  Hello fabio, this looks like a problem maybe caused by adware on your pc. Please go to firefox > addons > extensions & remove any suspect entries (toolbars, the things that you have not intentionally installed, do not know what purpose they serve, etc - others have reported it might especially come under the name of "Proxy Tool"). also, go to the windows control panel / programs and remove all toolbars or potentially unwanted software from here and do a full scan of your system with the security software you have in place or another tool like the free version of malwarebytes.

  Yes, it is possible to have streams of directions through the bluetooth device. Regarding entry voice (i.e.: speaking of destination for nav) which also works. The device must support the A2DP profile so that the flow through it. I have the Motorola H17txt ear pc. & the Blueant s4 speaker & they work great, w / either goole vz NAV or nav.

Since our employees need for software sophisticated turn-by-turn navigation such as TomTom or Navigon on a daily basis, we are somewhat disappointed that these applications have not yet been ported to BB10 (correct me if I'm wrong). Y at - there anychance that this happen some point in the near future? It is a higher requirement for us a "business smartphone' must meet to be considered a true alternative to the currently used apple and Android.

  I downloaded add-on because I'm paranoid about viruses and malware, but it doesn't do anything. (I actually just downloaded a second time in case I did not properly, but have the same problem). After that, I was on the net, the screen remains blank and none of the buttons/links seem to work. I have looked in the programs section and features in the control panel of my but can't find not to remove either. I am not very computer so please explain in simple language. I have Windows Firefox 4.0and 8.1 but could rise to 10. I don't know what are the extensions but I Google and standard things provided with a laptop Asus with Windows 8.1 (but I don't really use a lot except weather and Outlook).

  Do not place yourself unnecessarily. The Portable package is self-contained, in other words it contains everything you need to use - if you can install Firefox and you can clearly, you can install Portable. Use it is no different from standard Firefox, but you can't have them both open at the same time.

  Regarding the Lightbeam uninstalling:

  Sounds like uninstall add-on is not well ( files have been deleted, so the resource is empty: / / reference, but the button can have remained, since you can try to access the view).

  If your firewall or other security software has this feature, you can configure the rules to deal with that. For example, by default, you can prevent external applications to launch web browsers. You could then define rules for specific applications to allow them to launch web browsers. This way you can always click on links in an email client and open them in a browser, for example.

  As far as I know, no navigation software only allows you to ignore links launched by external applications. You can request this feature by submitting a bug enhacement, so relevant report does not already exist.

  You can save the iTunes library on the TC... It is possible though slower.

  It is not possible to store your library of Photos on the TC... once again, it might work and other people the recommend... but Apple does not support.

  iOS has nothing to do with the storage or backup to a TC either. By default iOS don't not have yet the disk on the TC... you must use file... as filebrowser navigation software.

  Windows is also possible, but problematic. To make backups is probably not possible by using the native software in windows, but many third-party backups will support it... Macrium Reflect is one I use that.

  However the restoration can be much more difficult because the files are not stored in native format.

  If you want a multi-OS device buy a real NAS... Synology is my favourite, although expensive, that they support PC and Mac very well... as well as applications for iOS.

  You will store actually Mac libraries is another matter however because they depend on Mac format so you may create a sparsebundle or DMG file and use it. And this will make sharing... which I think is why you... almost impossible.

  NOTE... If you use not a backup of TC is not possible using Time Machine... and you should back up the files we need to think about the problem... what software to use... Carbon copy clone or chronosync will run... and you need a target disk... USB attached to the TC is the worst... slow place that transport CANADA continues to use USB2.
