navto: / /.

I create a scrolling page 1024 x 1536.  I would like to create a generic button that would bring back them to the top of the current article they read.

Is it possible to do as a generic button?

Thank you very much.

Yes, use navto://relative/current#0 to access the first page of the current article.

  • navto://relative/parent does not work in the Web Viewer

    Hello

We have recently added in one of our app a menu navigation that points to a different section of a publication. We have also added the option to revert to the parent with the navto://relative/parent link collection.

It works very well on tablets and mobile phones, but it doesn't seem to work in the Web Viewer version.

Here is an example. The navigation menu is in the upper right corner, and the link to exit the publication is called "Quitter" (the last choice in the menu).

Is this a bug or this type of link is not yet supported in the Web Viewer?

    Thank you

The navto://relative/parent format is not supported in web viewer. A tester told me that there is an additional complexity in the determination of the parent in the viewer web because Viewer users don't always access the app of the top-level collection.

  • navto://relative/current#50%

In a previous post, I asked what command I should use to access specific extra point down in my article of smooth scrolling when I have 2 high level navigations. The response gave Bob was correct (navto://relative/current#50%), but it works only on iOS. When I press the button on Android, it does nothing. Y at - it something I'm doing wrong or is this a bug?

It turns out that it is a bug. Using a value as 50% scroll smoothly items works on iOS but not Android.

The workaround is to use the method of the page (#n) instead of a percentage to access a specific location. In an article in smooth scrolling, screen, each tile is actually a page. So if you have a scrolling tile 6 article smooth (for example, 768 x 6000), you would use something like navto://relative/current#2 to go to the 3 article scroll smooth tiles. You can use the decimal point (#2.3) to refine the link.

I'll try not to forget to reply to this thread when the beholder Android bug is fixed.

  • Navto #anchors to the HTML Articles?

It is possible to navigate to anchors in the articles based on an order of navto HTML?

For example: in a given article, I can use

    < a href = "navto://introduction" > link < /a > Intro

to navigate to the Article Introduction in my Mobile of the MEA project.

However, if I want to skip a segment given in this article, you would think
    < a href = "navto://introduction#anchor" > Intro - anchor link < /a >

jump successfully to the #anchor tag in the Article Intro. But this doesn't seem to work. Can someone clarify that FIS / #anchor links do not work in the navto command?

    Thank you

I determined that the unsuccessful nature of the binding of #anchor was unique to article that I deal with. The binding as described in my previous post seems to work fine under normal circumstances. Thank you!

  • Navto link that goes directly to the (e-mail and password) login screen

Is there a way to show the login screen (where he asks the email and password - direct payment) a Collection or an Article? Using Navto for example?

It is not supported at the moment. As we enter 2016 we seek to provide more / different ways to trigger the login screen and your suggestion is an option.

  • navto to external/collections articles

In order to avoid a lot of testing time. Is it possible to open a collection/content via navto: / / If the contents of this collection / is not a child of the top-level collection?

    Thank you

    -Ulrich haha

Yes, it is possible and sometimes very useful. If you link to an article that did not include in any part of the structure of TLC, article will be responsible, and the previous button returns to the parent item.

  • banner navto

Are you able to create a new banner and have it link to a page of collection or browse?  If then... where you put the 'navto://collection/ [CollectionName] "?

At this time, banner support only http - navto in a banner is not supported.

  • navto links go dead when not the first article of collection

I feel very odd behavior with navto links in the articles of DPS solution.

I have an article with a big button with this link: navto://GRhodes_PofC_contents#1--juste the name of another article in the same collection, goes to the second page.

If I set up the collection so that the article with the link of navto load first, the button works.  If it is nowhere else in the collection (and I navigate through a link from another article), the button is dead.  It's clearly reading the action because the < = back link is not displayed at the top of the screen.  And no error rises ("content not found"), instead, it does nothing.  Looks like a bug, but I can't diagnose.  I have not tried yet completely rebuild the collection and items on the DPS, but it's my next step.

Anyone else having this problem with unreliable strange behavior with links to navto?

    Hey, Geoffrey;

Navto in DPS2015 links work much like the previous version, but there are a few differences.

Within a project, you will have a lot of articles, but the name of each item is unique. Navto://ArticleName will get you to the article, but the relative location where you come from and where you "nav would be-to" has an impact on your experience.

A navto of one article to another in the same collection has a context, so you can drag the previous or following in the collection items.

But if you navto an article that is outside the collection, then there's no context for all navigation drag (you can only go back). So a navto an article outside the current collection is a little like walking into a cup bag - you must leave the way you came in.

Some related commands navto work, and there is info in the HELP system: https://helpx.adobe.com/digital-publishing-solution/help/hyperlinks.html#create_goto_links _to_custom_icons

The significant passage in the HELP article is in the first section, third indent:

    • If the destination article is located in the same collection that section that the user displays, typing the link opens this article as part of the collection. If the destination article is not in the same collection, it will open in a State that is not bound to a collection, with no article left or right of it. Users can use the navigation bar to return to the original article.

  • navto between collections

    Hello

I tried the button of the navto of articles for another article (same collection) and other collection.

You can apply a link from an article to a section within another collection?

    Maybe something like this: navto://collection_name/article_name

    Concerning

We are currently accepting navtos a collection yet. You can link to another article, but not an article as part of a collection.

  • How to link articles within of each other (used to be buttons [navto:] and sheets)

I am moving to new DPSolutions and I'm confused as to how the navigation. How we use the buttons in the articles to navigate to other items within a collection.

You can use the same navto: / / If you specify the name of the article you used when you created the article in the web portal.

  • "Navto" command within the overlay network does not not in Windows

We have exactly the same problem as in this thread, just for Windows: "Navto" command within the overlay network does not not in Android

There is some code in an overlay of web which should "navto" one other article, if there is no interaction with the screen after a defined period of time.

But unfortunately our folio of test does not work on Windows. There is an error message indicating that no application is defined for navto links. Shouldn't the Viewer for content Windows catch these links?

I have confirmed with our engineers navto in the meta tag is not supported on Windows. It will work in a , or via window.location in JavaScript, but not in the meta tag.

  • Hyperlinks not working not not in navto links

I update 2 apps which consist of 20 items each of which is an index in the form of columns of buttons that are hyperlinks using the navto range. It worked well before ios8, now it doesn't work at all. Links to Web sites are working fine. Can someone explain this to me, I've updated the applications from scratch and got all the latest versions of each thing. Thanks Steve

Navto links work very well for iOS devices 8. Have you changed your article names?

  • "Navto" command within the overlay network does not not in Android

We are building an Android app for the native Viewer. We placed another article of the code within a web overlay which should "navto" If there is no interaction with the screen after a defined period of time.

We used a piece of code, saved to a file .html, in an iPad app and works great. Import the html file in a box with Web content overlay. However, the same code and the process does not work in Android - we've even created a test iPad Folio (who worked on the iPad) and downloaded the same folio on our Android device in the content viewer - which did not work.

Instead, what is happening, it's the box that we have placed our code in "Web Page not available" poster in the desired space after the end of our timer.

It seems that he cannot understand the URL navto. Instead, it looks like an external web page. Whereas the iPad include cela and redirects to the section of the screen saver.

We use a Samsung Galaxy S Tab.

We expect a response from Adobe Support on this, but our time is fast approaching, so any help would be welcome please

He broke. We have a bug fix in the process, and it should be available Monday.
