my wireless keyboard 3000 MK intellitype pro 7.1 using windows xp keys will stick and run
I just installed a MK 3000 wireless keyboard and mouse, sometimes just by typing a letter/character will repeat until the field is full, or that I managed to stop it.
I also had to disable "standby" mode, it will now go to sleep that has be stopped in order to make it work again, uable to wake up.

Title of MU days all of this. Has got around the installation of the material above, downloaded updates from the MS site, but Windows 7 64 bit still says there are compatibility problems. Read the other responses on the forums, but in fact, it seems to be a problem unsolved for others too.

For now, you can uninstall the drivers for keyboard & mouse from the Device Manager and restart the computer that will install the default drivers for keyboard & mouse and check if it works.
1. type devmgmt.msc in the search box start and press ENTER.
2. in Device Manager, expand the mouse & keyboard listed in the list of devices.
3. right click on the driver > click on uninstall.
4 restart the computer. The drivers will install automatically.

Recently my v2 Micrsoft Wireless Keyboard 3000 began to scroll to the bottom of any screen, I'm in (Windows Explorer, web browser, Excel, etc.). I know that it is the keyboard because I removed the battery and the problem ceased to exist. I also plugged a wired USB keyboard and I don't have the problem of scrolling/paging-down with it. any ideas? I tried to reinstall the driver already.
As it happens on several computers, I am prepared to say that there is a problem with the keyboard itself and has nothing to do with Windows.

keyboard & mouse freeze after the mode "sleep", using Windows Vista 64 home premium. I received once posted this question, an answer of "fix" to a thread that has worked. I have the latest version of Itunes and intellitype pro and Windows 7 64-bit.
They keys seem to work perfectly well with Windows media player, but not iTunes. ITunes is also set as the default program for music.
I also tried the solution involving a file called mmkeys.dll, and put this file in the material master record of the ins.
Before when I had vista 32 bit and an older version of intellitype pro, I change songs, pause, stop, at any time, even when running full-screen programs. Once I upgraded however, it stopped working.
Please help, this is really boring.
As the keyboard works very well with Windows Media Player, and it does not work with iTunes, so maybe that's a problem with iTunes installed on the computer.
You can try uninstalling iTunes and reinstalling the latest version of iTunes on your computer and check if that helps you.

I just upgraded my MS Comfort Curve 2000 to a Logitech G11 keyboard. Multimedia keys work correctly with Intellitype Pro 7 is installed, but I need this more. Have installed the Logitech software but when I remove ITP 7 on my G11 multimedia keys stop working. I tried several times and they won't work with ITP 7 deleted.
What is ITP 7 to my XP Pro SP3 system to stop the multimedia keys when ITP is removed.

