  Good morning/afternoon

  Last night, I tried to connect to my Windows Vista laptop.  At the time I didn't realize it but I entered the wrong password, instead, I thought I was trying to log using the wrong user.

  I have advanced and dial-up user log-ins and it was at that point that I realized that the password has been my problem from the beginning.

  Right now I wanted switched back to the user login, but the ability to "change user" is gone.

  The only way I can access this laptop is with this specific user login.

  Any ideas?

  It seems that if you somehow locked the system and when it is done it can only be unlocked by the user who has locked (which is why you see a log on option instead of a disconnect option and pushing the logon option gets you only to this one screen because it is the user who put in place the lock.)  This is normal and the way it's supposed to happen.  You can not change user if the system is locked by another user.  Once you login, you should be able to then go to the Start Menu and change user because the system is locked is no longer.

  If change username does not appear as an option in the start menu and the problem is not that the system is locked, then it may have become disabled.  Here is a procedure to re-enable the switch user option in the start menu if it's missing:http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/89939-fast-user-switching.html.

  If you want to change username (and don't mind close all windows for the current user, not), then you can press ALT + F4 and which will eventually wear a shutdown window.  Click the arrow next to the selected option and other options appear.  One will be to change username.  Select it and click OK.  The switch user should start.

  I tried to fix my personal account of OBIEE today and tried to remove me an applicaation role in enterprise manager and received the following error

  Open the file system-jazn - data .xml

  And by removing the additional entry manually

  So I deleted the following

  weblogic.security.principal.WLSUserImpl rodneyc

  Then when I went back to EM the user had gone as planned. I'm guessing that something screwed up in this file, but all right

  I use an external hard drive for my photos and import them into Lightroom running on my mac. I worked for a year on the wording of each photo to facilitate the search for key. Last month I started using a new mac computer and now when I go to Lightroom, my photos are gone and if I re - import from the external hard drive, the key text is gone. Left my key words, or is there a way to find them?

  Ok

  It is difficult to know how much you should do if your Group0 tab does not work. I would say that this deletion, and we can start over. -by deleting tabs, always remove the tabs (Sub) Standard before deleting the Parent tabs.

  For example, assume that:

  1 - your current default page template is "No Tabs"
  2 - your request has no tab
  3 - your app has no breadcrumbs
  4. you want relatives three tabs: Group0 and Group1 and group2
  5 - Group0 should have sub-tabs for pages 1, 2, 3 and 4
  6 - Group1 should only have a sub-tab for page 5
  7 - Group2 should only have a sub-tab for page 6
  8. When you click Group0, only the SubTabs for pages 1 and 2 are presented
  9. somehow, you're going to do something for the user to go page 2 page 3 page 4 or
  10. when page 3 or 4 is selected, The Group0 tab should show only the SubTabs for pages 3 and 4

  10. enter a label for the tab: page 1
  11 - click 'next '.
  12 - enter a tab of Page current: 1
  13 - click 'next '.
  14 let the sequence 10 and simply click "Next".
  15 ignore the parameters of Conditions and simply click "Next".
  16 - click 'create a tab.
  17 when the parent tab was created, click Edit next to him

  1 - Go to the shared components
  2 - Select the breadcrumbs
  3 - click 'create '.
  4 - Enter a name of breadcrumb trail: breadcrumb
  5 - click on 'create '.
  6 - Click «Create entry breadcrumb»
  7 - Enter (breadcrumb section) Page: 2
  8 - Enter sequence: 10
  9 - enter Shortname: Page 2
  10. Enter (target section) Page: 2
  11 check "Reset pagination for this page" If you need to
  12 - click 'create '.
  13 - again click 'create a breadcrumb entry '.
  14 - enter: (breadcrumb Section) Page: 3
  15 - enter the sequence: 20
  16 Parent entry entry: Page 2
  17 - enter the short name: Page 3

  20 - click 'create '.

  5 - Click on "Next" until the last confirmation page, and then click "Finish."
  6 - click on "Edit Page" to return to page 3
  7 then go to page 4 and repeat this process

• The user profile Service service has no logon. User profile cannot be loaded. Then I deleted my user profile in safe mode, and when I connected, all the files in C:\users\(old users name) are all gone

  2. I couldn't connect, it says that the service user profile service does not logon. User profile cannot be loaded.
  3. Then I deleted my user profile in SafeMode by doing: 'make right click on computer - properties - settings - advanced - user - deleted my old account profile settings '. There is no option for me to "keep my files."
  4. Then I managed to connect, I guess having creates a default user account? Because there is a new folder in C:\Users\, called (former name). (old name) - PC. In C:\Users\(old name), it is empty.

  Now, all my original files are gone because I deleted my old user profile. The size of my c: drive-has not changed much, so I guess all my files are still in only my computer, it's just that I can't find their "PATH". How could I get re-navigate to all my files? I need them so badly.

  You can try to fix it with Safe Mode - repeatedly press F8 as you bootup.

  I have 3 user accounts on my welcome screen which is admin. normally, I click on my own account. When I made the other day all my desktop icons went I have all the documents, pictures, etc. I though I had lost them up to what I went to c/users/selected my user account and everything is there.   I tried to restore to an earlier date that did not work.

  When you create a new user, the directory will not present until you connect for the first time this new user.  The fast way so disconnect and connect under the newly created user.  After that, the folder would be present.

  The way alternative copy of the files on an external drive and copy then back also works, but there are also that you connect as long as this new user to do this.

  The top of the default user folder account Security page is [heart] to this user and administrators only (that's why the lock symbol).  You should be able to bypass this security, if you are signed in with an account that has administrator privileges.  Otherwise, you will need to log on as the owner of this folder, right-click on the folder-> Security (tab) and change the security to allow access by other users.

  To change your new tab page, try the following:

  1. Type of about:config in the address bar of Firefox
  2. Locate the browser.newtab.url string
  3. Change the value to the URL of your new desired tab page or the default about:newtab page
  4. Restart Firefox

  That should change your the new tab page. If this isn't the case, please let us know.
