    Hello

Touch it, it will show one or more folders and files. To open a folder, tap once to copy (or cut) a file or folder: pin down and you can see another menu to copy, cut. From there, find the other folder, and then paste. You can see more information:

Yes. There is no problem with their two different versions of
Windows. The files contain not what anyone who still marks that
Windows version they were created under.

But there is a potential problem. If the files have been created with a
another version of Office that you have, you may have
Difficulty reading the. For example, Word 2007 and 2010 creates .docx
files by default (unless you tell her save as .doc) and if you
an earlier version of Word, you will not be able to open a .docx file
unless you install the compatibility pack to

  • Strange USB file, is it a virus?

    Hello!

So, basically, I had my writing every year test in English on my school today, I hope that the last of them on the College. When I went to the end and deliver my work, I am approached by the professor who gave me a USB to my .doc file. I didn't think much, because that's essentially what we do on such tests. However, when I put the USB into my mac and navigated to the USB via the finder, I noticed a strange file (format .lnk) looking, with a name of the student in my class as the name. I know for a fact that this guy is a game/tech-guy, but I am very questioning of his skills. However, do you think it is an infectious file? I looked, and there is an autorun file. The student who is not finish very early, so I I think that this is planned. However, I could be completely wrong, but it is still quite annoying. The Professor of mine is very bad with computers, so I don't know if she even notice it...

Am I infected by a virus, and if so - how can I remove it? I switched to mac a couple of years, but I'm not as familiar with typical directiories-virus or virus for mac in general I'm with Windows (I am such as experienced by malware and eradication (Botnets, RAT etc.) under Windows).

    Thanks in advance.

By the way; I don't know if it's the right category to post in.

There are no viruses that attack to a mac, not yet anyway, so your mac will be fine.

If you do not know the file, drag it to the trash, and then delete it.

your mac can get malware that can be identified and removed by the present. https://www.Malwarebytes.org/antimalware/

    Hello!

I bought a Toshiba smart 3d a month ago. I'm very happy with the design, but I was disappointed when I tried to play a movie in 3d from a usb device. The image was perfect, but there was no sound.

Can someone help please, I want to enjoy my tv!

    Thank you

    Hello

    > The image was perfect, but there was no sound.

I think it is just an audio codec problem.
You will need to check the movie files and probably you will need to use one of the supported audio codec

Check user 94 manual page for more details on video and audio codecs supported.

  • XBR55X850D USB file access

Hi people, this is my first post!

We used to have a Samsung TV which read usb drives without problems, but this new Sony has us pulling the hairs!

We tried to connect one 1.5 to HD and another 500 GB drive, filled with files, AVI and thrying to access through the "VIDÉO" option The TV will access let us files eventually but it takes about 20-30 minutes. It seems as if this option tries to load an image for each file on the hard disk before letting us select all (it displays "loading" all this time).

I installed Archos, which allows us to select the file immediately, but playback is very jerky.

After this period of 20 to 30 minutes, the files play fine. It's just that we have to wait this long almost whenever turn us on the TV.

Is there a way to access the files on an external drive and set the 'native' player to play AVI files? I guess there is, what is an Android TV!

If not, we will have to pack up and bring him back, because we have a pretty extensive library of media files.

    Thanks for the help!

Wow what a community... No response, not even a home... Support here is as useless from Sony itself. In case it might help someone else, I downloaded Kodi and he did exactly what I asked. You are welcome

    ·         Have you tried plugging the USB stick on another computer?

Check to see if the following is useful.

Method 1: Connect the USB drive to another computer to check the issue.

Method 2: Check to see if this article helps you.

A computer that is running Windows XP cannot detect a USB, an Apple iPod flash drive or an external hard disk drive

Method 3: Log on to the computer manufacturer website and update the last chipset and other updates to the device driver.

  • How can I change the NTFS file system to say fat so my TV will read the HD Ext USB files? Thank you

Using Vista, downloaded a movie on 2GB USB flash drive and Iomega 1 TB HARD drive then strove to connect both in TV Grundig.

Read file ok but wouldn't play film "says cannot read the file format" all clues please? For your info I have 63 years if my grandson was here 6 years old it would probably sort fast time, but I can't! :)

    Hi Norman,

After you convert a partition to NTFS (New Technology File System), you can not convert back. If you want to use the FAT (File Allocation table) file system on the partition again, you will need to reformat the partition, and this will erase all data on it.

Click on the link mentioned below as reference.

  • Cannot access my USB files!

Whenever I click on the computer icon in order to access the files on my USB key, I get the message "Windows Explorer has stopped working". No idea why more so that I do not access to internet at all. In addition, it is said "there was a problem with Windows, which caused it stop working correctly." Your computer can be updated missing that can help to improve its stability and security. "However, when I go to the icon to launch possibly these updates, I get the same message"windows Explorer has stopped working ". Help!

It can be caused by a bad context menu Manager. A context menu handler is a handler shell extension that adds a context menu controls existing.

    http://WindowsXP.MVPs.org/slowrightclick.htm

Try to use ShellExView (from nirsoft.net) and run it. It will scan the registry for all shell extensions. Once the analysis is complete, and the list is displayed, you need to identify the managers context menus. Sort the results by clicking the column heading 'Type', so that managers of context menus are displayed together.

The rule is to turn off non-Microsoft context menu managers (in the pink tones) one by one and check if the problem is resolved. If a deactivation does not resolve the problem, undo the disabled item and disable the next Manager non-Microsoft. Repeat until the problem is resolved and finally to identify the culprit.

  • "Please insert the disk" drama, but he had to get the USB files

    Hello
I tried to do some homework and generally save them on my USB disk of 4 GB, up to our days, the car worked well (even when the phone fell off my bed and the USB it folded kind of last night). I went to school and used without any problems at all until a class when I logged on a computer and it told me that the message "insert a disk in the drive removable (E)", I had not thought much of it because the pc to school can be quite slow at times. Went home and have encountered the same problem, had not actually saved a good copy on my laptop so there is mistake no. 1. So I googled the problem found some solutions and none have worked so far, I can understand that it works perhaps not properly because it folds (but could be fixed / back into place, the damage wasn't bad at all).
Is there anyway that I can my laptop to read the USB so I can extract the files it contains, if I can actually do my homework?
I'd appreciate any help at all because this assignment due tomorrow and even if it is a heavy task to write again I really want to solve the problem,
    Thank you.

Your USB may have been permanently damaged.

Try this program to extract the assignment thereof:

    http://www.SnapFiles.com/get/Recuva.html

Recuva is a file undeletion tool that allows you to analyze your hard drives or media cards for files that have been deleted or formatted. It presents you a list of files that have been found, as well as an assessment of their potential for recovery, a preview option, and a hex viewer to inspect the content. You can limit your search to files of a certain type (e.g. images, audio etc.) and choose between a quick and a thorough analysis approach. The program also includes a secure deletion option that allows you to permanently delete files that were found while parsing, to avoid any future recoveries.

    See you soon.

  • Copy to USB files error: file too large

    Hello;

I formatted a 32 GB USB using windows 7 and I got to choose the default settings: capacity 29.2, FAT32 (default) and allocation 16kbs.
but now windows will not let me copy a large file, which I have been able to do prior to formatting.  They are rar files, about 5 to 8 GB.

    I get this message:
The "ABCD" file is too large for the destination of the file system.

I want to format it on old hardrive 250 GB, I put just to use as an external hard drive to back up, and I have a feeling I'll run into the same problem.

Any ideas as to why the sudden limit?

    Hello

FAT32 has a maximum file size of 4 GB.

You must format the disk with the NTFS option.
