• Apple Watch series 2 protective case

  Hello

  Has anyone found a real Apple Watch S2 case? You are looking for a minimalist design, to display the watch itself without inhibiting its look, then perhaps a clear case (case bumper or other) will do.

  All cases online specify that they are cases Apple Watch S2, but look further into what they are not, as many of them do not account for the new air port (hole on one side, not two) and are also not the right depth, and cutting a port speakers are designed for S1 S2 not.

  You will need to protect my camera, I do use it in the gym a fair bit and worry about the damage.

  I had the same problem. As far as I can see, case or bumper for the AW 2 series do not exist. I talked to Spigen, catalyst and a couple of others and any sites third 3rd say... manufacturers confirm that their AW products are NOT compatible with series 2 Watch, and that they are working on it!

  All thoughts of good screen protectors? !! They would be compatible? Some protection is better than nothing!

• Graphic HTTPservice & amp; for loop

  I use a togglebuttonbar to navigate between the 3 separate linecharts, each display unique data. My problem is with my current code only the last chart shows all data. Whenever I have change which chart is finally displayed is always the last chart which displays correctly.

  So, who should display 3 cards, each with two lines. Notice that the httpservice calls the same piece of XML code for each graph, but Im showing only a few parts in the each individual card. (for example, the xml file has: APPLES, ORANGES, BANANAS a cahrt display apples next bananas, etc.)

  get the newChart object synchronously, but sometimes the data asynchronously.

  You need to store a reference to each instance of the child, perhaps in an array (object) associative, as it is created. Then in the result handler, assign the result to the appropriate chart.

  Probably need AsyncToken to match the call to succeed.

• 2910al - 48G Switch: problem with the VLAN

  Hi all,

  I write a new message because I don't know what is happening on my SW series 2910al - 48G and v1910 - 48G.

  I put on the main core SW VLAN 610 and I put to this VLAN IP addreess 100.110.10.1 24-bit etc and it worked fine until yesterday. I change only PLEASE and I enebale STP - loop protect for ports in the range 1-52. (now I rolback this settings as was before)

  Now, every PC that has for a long time what IP range 100.110.10.1 24-bit works fine, but new PC have problem with to get the new IP address. I tested it add a static and same address does not work.

  The problem was that solve this problem.

  I have blocked all ports. It was a problem. I change several settings and everything works well.

• Apple TV Remote broke right out of the box

  So I get all excited on my new apple TV.  While I'm implementing on the ground plug control box I put the remote on a chair next to me and hit the Chair and the remote hit the ground.  It had never been used and is now cracked.  How can we if fragile a remote control and how can a remote be half the cost of all the Apple TV system.  Just doesn't seem fair.  Guess I'm $ 70 for a new remote.  Is there another remote solution out there?  Is there a way to protect the remote control?  Could you please add a warning on the package so that people are aware of the fragility of this unit is?

  I see now after researching the topic that I'm not the first to this experience.  Please let me know if Apple will provide some form of compensation for this kind of accident.

  We are users like you here, for the most part, not Apple.

  You've been unlucky I'm afraid and there is really no different from a new iPhone drops and it cracking if you think about it - at least in this sense is not Apple fault so naturally, you don't want to drop a phone new or old for that same reason.

  I would be surprised if Apple would compensate you for being clumsy - I do mean that badly - I dropped my remote Siri repeatedly and were probably lucky that it won't break.

  Are you sure that the remote control has not been damaged before he fell?

  You can use an old silver AppleTV remote but it would not have the touch surface.

  Frankly Apple are a bit stingy are not - it would cost peanuts to provide looping protection with the remote control.  (The kind of things that you got with the free Wii controllers).

• Portege M750 with Windows 7 - Screen Rotation button not working not properly

  I installed new Windows 7 on a Portégé M750 and everything seems fine except the buttons on the screen to manage the features of the tablet. The only thing I really want to work is the orientation of the screen one. I looked for drivers, but can't find anything in order to control the tablet buttons. I read that for the M700 you need to download the driver for the Tablet because it contains the drivers for the buttons, but there is no driver for the M750.

  All devices are ok in Device Manager with no need of drivers.

  Any thoughts/ideas/suggestions are welcome.

• problems with rs-232

  first of all, I must say that I am new to Labview and so I would like to apologize in advance if my questions are too stupid! I have a problem with my thesis project.

