    Hello

I have a problem with the display on my netbook.

The bottom is great for display and the taskbar are hidden under the bottom of the screen. (I can see it if I do a screenshot.)
I tried all the usual settings on the screen, but cannot get the background to fit inside the screen.

The driver is correct and I have the latest version of the bios update.
His problem a simple solution, but I'm kinda stuck so any ideas would be welcome.

    Thanks in advance.

  • Why some elements of the taskbar are grayed out?

original title: Vista 64 bit Home Premium got updated yesterday. Why some elements of the taskbar are grayed out?

    Hello.

Yesterday, I downloaded the updates from Microsoft Update. I use Vista 64 bit Home Premium on a Toshiba laptop.

I don't see the network icon in the taskbar.

When I right click on the taskbar, go to properties, Notification area tab: I see that Volume, network and power are grayed out. I can't select them. The only I can change is the clock to turn on or off.

Is there something I can do? No one else has used the laptop. Thank you.

It works again. Sometimes this happens and I don't know why.

I used my computer. I turned it off and now the missing things are back.

Thanks for the info, I didn't have to do it well.

  • Files to blackBerry Smartphones are frozen. BB TORCH

My BB Torch 9800 is facing a mess right now. I have downloaded some themes for my phone to customize. I don't check if its compatible with my phone. And after that I installed and use the themes I downloaded, other applications, and the files cannot be opened. My files are frozen except only text messages and media. I can't open up my options to change my theme and remove the one causing the problem. I tried to reset it. Both the way soft and hard reset it but its still the same. Only to make it worse, my phone seems to be easily in low battery. I tried to remove the theme on my computer but the themes can be seen here. I also tried to remove my memory card and insert it in the other phone. But the themes are not there either. Maybe the problem is in my phone memory. How can I solve this problem if the files are frozen? Please help me...

When you get a chance, do a battery pull.  When the red light goes on the front of the phone, hold down the back button all the time while the phone is in boot.  When initialization is complete, the phone goes into safe mode.

  • The process of My World blackBerry Smartphones are frozen

My world is frozen.  It is said that she is trying to install or download the 3 possibilities of use, but all processes are frozen.  Help, please.  I can't install new applications of AppWorld.

    Hello!

There have been some problems with the services of the AppWorld lately... most is supposed to be cleared up. Please try again. Also, please try to remove and re - install AppWorld... some have been reported to be useful.

Also try a hard reset of your BB: whenever random strange behaviors creep, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

If this does not work, then please come back on these forums (http://supportforums.blackberry.com/rim/) and create an account so that we can provide direct assistance.

    Hello

If the system is blocked, you may have to restart. If necessary, you can restart in Mode safe

What antivirus/antispyware/security products do you have on the machine? Be one you have NEVER
on this machine, including those you have uninstalled (they leave leftovers behind which can cause
    strange problems).

Vista and Windows 7 updated drivers love then here's how update the most important.

This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system.
For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver,
Description, version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now, click on update
Driver (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then right-click.
Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
    each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
    necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check
    manually by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

If you update the drivers manually, then it's a good idea to disable the facilities of driver under Windows
Updates, that leaves about Windows updates but it will not install the drivers that will be generally
older and cause problems. If updates offers a new driver and then HIDE it (right click on it), then
get new manually if you wish.

  • My graphics settings are frozen at high gamma...

This isn't a new issue I've had with Windows, and not a new number with this computer either... or even that game. This time, however, things are much more serious.

This all started when I've played natural selection and chose to break out using the console command in the game. The game crashed, which froze my computer. My first reaction was to Ctrl + Alt + Del and close hl.exe with the Task Manager, and who stopped the crash fine. The problem, I suffered was simple, and something I've seen before on other computers, other operating systems and with other games...
.. .the brightness and gamma of the display is stuck at the game level, which is much too high to be effective or healthy. If I load the game again, the settings in the game pile up on the current level, making it unplayable.

Previously, the best way I have found to solve the problem was simply to restart my machine. Windows XP would mysteriously graphics was set to the weird mode, fusion brain and solve the problem itself. Now, however, Windows Vista does not work.

    I tried:
    -Updated my drivers
    -Removing my drivers and resettlement
-Removing my drivers and their resettlement in Mode safe
-2 same steps as above, with the monitor drivers
-Deliberately crashing the game at very low brightness/gamma (to try to reverse the trend)

Fitness, this is not an option. I live in Australia and are not a lot of money, I have to volunteer. This makes buying a hard drive backup-hard. With several of my onling games bought and downloaded, as well as the system of internet cap preventing too download in a remarkable period, it would take about 8 months and more to reinstall my games.

My graphics card is a Nvidia GeForce 9600 GT. The Nvidia Control Panel PEUT compensate, but he can't do it once, do not do it well, and do not carry the settings in the games.

I really need a hand on this one.

Ok.  I'm not your graphics card name at first.  Try this out.  I have a friend how had to use the old 182.08 drivers for nvidia 9800 card.  After some research, he discovered that most recent drivers were more optimized for nvidia 200 series cards and had problems with the 9800 and below series cards.  This could be a possible problem that you are experiencing with the latest drivers.  If you can do as he did and use the drivers from nvidia 182.08 and see if it will fix the problem.  Try this and let me know if it helps.

I have a simple philosophy: just assume everyone is a piece of _ and then be pleasantly surprised if you find someone who is not.
