  I just installed a fresh copy of vCloud UM 3.2 and by setting the outgoing mail server field setting is not retained.

  My VMware is down now so I hope this e-mail you will get instead,

  There are two save buttons, I never noticed that directly under the host server field, port information and credentials.

  I kept clicking on one at the bottom of the page.

  I completely missed the middle of the page, could not see the wood through the trees.

  The wizard does not any part of the server names. I think you're confusing a label that simply States the type of server with the actual server name text entry (or more accurately, the address).

  Try this.

  1 delete the account if you already have it in place
  2. click on add account
  3. in the box enter your address and email password screen select the menu (top left corner)
  4. click on manual set up
  5. change of pop to EAS

  Something seems wrong with the NAT configuration.

  You forgot to hide the IP address on VLAN 2, that is your ip of the interface. (I'd edit the post and making it s.s.160.26).

  So, if your external interface ip,'s s.s.160.26, while NAT static (inside, outside) s.s.160.26 192.168.100.250 may not exist!

  You need to have something like:

  In addition, another suggestion I would give:

  Have the input access list outside_access_in extended ip allowed any one isn't safe. However, if you only use it to troubleshoot e-mail server problems, then it is fine. Remove in case of actual production.

  We have just set up a mail server on Amazon. I can send email from the fine command line. I can send and receive e-mail from a PC connected to the Amazon with Thunderbird field. I can receive e-mail from a PC outside the realm of server (Amazon) with Thunderbird mail, but cannot send mail. I always get an error in time-out to a PC outside the field of Amazon. The SMTP settings are identical between computers connected to different areas. All necessary ports are also open. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