  I have to develop software for the acquisition of data from one account (METTLER TOLEDO BBA422) using the rs-232 serial port. I have to make the program wait for entry of the operator (he must press a button on the scale), and then the balance passes a string through the serial interface.

  I tried to use the VISA to be able to read the data, but it seems impossible to read anything of the instrument; I used to set up, reading and close series loop of VISA within a certain time, but when I press keys nothing seems to happen.

  The configuration seems to be ok (2400 baud, 8 bit, even 7, XONXOFF)

  Do you have any suggestions?

• Parity errors &amp; read on Serial Port framing

  Hello, I am writing a program that reads the serial port IR thermometer. Intermittently I get parity so many framing errors and can't explain why or find a way to remedy. All the parameters of the series were double checked and controlled. I don't get any errors when you use HyperTerminal yet, when I do test bed in MAX, I see these mistakes from time to time. I tried the suggestions of the knowledge base for these as presenting a delay between the Visa set up and read the Visa or flushing buffer issue before reading, but none worked. Any idea or ideas would be appreciated.

  In addition, while searching through discussions on parity and framing errors, I saw a when a user recommends the following: "use wait event triggered by the stop character and when the error occurs, I just deleted the error, empty the buffer (wait the next stop character) and reread." If that sounds like a good solution, how would I go about its implementation?

  I've attached a screenshot of my reading series loop so you can see what I'm doing. I do about the error code control timeout is.

  Given that you have activated the stop character, you should not use the bytes to the serial port. You shouldn't have to delay or any function buffer flush.

  PS, You also have to change the way your loop exits.

• Failed to retrieve the system on a new hard drive

  Hi all

  I've owned a large Pavilion s5325UK that the last few months, threw up Smart new warnings on the disk may fail.

  Yesterday, I bit the bullet and paid for a new HDD to be brilliant.

  Copied all my user data etc. to offshore on an external drive OK.

  I got the system once before after a kidnapping missed an infection by the virus.

  Installed the new drive is a Seagate Barracuda 500 GB SATA 600 7200 RPM 16 MB 3.5 "

  The party went well past and that seems to be made of conservation treatment unit to restart.

  Windows cannot be installed on this material,

  Then it's a series loop of reboots everything ending in the same error.

  The old drive is a Western Digital Caviar Blue of the same size.

  The problem with the new hard drive.  I dropped on a XP Pro image and mounted the drive to an old pc from redundant and it starts very well even if I do not mind that install drivers etc chip that was only to check the disc.

  I'm a bit confused now as I have now tried the recovery process 3 right now with the same error at the end of each attempt.

  Make your own Windows 7 If installation media you can read all 25 characters of the product key of MS Windows 7.

  Here's how:

  If you can read the Microsoft windows 7 25-character product key, you can download simple Windows 7 ISO files to burn on a DVD for the version of windows that is installed on your PC, and which is listed on the Microsoft COA sticker on your PC case.

  Burn the ISO with the option to burn the ISO on your DVD burning program and burn it at the slowest possible speed that will allow your program. This will create a bootable DVD.

  Or use the installation of Windows 7 USB/DVD tool to compile the ISO file that you download from Digital River. Link and instructions below. You need a 4 GB flash drive to use the USB compilation method.

• Minimum time to wait in the loop of reading series

  I would like to ask if it is possible to read data from a serial port loop each 17ms? If so, how to read Serial and it management loop set.

  I'm the Arduino Uno card reading that can run on up to 115200 baud rate of kbs. Arduino sends each integral 17ms (0-3). Now, I can't read them separately (each part one by one, I get numers as 123, 231, 12, instead of 1, 2, 3 etc.), but this may be due to other stuff I do in the loop. I elaborate more on my VI later - now I would like to know if it is possible using LV 2011 + VISA read serial number of each 17ms. What bothers me the most is that I saw many times on this forum that people suggest of don't not to go below 10ms timeout in the Serial reading loop (same base series Read and Write provided in examples of or). If ms waiting loop of x, where x is 17ms divider?

  You hear that you read whole and not full? Send you one byte or more? If it is a single byte, then just define it as the number of read. Do not put in any function wait and do not use the VISA to the Serial Port bytes. Playback VISA will be automatically terminated when one reads a single byte. You send a terminator after the number? Waiting in the example has nothing to do with a constant data stream reading and with a terminator is completely useless.

