Nav background image does not display in some browsers...

Hello

I am trying to build a model of Web site - still ironing a few bugs, but just found out that the information in my navigation bar image does not appear on some browsers (including certain versions of Internet Explorer). It works in IE8 where my first test (on both my drive local and temporary 'live' server, but in most other browsers, does not appear...

Here is a link to my test page:

I'm having a problem using the slideshow module in LR 6.3. The slideshow contains the background image as one of the images to display. Earlier, I have created a slideshow of practice and the background image was not displayed as an image in itself. How to make it behave?

Another approach, perhaps a little more elegant (?). Create a collection that includes images for the slideshow. Include the background image in the collection. Drag the background image in the Panel to designate. Then, remove this image from the collection and create the slide show. I just tried and it works, too.

  • Impossible to change the wallpaper, the location of the image does not display images.

I'm trying to access my pictures folder and select a background for my office. But when I search for the location of the image and select the folder of the screen does not display images, even if the pictures are present in the folder. The screen shows only 'solid colors.
I moved to the location of my pictures, sounds and video to another folder. Then, the default folders are different.
In Explorer when I just click on the photos forlder ther is a location tab saying my it's the default folder.
    One last thing.
If I go to explore and navigate to the folder my pictures, right click on a picture and select 'Set as wallpaper', then it displays the content and the folder.

    I got it working again.
And that's a good reason to not mess with the registry.
I have used a tweak registry to hide the libraries in the Explorer navigation pane. Once I've restored it Windows seems to have found the files for my photos. I then re - hid libraries and everything seems to work ok.

  • Background image does not appear

I worked on my Web site recently, and in order to personalize it a bit more I added some background images to the cells. The problem is that the image does not appear in my browser. I tested background images of page too and nothing. It makes no sense. I select the cell, go to the properties panel, and then find a background image. Once I have select this one appears in dreamweaver, looking the way it is supposed to. After I downloaded the page, however, I check in my browsers, Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer, and the image is not there. All this shows is the background color of the cell or of the page, depending on the question of whether I make the background color of the transparent cell. I asked a few friends to view the page too to see if it is for them and they tell me that it is not for them either. Anyone know why this is happening? Oh I should mention I publish as an html file and I tried both .jpeg and .png file types. In addition, it's all in Dreamweaver 8. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

can't go up two levels of folders from there...

Also should avoid spaces in the names of files and folders.

copy of a previous post on this topic:

the style sheet link and especially images that you have placed have paths such as
    this:

../gifs/ means go UP one folder level, then into the folder named ">

The problem: the home.html file is at the level of the root of the public
space web is not not to attend. So all these paths are distributed on the
    downloaded pages.

My guess her site definition is set to the wrong folder level in the
    local and remote site.

The way it should be is the local and remote should be defined in the folder
that contains home.html. Use the 'Folder of the Site Local' button to select the
good record and the "host directory" If the folder level must be
adjusted on the remote control (such as you land in a high level of private accommodation
folder when connecting with ftp and need to go to one site files
folder named "public_html" then type public_html directory of the host
    the remote server info line)

  • Image does not appear in all browsers

On the homepage, just below of the "available soon dethrone" now has a command button. It seems that with Safari. I tried Firefox, Chrome and IE, and the image does not appear on one of these. The thing that annoys me is that the image was there before and worked fine, I didn't make it bigger and link, so I'm confused why all of a sudden it is not displayed.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I suspect that your image is not properly optimized for the web.  Open in Photoshop & press on file > save for Web.

In Panel of DW of files, the PUT option (up arrow) is used to upload files to your server.

  • Collection download background image, does not not on test app

I have my collection of top level of my test application with a background image to work. I am trying to add a background image to another collection in my application, and it will save, download and publish - However even after the update every time, the background remains white. Ebb in the parameters in the collection, the background image I made is transferred and is displayed correctly but is absent from the app.

I tried to upload an image to the size needed for the iPhone, I tried to download with the dimensions of 2048 and I tried to download the image I used for my first background at the highest level that always - works, but none have appeared on my app.

Is there a bug in the system for that? Is there another way to work the background image that I'm not aware, or has been updated to Digital Publishing Suite?

Have you turned on showing the background image in the layout that you use for this collection?

  • Background image does not fill the window full screen

Guys I have an image that is larger than the stage, but when I play this movie in the player, the background image is cropped on the sides, which is on the left and the right there is a margin gray about 2cm wide.

Any ideas how to solve this problem, then the background image covers the whole scene?

    Thank you.

I mean that you can not change the way that your swf is displayed unless you change the scene or display list objects.

If you want to change the scene to show all of your background, click Modify > document settings > select "fit to content" for the size of the stage.

I have a few nested divs and I am trying to place a background image in one of them. Sometimes it will work, and sometimes he used. I am very confused as to why. The background image is located in a folder called/images

  • Site does not work in some browsers

I transferred my site via an external ftp host.

It works in some browsers, such as Explorer 10.

But it does not work in 11 of Explorer, Firefox, Safari and Chrome.

You can go to the website and see the first page, but you can't use the menu and go to the other pages.

What can be done to fix this?

There seems to be an object (probably an empty text block) on the top, obscuring most (all?) of the menu. The object has no border or background. That is to say up to 10 have a bug that allows the mouse events through objects that have no fill or stroke (which is contrary to the HTML specification and not how other browsers work).

Delete the empty and everything should work as expected.

  • background image does not load

I'm stuck at the moment. All my pages load my kind of background white except for a single page, which is a pain in my *. This is a page where you can fill out some forms that mail me the content. But somehow the page which suppose to be white, out of gray. Very annoying.

I'm new to this kind of communication, so I do not know what code I have to place this post. So, can help you a beginner?

Thanks in advance and hope to hear from you

    See you soon,.

    Jaap

OK... you have your footer inside your form for what reason eve table and go outside the div #content.inschrijven with your div clear below, that's how the page should end

Copy what is in red with your form table and drag it between the divs at the end (in black) of the page, as shown. Make sure you do as stated, otherwise you can really mess up your car. First of all as a backup, make a copy if you get confused, you can try and try again until you have proper placement. Once you do just the page falls into place.

Also... This is a fix for this problem, but you have done a few things that has no best practice and you also have a lot of validation issues. But the difficulty of one thing at a time. Good luck.

It's driving me crazy!  It's only this one image in a website on this one page: Mr. CD of music for sale

The image of the top CD will not - appear to have checked safari and firefox.  I reloaded the page and the image, it looks good in DW, I see nothing wrong with the code.  Any ideas?

    Thank you!

You are positive that the image is uploaded to the server where it is said it is: images/cds/let-it-shine-front.jpg

Its strange that would show an error prohibited. You have not accidentally seen refused permission to display this image by setting chmod privileges?

    Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /images/cds/let-it-shine-front.jpg on this server.

Additionally, a 404 not found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument directive to manage demand.

If this continues I rename the image and update the link to the CBC to the image and see if that solves the problem.
