  Have you checked all virtual scrolling options? Make sure that the vertical and horizontal scrolling options are enabled.

  My laptop is Satellite C850, windows 7. It worked fine until I deleted some programs (like the spam cleanup). I know not whether that is related to my problem or not.   Updated my Inspiron 11 3137 to 10 Windows by doing a clean install.  I installed all the drivers from the Dell Support site for Windows 10 x 64, including the v19.0.15.2 Dell Touchpad Driver (A00) listed. I configured the touchpad settings as I had them in the previous OS - with 2 fingers of active scroll. It worked fine, but now has problems to win 10.

  Win 10, scrolling works fine in Google Chrome and Nitro pdf reader only (I've tested, at least). In Internet Explorer, and all of the 'modern' aka 'Metro' apps, scrolling does not work. When I scroll gesture, a small roll of type icon appears but nothing happens (see attached photo).  I tried to reset the touchpad settings and I tried to uninstall / reinstall the driver, without success.

  Suggestions?

  In case anyone else has this problem, I solved it by installing the driver for the Touchpad of Dell for Windows 8.1. Now, all scrolls, including Windows 10 apps and Internet Explorer.

  The version that works is v17.0.9.23 (A03) and is listed under 8.1 WIndows drivers.

  UM, to me, looks like you need configure the touchpad function.
  You can do this in Control Panel-> mouse-> device settings
  There should be an additional tab containing the options of touchpad

• Satellite L50 - B - lost touchpad pinch and scroll functions

  One day I realized that I had lost pinch and scroll on my touch pad functions. Do not know why.

  Try the following.

  First, download the installer of the Synaptics driver from the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

  Then, open windows control panel, open programs and features, right click on the entry of Synaptics and select uninstall.

  Once done, restart the laptop.

  When windows has completely recharged, open your download folder, click with the right button on the setup of Synaptics and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  When this has completed, restart the computer again.

  Hi, as I said just on the laptop as usual, but for some reason now the Touchpad will not Parade (but work the touch to click). And the lower bar disappears only when I'm on the internet chrome (chrome on his party, but still there on internet explore, but who wants to use the Explorer! lol).

  The touchpad settings can be changed in Control Panel-> mouse
  Here, you will have to go to the last tab advanced and click on the Advanced button.

  You should now get a menu with all the options available for touchpad.
  It should be an option called use scroll function. This should be checked/enabled.