• VISA series Loopback speed and precision with double loops and a queue

  I'm working on a test of communication between 2 PCs. I test communication series RS-422 ports by using a simple loop. PC2 wrote continuous data at 38400 baud to PC1 (LabVIEW test code is here). PC1 reads the data and writes the data to the same port as soon as possible. PC2, reads the data and compares to what should be returned. I can get the highest speed is a speed of about 37300. Because it is continuous, finally that I get an error because the buffer overruns (read and write buffers are 65KO).

  It seems that VISA writing takes a lot longer than the VISA read. I do read/write asynchronous operations. I've read a fixed amount of data (1024 bytes) and then queued data to write in another loop. My timeout is set to 0.5 seconds, which is much time opf at 38400 baud (4800 bytes/second). I played a bit with these numbers, and they are the best I can get. If I increase the data read to 2 KB, the queue members increase. If I'm going too low, I start getting the data in the input buffer overrun.

  Anyone had experience with this type of test? The code is attached. Please take a look and see if I'm doing things correctly.

  I do not know if this explains a gap between what you expect and what you found in 0.8 seconds, but you have added another level of complication in using the digiboard.  You don't have a real serial port, but a simulated serial port which is hung at the end of a USB bus.  The digiboard software creates a virtual experiences, and so its driver software and firmware on the side of the Board of Directors of the USB bus must manage some translations to go a number of compote, transfer on the bus and decode the Compote number so that it knows which 8 physical ports that it must send the message to.  You can see delays in translation at each end so something in the USB itself Protocol where it needs group information.

  If you have another, a different brand of the serial ports, you can use, you might want to try one of these to see if you get similar or different results.  But I don't think it's a good idea to try to test the limits of a serial communication device using hardware that adds the other layers of the communication protocol and therefore complicated results.

• Series of reading and DAQ in same While loop

  I have a while loop that has a DAQ reading and a reading series of VISA.

  DAQ readings slow while loop for series com & therefore the iterative nature of the measures to constantly check byte-by-byte (for the full range of the code: 22 bytes) does not work. (it will check 8 bytes, 24,.. etc. because more bytes is collected in a buffer before it can browse new loop.)

  Is it possible to synchronize these two data acquisition devices?

  Data acquisition speed is fast enough, so if there is a way to keep the series bytes in a queue and take only the first 22 bytes for every while loop iteration?

  I recommend having separate loops of data acquisition and reading series.  If you simply connect the latest value, the local variable is great for sending to playback in series to the other loop for logging.

• Reading loop DAQmx only reaches the speed of Communication series

  This is my first post in this Forum. I have a program with 4 loops, 2 separate and 2 connected by a queue. The first loop (see attachment loop PID) runs at maximum speed, the second a (serial communication) works at maximum speed (very slow because of the speed of series).

  To find the error I deleted from the queue to get 4 separate loops. The loop with the calculations (calculate loop) now also runs at the maximum speed, but the analog read loop just past the loop of serial communication speed. On the inside of the Sub - VI is just the configuration for the DAQmx with internal sampling. I have no connection between the loop of serial communication and analog playback loop. Is it possible that the DAQmx is slowed down because of the serial communication? Serial communication also uses a windows DLL.

  Thank you for your quick response. I found the answer, I guess that: I deleted the Subvi and the use of the DAQmx in the loop directly, it has worked. I think that the Subvi took too long because of the additional options to run at 1 kHz.

  For routers, there is very little you can do on the back. If your connection is flooded or "breaks down", well, then the connection is flooded or fails. You have no control over what your ISP sends you or not. If your ISP sends a flood of traffic to your modem, then the connection is flooded. Your router will drop this traffic, but this does not alter the fact that the connection is flooded and your download rate will drop significantly.

  Therefore, generally your ISP will have to provide you with the necessary flood protection. You on your side cannot do something.

  In addition, the back of the general tries to interrupt the services you provide. A back attack against a web site tries to put down the webserver or at least flood of traffic so that no one can use it. If you plan to provide internet services back protection can be interesting come on your end. But even in this case, who have real is necessary if make you money from that and in this case you should not depend on consumer devices but get a company with a much better firewall device.

  So, to summarize, in my view you will have all the protection you need in a device of consumption as the E-series. I don't know what another router with "Protection of the back" you had in mind, but I sort of doubt that they are much different from Linksys or any other consumer router what...
