretty clear that something happened at the end of Google.

    Don't forget to make a backup copy of the iPhoto application before performing this procedure.
