  He's not beside that you currently have on your page until you style the two with css which should arrive later in the tutorial.

  You place the elements juxtaposed by "floating" with css.

  I want to show the user name in the navigation in apex5 bar. Here I used a pl/sql code to get the user name of LDAP, authentication and pass it to a textfeild when connect you to the application. HERE pass the user name in the text field correctly. All I want is I want to show the value of text field in the navigation bar (the components shared-> details-> entry of the list concerned list) so, what is the syntax to add the value of the entry list Labeltext field? : P101_USER did not work. Please help me on this.

  For security reasons Login page elements are automatically empty, so P101_USER will contain no value when authentication is complete. Rather than use a Login page element, create a point application called USER_NAME and store the string CN value in that. It can be referenced in the entry of the Navigation bar using the syntax of static text substitution:&USER_NAME.

  Trying to get a picture icon in the navigation bar before the link to logout for my application. I tried to create an entry for the icon of the image to display, but its does not work. Someone help me please on how to display the image in the navigation bar entry icon.

  I imported the image icon in my application and I am referencing using #APP_IMAGES #pt_comp.png, but no luck.

  I have Setup demo in my personal workspace. Please take a look at my Application 81621Page 1 under the Navigation bar there is an entry with the name #APP_IMAGES #pt_comp.png with sequence 100. Here are my coordinates of the workspace.

  Submodel of the Navigation bar in the page template does not support images. The help of point to the submodel says:

  The following will be substituted in the navigation bar #BAR_BODY # for each navigation bar entry. The following substitution strings allows to compose the sub navigation bar template.

  • #LINK #-link entry
  • #TEXT #-text of the entry sub
  • #IMAGE #-entry image (HTML image ALT, HEIGHT, and WIDTH arguments will be included with the HTML IMG tag when they are under the navigation bar entry)
  • #EDIT #-Inline edit link editing capability
  • #WIDTH #-image width
  • #HEIGHT #-image height
  • #COLSPAN #-value HTML COLSPAN
  • #ALT #-image alternative text

  Note that the subtemplate has #TEXT # substitution string, not a img element indicating the #IMAGE # string as its src attribute:

• DirectX 11 accidents of Battle Field Bad Company 2.

  Original title: looks that directx 11 are causing problems for my system.

  My current setup is

  Core i5 750

  ASUS p55 mobo

  4 GB of ddr3 memory

  OCZ ssd

  GTS 250 1 GB

  After freshly installed Windows 7 Professional, I installed Battle Field Bad Company 2 off the coast of the retail dvd.

  But the problem is that I forgot to install directx 10? (that supports the gts 250) before installing BFBC 2.

  Thus, during this installation directx 11 appear to be installed also.

  I checked dxdiag, says is version directx 11.

  But my graphics card does not support that.

  Whenever I get in the game, I get shots of horn or crashed within 3 minutes.

  How can I solve this problem?

  If I continue to directx 11 on my system it causes any kind of damage to the material?

  The detection and utilization of DirectX9/DirectX10/DirectX11 is done automatically, the game chooses the possible highest version available with your graphics card and operating system. You can follow method 1 or method 2 to resolve the problem. However, I would recommend using method 2 as well, even if the problem is solved with method 1.

  Method 1:

  If you want to force a given path you can do in the Settings.ini file by setting 'DxVersion' to one of the following options:9,10, 11 , or auto (default). The Settings.ini file located in the directory of my Documents\BFBC2.

  Change the value of DxVersion to one of the following numbers depending on your choice.

  DxVersion = auto
  DxVersion = 11
  DxVersion = 10
  DxVersion = 9

  If the game does not start with the superior version, it automatically tries to start with that before. As if the game could not start with 11, it will try to start with 10 then 9.

  Method 2:

   

  Update your video card and sound card drivers to the latest version.

  Nvidia GTS 250 graphic card driver has support for DirectX 11.

  Recharge in Fireworks.  It is one of the major drawbacks to the use of bearings of button in a graphical application.  Consider using menus CSS style instead.  Once they are set up, it is easy to change a menu item in the HTML code of your page.

  Yes, this is a common problem. Use the SPACEBAR to toggle individual mailboxes.

• Logo and nav bar jump when changin pages

  Note that this is actually because you are moving long to a few pages of content and the vertical scroll bar is appearing and disappearing.

  Totally, the normal web developers and only will notice.

  If you really, really want to do, so it never changes from one page to another, you might add the following css...

  {body

  overflow - y: scroll;

  }

  This will create a scroll bar (without any real scrolling) on these pages who don't when their content is too short to make it appear.

  I had my top nav bar together and the logo on the left with a picture below, I tried plaicing that image in a rectangle also tried to use the browser fill and when I scrolled-window resized the image below in the navigation at the top of the page.

  I think I've sorted it now, but don't know how I did it.

  Apple rejected our DPS app updated recent based on the custom nav bar buttons that exist for two years now in the app:

  Heck, we had once rejected for this reason Adobe Content Viewer. The 'Forgotten password' link went to a page on www.adobe.com, and from there, you can use wider site navigation to go to the Adobe online store and buy stuff. LCA has been rejected, and we had to change the page so that you could not navigate to other parts of the Adobe site.

  This is usually done at the level of page template. You can put right after the HTML in the page template to display the user name.

  &APP_USER.
  

  If you change the "page template", you will see the #NAVIGATION_BAR substitution string #. You can just put above HTML before #NAVIGATION_BAR #.

  BTW, what is your Version of APEX? What theme are you using?

  Hi Paul

  Sounds like a z-index issue.

  We really need to see ALL of your files to solve your problem quickly and accurately, without a lot of questions and-front-back and guess.

  Just rename a copy of your problem page (for example "test.html") and upload it to your server (with all the associated files) in the folder the original page was and simply post a link in the Forum and tell us about your problem.

  This avoids you having to cut and paste code miles in the Forum of the page and all dependent on CSS, JS etc files.and saves us from having to recreate all your files, find your images and then fix your code and test the solution for you.
