N Alvorix-RS880-formfat (Alvorix) motherboard

I'm having a problem with the computer restart randomly under heavy load, sometimes even a light load. I narrowed down it to a short circuit in the last two RAM DIMMS #3 or 4 or both. I would like to replace the MB with little or no change of material other than the MB.

I can't find a link to buy a replacement for MB, an idea? Or is there an another MB that will work with the operating system and hardware I have?

Any help and advice is greatly appreciated.

Yes, it seems that everything should play nice. The CX600 Corsair is known to fit the cases most, HP consumer computer office, of which your p6654y and it is strongly recommended. The AMD HDX850WFK42GM is a processor of Deneb TDP of 95 watts, so it should work on your computer. Geforce GTX660, while it is a little big, must match your computer... Make sure you just measure along the slot PCIe graphic for obstructions.

  • Adding a video card in a hp pavilion p6620f with a card mother n-alvorix-rs880-formfat (alvorix)

I want to replace the video edge in this computer with a video card. I want to use a card geforce n210 1 gb ddr3 pci express dvi/hdmi. Anyone know if it will work. It seems that this is what I see so far, but I'm not a computer person. I want to be able to put a tc in my TV and be able to play some of the new games.  Thanks for any help

    Hello

The graphics card must be a PCIE x 16 compatible (for the expansion on the motherboard slot) one. Geforce n210 will definitely work, because it's a pcie x 16 card compatible USB2.0. You have a desktop computer, then that means that any pcie 2.0 x 16 graphics card might work and it's always on your wallet and the power of the power supply.

  • Limits of the RAM for N-Alvorix-RS880-Μatx (HP p6650z)

I just got the p6650z - 4 gigabytes of RAM. It has 4 slots, and there are currently 2 sticks of 2 GB each. If I read the motherboard plug right ( http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c02560084), it seems that it can take up to 8 GB of RAM (for the 64-bit operating system) and can handle 4 concerts in each of the slots.

So your stay with 2 chopsticks 2 - gig, I could insert two 2 gig sticks more, or a stick more than 4 gig, but NOT 2 sticks of 4 gig again? I'm not a RAM expert by any means, but I'm just surprised that a mobo could handle 4 gigs of ram in a dwelling, but not in a second slot.

Or am I misunderstood something in this form?

    Yes, because:

Your computer uses only memory channel, configured as pairs A and B.  Each pair has 2 banks. Each pair must be matching.  If your motherboard is the N-Alvorix-RS880-formfat (Alvorix) you are limited to 8 GB max. You said two 2GB have been installed. You can add another two 2 GB of the same speed. That would be max on your Board to "N".  I don't see any need to purchase two 4 GB, and draw away the installed pair of two 2 GB modules. I hope it is clear to you, now.

The N-Alvorix-RS880-formfat (Alvorix) MOBO is limited to 8 GB.

H-ALVORIX_HF-RS880-Μatx MOBO is limited to 16 GB.

  • motherboard

I reinstalled a fresh copy of win7, but im struggling to find my update of the bios. Aida64 identifies as foxconn 2ab1 but there is no mention of this Commission in support of its motherboard ΜATX-RS880-H or N-Alvorix-RS880 Motherboard. Why does hp reename there boards and make it such a pain to find the drivers? How can I find the correct bios update? It will do harm to the FLAS both?

With the other number, it is certainly the card mother-N-Alvorix-RS880-formfat (Alvorix).

Usually the BSOD will give an error code, however, you did in fact not something on a BSOD before.  Is this new?  Can still access BIOS before the Windows splash screen.

    Two things:

    (1) see if the BIOS screen will go up by pressing ESC or F10

    (2) if so check to see if the BIOS displays the new info from the BIOS.  If you correct flashed, he must say version 6.07

  • How to install a replacement on my HP Pavilion p5357c motherboard?

I need to replace a faulty motherboard (like many of those who have bought with this pc motherboard) with the same brand and type of origin. The computer is a HP Pavilion p5357c and I find a way extravagant different information.

What is the exact error that you only had/get? Have you tried different data and records of power cables or a new power supply?

Many have suggested it is questions m/b, but most are resolved by replacing the HARD drive. Mothers only I know who may have known problems related to undetected drives are the HP/Pegatron M2N78 - LA series. Overheating possible and/or "cold welding" on the chipset.

Other motherboards that may have problems are the N-Alvorix-RS880-formfat (Alvorix) and IPMTB-TK (Truckee) motherboard, but not IPIEL-A3 (Eureka3).

NOTEnly Socket AM3 processors are supported with this motherboard.

    AMD Phenom II X 6 Six-Core (core Thuban) 10xxT

My question is, are there things I can do to upgrade this thing to run say, WoW smoothly? Or do I just start from scratch with a completely new system. Do not forget that I am not not looking for a machine mega as if I had. I just want to be able to play without lag even issues with the graphics set on low.

@lasvegaswireman already told you a new power supply with a GPU card decent.

As you WIN 7, the BIOS rev max is 7.16 (related to the operating system).  I did a quick support on the HD 4850. It is out of stock. This means that the MSI GTX 750Ti is an excellent choice because it has a legacy and UEFI micro-switch.  You need the legacy support.  MSI GTX 750Ti Newegg shows a 400W PSU.  NewEgg has these two elements.
