My version of Photoshop CS3 cannot convert tiff to jpeg files

I bought Creative Suite CS3, including Acrobat 8.0 professional.  I have transferred my CS3 to a new windows 7 Professional 64 bit PC and has done so with the help of an officer of Adobe.  All the programs launched OK. As a first step, the software would not be registered, but previous forums has shown a work around... the screen recording said essentially no connection to the internet... so after some research, I spent that.

But Photoshop won't give me the possibility to convert TIFF to JPEG formats... files menu option is no longer visible.  AND Acrobat 8.0 launch so well I can convert MS word/Excel files to PDF formats, I can't use Acrobat Distiller/Acrobat 8.0 to combine several PDF files open in a PDF doc... Suspect it's a problem of software upgrade...  Is it?

Change it to 8-bit/channel and then check out.

I downloaded a version of Photoshop CS3, but they did not have a serial number.  Without thinking, I watched a serial number on the internet and typed in it, to discover that what I did would not legal.  So my question is, is it legal to do so or not?

    Hello

That would depent on the serial number you used for the software if it is legitimate or not. Serial number of Photoshop or license keys are sold so if you found by searching on the site then plussusceptibles is not a genuine serial key that would mean its ilegal.

However, when I open them in a photo viewer, or email them, they become desaturated. With the help of Windows 10. Anyone know why that would happen? It does not occur when I change a JPEG image. This happens only when I edit a raw in LR, then export to ch and, further editing and change the TIFF to JPEG file type.

Thanks for the reply. I have actually managed to do work. I had my work instead of 16 or 8-32 bit/channel value. Once I changed it to 16-bit/channel, he gave me the possibility to register under the registered name. Thanks again.

  • Problem upgrade version Adobe Photoshop CS3, to Photoshop CS4.

Hi, hope someone can help, Adobe does not support older versions of Photoshop apparently...

I had Adobe PS CS3 installed on my laptop wife.  But his HARD disk was giving problems, so I've migrated the o/s to a new hard drive to SSD.

Now, I install the software back, I have successfully installed Adobe Photoshop CS3 and recorded it, I then tried to install the upgrade for CS3 DVD:

Photoshop CS4, but it fails to insert the code. The code for the CS4 update is accepted OK but when it asks for the serial number for Photoshop CS3 already installed and registered, he said that this serial number is not recognized. I can't seem to work around this problem, and it is very annoying. I have received for the two versions and they were bought from reputable companys Unfortunately it was a few years ago, so probably no help now.

The last time that happened a few years back, I contacted Adobe who talked through the process that required a different number series and another method

I can not remember now.  I got this DVD upgrade for awhile and it's a shame if we are unable to make use.

I use Adobe CC on my desktop doesn't have is no need for that. But my wife likes the older versions of Photoshop.

appreciate if someone knows how to work around this problem, currently installed upgrading to CS4 trial version to get past the nag screen.

I'm having a problem with Photoshop CS3. The application starts successfully in its own, but as soon as I open a file any I immediately get the following message:

    Photoshop.exe - Application error

    Then, the application closes.

Other applications Adobe, in the Suite work perfectly well. I tried to uninstall/reinstall the software and I still get the same error.

I tried the number of Support from Adobe, but they will not help because it's CS3. Would like to have 4 or 5, but it is not possible for me right now.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes. but not too much information here.

Chris has already written about changing the default printer.

Go in Control Panel of Windows (I don't see what operating system you have). Search for devices and printers or printers. If the printer you are printing to is configured as default printer change that to a different printer as MS XPS Document Writer and make this defect.

Close it and see if that fixes the problem. This is a real problem for a lot of questions.

All you have to do when you're ready to print from PS is to choose which printer to use when the print window opens.

  • convert TIFF to JPEG

I exported from lightroom in tiff format images, now I would get their approval. The printer, I spoke to only works with JPEG files? This raises several questions, I lose the image quality? So then maybe I should be looking for another printer. If I can convert these files or should I just re-export again using jpeg settings?

    Thank you!

I beg of you. Yes, you may and no (warning, I'm not a lawyer) you do not have

to worry of how to protect you when you send images to a printer. He

logic to read the opinion in their contracts, but you will see that you

usually only give their license to print your image. I never watermark to

impression that he will ruin the impression but all my files that I send will not

Copyright metadata tags that Lightroom automatically generates if you set

the areas of copyright law (I use a preset on import for ensures that it is always)

and also use a customized in-camera comment also following along).

Who does not print of course but will remain embedded in the file. There is no

really a good point when you send files to the printer. They see millions of

images a day and will not really violent act (or especially

the relationship of trust they have with you) by copying your images.

Nikon said, the problem is with the Software Photoshop and Lightroom, but it's true, why the other cameras files work fine.

    Todd M. Galbrecht

You need Lightroom 6.0 or Lightroom CC 2015 at least to open the D7200 raw files. If you are using an older version of Lightroom, you can use the DNG format free version converter 9.0 or newer to create copies DNG that you can use with your old version of Lightroom.

Here is the version of Photoshop that I use...

    Screen Shot 2016-04-27 at 8.53.02 AM.png

Because you have CC 2014 on a Mac, which tells me that your OSX is probably 10.8 or less.

The updated Camera Raw, 9.5 causes this error due to a conflict with older versions of Mac OS x, and you go back to 9.4

Setup for 9.4 is in this technote: error: 'File not found' when opening JPEG files

So just follow the instructions and you should be fine.

  • Big TIFF to JPEG files

Hi everyone, my first post here.

I'm working on JPEG (about 6 MB) in Adobe LR and when I export my photos in TIFF files (16 bits, no compression - I may need tweaking on PS), they jump to more than 100 MB!

I think I understood that this happens normally with the RAW files, but my starting point here is JPG, so I really don't understand what is happening.

Also, when I change the resolution in the export window, it made no difference. How is that?

I need your help before my hard drive has a heart attack.

It has kind of wrong there JPEG and Raw file sizes are somehow 'normal' and other sizes are 'big '. In reality, it is the opposite: Raw and JPEG are highly compressed and uncompressed TIFF is closer to a "native" file for any image size. We are just freaked out by size uncompressed because we are not used to seeing them. It starts from a JPEG file is not serious... you always try to reconstitute the original uncompressed image content. If you start from a Raw or JPEG, and the content of the image is virtually identical, export a TIFF uncompressed for the same characteristics at the same time can produce files of similar size, regardless of the size of the original file are the sizes. As you export without compression, no gimmicks can be used to compress by color, pattern, etc. The ground is level, so that you get similar non compressed file sizes.

    Elvazur wrote:

You have to rework them should not be a concern, because Photoshop can open any TIFF Lightroom able to export. You can and should enable Zip compression for 16-bit TIFF files.

    Elvazur wrote:

Also, when I change the resolution in the export window, it made no difference. How is that?

Resolution only changes the size of the file when the dimensions of the physical image are locked. This is because the resolution is a ratio: there are both the ppi and the inches that are associated with. If you set the image to 1000 x 1000 pixels, but you attach to a physical measure such as in. or cm, then it's always going to be 1000 x 1000 pixels if you set it to 100 ppi and 300 ppi. It will take just less inches if you were to print it. If you want to get smaller when you reduce the value of the resolution of a file, you must also enter the physical size of the image. If you set the image size to 3 x 3 inches at 300 dpi, and then you change to 3 x 3 inches to 100 ppi, of course the physical resolution and the size of the file must fall in this case. In the export of Lightroom dialogue you'd that happen by changing the resize to fit W/H value between 'pixels' and 'in' or 'cm '.

Do not also forget that you two (I think?) the size just passing your original 8-bit to 16-bit export.
