My Win 7 said all the exe files that I download a virus and deletes it

No matter what exe file I try to download it appears and says that he has a virus and deletes the file.  Gives me no options to go ahead and run the case.

Niether win7 or IE will produce all this 'Virus '. msg... »

The only app that will produce a msg saying 'Virus '.... "is your application antivirus or third-party plugin that is built into IE.

  • Command to list all the hard files that are attached to a virtual machine

    Hi people,

I am documenting our infrastructure. I would like to a command that lists all the vmdk files and the virtual machine, they are attached. I'm sure that I've done it before, but I don't remember the command. Thank you

    in advance.

You could use Powershell and make a request to Virtual Center, if they are available:

    A basic example:

    SE connect-VIserver

    Get - vm | Select Name, @{Name = "VMDK disks"; {Expression = {$_ | get-harddisk | select filename}}

  • Why the html file that I downloaded from the internet will not open in Dreamweaver?

I tested other pages to index and their linked pages and they opened in Dreamweaver.  I applied the same steps to this file, but it still not open.  All of this linked pages / index associated is open in Dreamweaver, but not the index page itself.  When I double click on the index.html file, it opens in the browser and the links work.  If the file is damaged in any way can it be repaired?  I checked the index.css file, but I see nothing wrong with it yet.  Can the html or css file contain code that prevents the files open in Dreamweaver, and yet still be opened in a browser?

Of course, you have all the support files.

  • all the .exe files listed as secfile, the type cannot fix association; Vista

All .exe files are listed as type secfile on my daughter, running Vista laptop.  When you try to open any executable file, an error message is received "application not found".  I found several websites with the .reg files to fix the registry.  The problem is that none of the methods to enter the registry editor I've tried have worked, because it is also an executable.  I tried to reboot in safe mode to use the system restore and that will not open either.

    Any suggestions?

Replying to myself because I found the answer elsewhere: the association for .exe files must be "exefile".  "secfile" probably shouldn't exist, because nothing else seems to refer to it, but as I deleted the application there is probably no harm leaving.

So, for someone else in my situation, the solution is to assign to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.exe exefile.

If you do not have Open regedit, you can put this in a .reg file and double click it

    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.exe]
    @= "exefile".

  • I can remove all the exe. files?

Can I remove it safely? Remove all .exe files?

    Hello

1 download CCleaner here, install it and open and click on run cleaner.
2 remove everything in the \Downloads C:\Users\ (yourname) as necessary.
    3. start > all programs > Accessories > system tools > Disk Cleaner
    4. consider upgrading your hard drive.
5 find the virus that they can fill the free space on the hard drive.
    6 uninstall all unnecessary programs.
The Dotnetfx3.5.exe can be deleted safely. Do DELETE all .exe files, or it will mess up your Windows.
  • Cruzer v2.0 said all the lost files, then takes only 10% of 128 GB

Can I assume that you are referring to the Cruzer SecureAccess app?  If so, I suggest you:

    1. back up all your files on the hard drive of the machine.

    2. Once your files are backed up, remove all THE files and folders on the Cruzer.

    3. download the latest version of the SecureAccess.

4 copy the file downloaded in the Cruzer, and run it on the Cruzer.

    5. copy your video files to the Cruzer Next SecureAccess files.

Everything does not have to be secure. IMO

  • problem with the htm file firsefox document, becomes it removed and deleted

I have a white screen which displays the file as 'file:///C:/Users/Mark/AppData/Local/Temp/Magentic/Mag3075.htm', is unable to get rid of it, can someone give me a simple step by step direction to remove it and get out of my computer, the magnetic program has been removed, but still have files, this isn't one of them.

First make sure you can see hidden files/folders by going to start / Control Panel / folder Options / view and check the box show hidden and system files.  While there, also uncheck to hide extensions of known file types (this will be useful to you later).

Go to http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902.aspx and get Autoruns and run it to check your startup items.  Search for this file.  If you find it, delete it or uncheck the box allowing it to boot at startup.  Will not get rid of the file itself, but it must stop the logon dialog box (a step in the right direction).  Restart after you did it to see if it still appears.  If so, return here after having tried other options that follow.

Now open Windows Explorer and go to that location and select the file and click on delete.  I guess you have tried this and it didn't work.  It gives you an error message when you try?  What is the EXACT text of this error (including all codes)?

Try to use one of the following free products to remove the file/folder.  Unlocker to: http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/System-Miscellaneous/Unlocker.shtml or file Assassin http://www.malwarebytes.org/fileassassin.php (with or without forcing the deletion: http://www.mydigitallife.info/2008/12/27/force-delete-cannot-delete-locked-or-in-used-files-or-folders-with-fileassassin/). These programs often work when normal functions remove Vista not work correctly.