I used the HP Laserjet Pro cm1415fnw for over a year without problem. When I first bought the unit, I was using a Dell with Windows XP desktop computer and connected to the printer via the USB port. I was able to print and scan from my computer, even in applications that use the driver scan TWAIN such as Word, Acrobat, etc.
I've since upgraded to a HP slimline s5-1160 computer using Windows 7. I installed the software my installation CD Laserjet is no problem. The printer is connected to the computer by USB port. I can continue to print without problem. However, I am is no longer able to scan using the HP (HPscan.exe) software, or applications that use TWAIN scanning driver such as Word, Acrobat, etc. When I try to do, it takes a lot of time before he asks me which scan TWAIN driver to select. When I select the MFP from HP cm1410 series, the program hangs or returns to the State wherever it was before I tried to scan a picture in a document from the program.
I can scan however successfully using the Wizard Windows Scan / Fax or if I choose "Devices and printers" in the Start Menu and select 'Start scan' in the menu after right-clicking on the HP printer icon. However this option restricts my use of the scanner - I can't scan to PDF and I can scan several pages in an OCR application. I have to analyze on a JPG or TIF or PNG.
What to try to solve this problem, I did the following without success:
- Uninstall and reinstall the drivers and software complete (and using the most recent version on the HP site)
- Change ETIOU USB ports
- Run the HP scan diagnostic utility, which seems to show an error to the WIA, scanning stage and then recommend that I have uuninstall and reinstall the full software. When I skip that and allow it to check for TWAIN scanning, it gives me a similar error, suggesting I use the latest version of the drivers (the driver that I use is v 3.0 dated 12/11/2009) so in this case the utility of diagnostic scanning HP provides NOT a fix for this problem other that uninstalling and reinstalling , which I did several times without success
- Contact HP support for the computer and the all-in-one (which as I understand it there's different support staff). Staff of the printer claims it's a software problem and that the staff of the computer must be able to resolve the issue (something not having "launchpad" installed correctly. When I communicate with the staff of the computer, they say it is a printer driver problem. So I'm at a standstill
- I studied the HP support forums to see from this link - http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c02661093 - if you can't scan from software HP you can use programs that rely on WIA (Windows Fax and Scan) drivers that I already know I can do it, but implies that HP doesn't have a solution to find out how to scan using their own software!
My gut tells me that he is one of those problems that many others perhaps, but for which there is no viable solution. It is possible that during the uninstall and reinstall the software, remains can stay behind that prevent the proper functioning of the drivers, but without knowing how to "clean up" specifically those remains before you reinstall the software, I am at a loss. Oh and by the way, I also tried using CCleaner and Norton Registry Cleaner to try to clean up these remains, but that effort did not help.
My question is basically this... or does anyone know of a fix for this problem should I resign myself to use the Wizard Windows Fax and Scan to scan documents and pictures, and forget about using TWAIN programs like HP seems to suggest? I think that because I use a HP printer/scanner and a HP with Windows 7 computer, this problem should NOT be a problem!
Follow the steps below to check the WIA Service:
1. type services.msc in run or search and files program
2. scroll the page up to the WIA Windows Image Acquisition
3. make sure that the service is running. Click on stop and then restart to ensure
4 restart the computer
Restart the services of dependencies:
1. Click Start, in the search box type 'service ' without quotes.
2. scroll down until you see Windows Image Acquisition (WIA).
3. double click on it and go to the Dependencies tab.
4-2 services must be listed.
5. close this window and look for the remote procedure call (RPC).
6. make sure it's on manual or if it is enabled automatically, just leave it. Make sure the service is started.
7. go to hardware detection kernel and Double click.
8. set the Startup Type to manual and click on apply.
9. you should be able to start the service by pressing Start.
10 now, you are done and the Twain Manager must work and gives you is not a mistake.
Check the dependencies or sous-dependances:
Right-click WIA (Windows Image Acquisition) by selecting the first Properties , and then click the dependencies tab. It should list: remote procedure call and Detection of Harward Shell

You will need to do a clean install, there is no place on the way to upgrade Windows 7 32 bit to 64 bit.
Using the disk of 64-bit Windows 7, install Windows 7 Windows Easy Transfer Utility from the DVD (to find it, simply navigate to x:\support\migwiz, "x:" is the name of your hard drive. (In this case, you will see a collection of files, the important"that you must search for and double-click is 'migsetup'.) run it and create a DAMP (Windows Easy Transfer file), if you have an external hard drive, you can access it later when you perform a clean install of Windows 7 64-bit disk so you can stored there.
Once you have done this, just do a clean install of Windows 7 64 bit disc. In Windows 7 64 bit disk, start Windows Easy Transfer, follow the wizard screen, tap on which is stored the WET file (external hard drive) and it will restore your personal files and settings. Reinstall the applications needed.
Boot from the DVD 64 bit Windows 7
Click Install now

When the option is displayed to select a type of installation, click (Custom advanced)
Select the disk partition where you want to install Windows 7 click Next.
You will receive the following warning:

I tried re-indexing Spotlight coincidentally, I found on the forums - who did not.
I tried a terminal command that I found on the forums - that didn't work.
There is no way that I used half my 120 gig storage just by turning on the machine...
To determine what you have on your MBP, download OmniDiskSweeper and Grand Perspective (both free) Internet and open them. They will show all your files and respective sizes. Transfer to an external HARD disk or remove files, that you no longer want on your MBP.
Don't forget to empty the trash. Then only the space is allocated for the new data.
Addendum: The program that produces the screen in 'about this Mac' has a bug inside. It's not not to be approved for accuracy. Usually, but not always, a Spotlight re-indexing will correct, but not in your case.
