Mystery of the interference sawtooth with all networks

Airport Extreme is powered over ethernet AT & T 2Wire modem/router.

I have 2 nest webcams set up and find that they would sometimes display warnings of "weak wifi signal.

So I got the Explorer Wi Fi app to try to see what was going on and optimize my network.

I was able to find an optimal route for the AE 2.4 ghz network, but I always get warnings 'weak wifi signal' nest occasionally.

I found that when I opened Internet Explorer and let it run for a bit, the display will sometimes appear a "Sawtooth" pattern where all networks in my area (except I used) would PASS for 10 seconds, then come back for 10 seconds, then down, then come back.

It goes sometimes for 3-4 minutes, sometimes for 30 minutes or more.

Any time of day is not noticeable type.

Happens on all channels and it seems to knock out 5GZ and networks. (at least, he knocks out them to the Wi Fi Explorer...)

Contact support to the Wi Fi Explorer and sent screenshots, thinking it might be a common problem.

Response was that it was never seen before, perhaps a HD external wonky somewhere?

I have unplugged and off to any external hard drive.  No change.

Unused, no wireless microwave phones.

At first I thought it might be a microwave oven in use, cycling on/off heating/defrosting/cooking etc, but it happens when I know that my neighbors aren't home.

Clues as to what might be knocking out these signals of network in this type of model?

If your wifi can not reach the nest with reliability you may move the access point or create a different network / extend the network with an another AP, see if the displacement of the AP help questions.

I have to wonder if the wifi card is in "scan mode" which requires to change the frequency, I think that could produce a model like that because the network is only on a part of the spectrum. You have all the other apps that can cause the wifi card scan or is the wifi actively seeking a card networks?

I don't know what is the reliability of this app is or what evidence it does.

Each color is a different network? What is the Brown line? What is your network?

Obviously using several wifi applications may cause problems then run only one at a time.
