my Windows Vista basket is still empty, no files stored or visible

In my view, it is a common problem, but I can't find the solution. I don't know what are the details that will be useful, but the details of my computer (for the most part of which I know nothing) are:

Windows Vista Edition Home Premium

The processor is the processor AMD Athlon (tm) Dual Core 4050th, 3.00 GB of RAM memory

NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForcee 430

Service Pack 2

eMachines ET1161-07

32-bit operating system

Thank you for your help and your patience.

  • Problems restoring 64 bit Windows Vista - sfc/scannow still find things to fix even if run multiple times in a row

I had a hard drive failure; However, the operating system has been on another disk, a 250 GB SSD. After replacing the faulty discs, I tried to move Windows Vista 64 bit to a larger 512 SSD concert. I keep running into problems with these efforts. To verify that the 250 GB SSD is clean and ready to be moved, I run the sfc/scannow in SafeMode with network. I run several times now and each time he claims to have found corrupt files and fixed them.

This is evidence of a virus or other malicious software?

I try to avoid formatting the drive and having to reinstall all software.

    Hi Jason & florencedefermartel,.

You can check the manufacturer's website and try to update the Chipset and drivers display and check.

You can see the manual of the system manufacturer or contact the system manufacturer for more information on how to make the changes in the BIOS.

Note: Change to the BIOS/complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) settings can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the configuration of the BIOS/CMOS settings can be solved. Changes to settings are at your own risk.

  • I have Windows Vista, can not connect, is the file 'another user '.

Hi, I have Windows Vista Ultimate Edition.

my computer restarted somehow while I was with her and now the only way I can connect is a folder named "other users". It asks me a username and password but I don't know what it will be. How can I solve this problem?

    Hello

Try the methods here, but not exactly the same question that they should help to correct yours.

Your files must be accessible by any ADMIN account in C:\Users if necessary to migrate
    to another account.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You can try to fix it with Safe Mode - repeatedly press F8 as you bootup. The ADMIN account in trunk
Mode has no default password (unless someone has changed the password so it should be available).

Some programs such as the updated Google (if you added the toolbar Google, Chrome or Google Earth)
has been known to cause this problem.

Use the Admin account hidden to lower your user account APPLY / OK then wear again to

    above message.

You can use the hidden - administrator account to make another account as an ADMINISTRATOR with your same

    Hello

    ·        What are your system specs?

    ·        How you try to install windows vista on the system? After the start of the desktop?

    ·        What is the exact error message that you experience when the system hangs during the installation?

I suggest you to disconnect all external devices that are connected to the system such as (printers, scanners, etc.) and see if the problem is resolved.

This occurs mainly, if the system (hardware or software) is not compatible with the operating system that you are trying to install on the system. I suggest you to format the partition in which you try to install Windows Vista, and then check if you are able to install the operating system or not.

    Hello

1 did you changes to the computer before the show?

Try the methods provided below and check if the problem persists.

    Method 1:

If you can't find a file you're looking for, it could have been recorded in or moved to a different folder than you expected, or the file had been sent to the trash.

You can start the search for the file by using the search folder, but you can also get the file by inspecting folders where you think the file is likely to be.

  • Upgrade of Windows 8 results in 0kb (empty) scan files, Officejet Pro 8500 A910

It's totally weird.  I used my printer wide for analysis while on the original install on Windows 7.  I always use the touchkeyboard of 8500 and "scan to network folder" and put in a file name.  After 8 of Windows Installer, I get the name of file in my directory, but the pdf file shows 0kb and will not open.  I installed the new driver.  I ran the 'Scan' doctor and he says that everything is OK.  Printing works fine.  I'm on a wireless home network.  Scanning to a device memory works OK and scan using the HP printer Assistant works OK.

Earlier, I tried scanning a doc 4 page to my folder of network again.  I'm not usually in my monitor when scanning, but this time, I noticed that the 0 KB file, with my correct file name, appeared in the designated scan Directory before the end of the analysis.

I don't do this.  I really don't know what to look for.

The only thing I can think of at this point would be an another full uninstall, but this time go in Program Files and program (x 86). Once you are in each file, remove the HP folder. Then, access devices and printer and make sure that the printer is not yet listed under Server properties. Then, run a registry cleaner to clear the odds of a room be left behind. Finally, restart the computer and try to reinstall the printer. Let me know what happens.

  • In a configuration of dual boot Vista/Vista, where are the operating system files stored in another copy of Vista?

In one, the operating system is in the C:\Windows folder. Where the operating system is stored on the 2nd partition?

    Hi BDTT.

If you have installed the Windows vista operating system in a dual-boot on two partitions Setup then you find another folder Windows in the second disc of the partition.

    For example: C:\Windows and D:\Windows.

When you start in any partition the root drive letter would change to the C:\ drive.

    I hope this helps!

  • Windows Vista says disk is empty when it is not

I've been watching photos to a hour drive today when all of a sudden windows from the disk of thought was empty. When I went to the file management bar to my dvd, CD-ROM drive was almost to the end, indicating that the disk is almost full (and not empty), but the bar was red instead of the normal blue. I have another copy of the disc, so I got that one. Once more after watching it for about 30 minutes, the photos have disappeared and he told me to drag items to burn. I tried all the fixes on the internet (regedit, uninstall/reinstall, update driver), nothing works. The disks have been created on this computer and work well on other computers. Just stopped working on this one.