If you are unable to file (getting an "Access denied" error while trying to to navigate on this one), you will need to change the permissions for folders and files to give you the permissions of all rights, even appropriating. You may need to go to advanced to check special permissions to see if there is any restrictions there including inherited properties of parent folders). Here are some instructions on how to do

To view your permissions, right-click on the file/folder, click Properties, and check the Security tab.  Check the permissions you have by clicking on your user name (or group of users).  Here are the types of permissions, you may have: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/What-are-permissions.  You must be an administrator or owner to change the permissions (and sometimes, being an administrator or even an owner is not sufficient - there are ways to block access (even if a smart administrator knows these ways and can move them - but usually should not because they did not have access, usually for a very good reason).)  Here's how to change the permissions of folder under Vista: http://www.online-tech-tips.com/windows-vista/set-file-folder-permissions-vista/.  To add take and the issuance of right of permissions and ownership in the right click menu (which will make it faster to get once it is configured), see the following article: http://www.mydigitallife.info/2009/05/21/take-and-grant-full-control-permissions-and-ownership-in-windows-7-or-vista-right-click-menu/.

To resolve this problem with folders, appropriating the files or the drive (as an administrator) and give you all the rights.  Right-click on the folder/drive, click Properties, click the Security tab and click on advanced and then click the owner tab.  Click on edit, and then click the name of the person you want to give to the property (you may need to add if it is not there--or maybe yourself). If you want that it applies to subfolders and files in this folder/drive, then check the box to replace the owner of subcontainers and objects, and click OK.  Back and now there is a new owner for files and folders/player who can change the required permissions.  You can change now switched to read-only (even if the main folder indicates that they are always read-only - you can access yourself as the owner).  You can keep them in read-only to other users, customers and administrators even (although they can support themselves and access, if they wish, and it is really not that you can do to stop it except protect the file with a password by using a 3rd party product.)  Here is more information on the ownership of a file or a folder: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/67717-take-ownership-file.html.  To add take ownership in the menu of the right click (which will make it faster to get once it is configured), see the following article: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/add-take-ownership-to-explorer-right-click-menu-in-vista/.

Once you have the appropriate permissions and ownership if necessary, you should be able to delete the file normally or with one provided above both programs.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

  • When I try to download anything, I get the error message that it contained a virus and was deleted.

I even tried to download malware and I get the same error message

    Hi CarmenMcNamara,

To provide the proper resolution, I would need more information on your side.

    1. what anti-virus software do you use?

    2. what web browser do you use?

If you use Internet Explore then you can try the methods provided.

This problem may occur if the downloaded file is not enabled in Internet Explorer or if antivirus software is blocking the download.

    Method 1:
I suggest to activate the download of the file in Internet Explorer and check to see if it helps.

    a. close all Internet Explorer or Windows Explorer Windows that are currently open.

    b. Open Internet Explorer by clicking Start, and then click Internet Explorer.

    c. click the Tools button, then Internet Options.

    d. click on the Security tab , click Internet, and then the custom level button.

    e. scroll down to category of downloadsand the download of the file to Activatevalue.

    f. click OKand then click Yes.

Now, try to download and check if that helps.

    Method 2:
If the problem persists, I suggest to optimize Internet Explorer and check.

    How to optimize Internet Explorer
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/936213/no

Note: Reset the Internet Explorer settings can reset security settings or privacy settings that you have added to the list of Trusted Sites. Reset the Internet Explorer settings can also reset parental control settings. We recommend that you note these sites before you use the reset Internet Explorer settings. Also, the photos and the videos do not work in any Add - ons.

    Method 3:
If the problem is not resolved, you can disable the antivirus software and the firewall installed on the computer, and then try to download.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/turn-Windows-Firewall-on-or-off

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/disable-antivirus-software

Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you do not disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network during the time that your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

You want to use F11 to access the option to restore it if your hidden partition has been deleted. Otherwise if the hidden partition is gone, you can buy the restore disc to restore your system to factory-installed.

What version of Windows you are running on the computer?

Method 1: Run the fixit available in the links below and check if that makes a difference-Worth to try
Difficulty of broken desktop shortcuts and common system maintenance tasks

Note: FixIt would attempt to recover bad sectors on the hard disk, in the course of this process there are chances of DATA loss from that particular area.

Important This section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. That may mean the iPod has a hardware problem, such as a faulty hard drive or the logic board.

When you do a Reset (press and hold the Menu and Center buttons), going blank at the start before the Apple logo returns the screen to the iPod?  Or do you mean that the Apple logo is 'stuck' and it doesn't go away when you try of the reset?
