  • Satellite L50-A-19N - sound doesn't work sometimes

    Hello

I am currently the owner of a Toshiba Satellite L50-A-19N and the sound does not work sometimes.

When I play an audio file or a video or same file while playing a video from YouTube, works well for a while and then suddenly it stops.
When that happens, his is always recognized the system because you can see in the volume control, but no sound from my speakers.
The same thing also happens when I connect my external audio interface (M - Audio Fast Track USB).

    I use Windows 8.1
Please help me, because I use my Toshiba mainly for music production and play.

    > When that happens, his is always recognized the system because you can see in the volume control, but no sound from my speakers.

Have you tried to connect a headset while this problem occurs?
    Please check.

In addition, you must uninstall the audio driver installed.
Then you must reboot the laptop and after installing the audio driver (you can get it from the page of the Toshiba driver) once again.

Finally and above all, you said that you are using an external audio interface.
I m not quite sure all these software but it might be possible that these additional 3rd party software could affect the internal sound card / driver. This should be checked as well.

If possible I recommend you test the laptop without these 3 tools/software audio

I have a satellite A100 (not sure the model, but the model is PSAA9A-00S00F)

The sound does not work, but I haven't used the noise for about 7 or 8 months ago.
Mute is not on, all volume controls are ok.
There is only the internal speakers.
    I downloaded the current drivers.
    Running Windows XP Pro.
I did the Windows updates that I can find and made the process of troubleshooting through Windows.
I'm out of warranty so wouldn't send away to get looked at unless absolutely necessary due to cost.

The CD/DVD drive is not read, but the sound is not related to this, because it will not healthy for web content.

    Thank you!

    Hello

You reinstall Windows or only the sound suddenly stopped working?
And the sound card is in the Device Manager? There are some yellow exclamation points?

Before installing the new drivers, you must remove the old drivers first. This means remove the older version of the driver and the software, and then restart the laptop. Use CCleaner to clean the registry and restart. After this installation, the latest driver from Toshiba Europe page.

  • Why the sound doesn't work on my computer when it shows 100%?

Currently, the sound does not work on my computer. He did it on 3 times in recent weeks. It did not last more than a day before it starts to work again. He's now over 2 days. I experienced this in the past & it was because he is somehow, control of the Cup itself. It is not cut now. It's showing 100%. Could there be something else I can try before taking it to a repair store?

    Thank you

  • Dell XPS One - sound doesn't work after coming out of sleep

My new DellXPS One audio (office) is not working when I recover mode standby. I got to go to sleep after 10 minutes. When I wake up, the sound does not work. I check all the sound settings, (for example, check if it has been cut), but I don't find anything wrong. The speaker bar shows me that it's playing sound, but nothing's come out of the speakers (internal - I have nothing plugged into the speaker port). This problem can be solved by restarting my computer, but it's irritating if I do it all the time.

    I'm in Windows 8.

    Any ideas?

I found that the solution was the same as what Kelley says above after the support call.

Make sure all audio drivers are loaded and the problem goes away.

  • all sets of headphones are only receive the right left sound doesn't work-headphones only

my headphones are plugged into the computer before taking and I get only sound right, and I tried three sets of headphones

Go to the mixer and make sure that the balance is equal to the left and right signals.

Also do this for any software, you can use that built into the mixer.

  • Captivate 9: background sound doesn't work don't not in publication

    Hello

I've been testing captivate Road 9 a lot recently... and I'm having a lot of problems when publishing.

When I publish a normal empty project with an audio file (.mp3 or .wav) background, he repeats, glitches and sometimes looks like its overlap of the two in the same track on the other. Any idea of what is the cause? The audio of the main slide is fine, it's just the background noise!

    Thank you!

    Hello

Thank you for reporting the issue. The problem occurs when the project is published on .mp4 which has audio and audio slide background. And the audio of the blade is not present in the first slide.

In this case, you can try this workaround and let us know that it resolves the problem.

Add audio to slide on the first slide of 0 to 0.5 sec and change by inserting silence.

    Thank you
