Navto #anchors to the HTML Articles?

It is possible to navigate to anchors in the articles based on an order of navto HTML?

For example: in a given article, I can use

< a href = "navto://introduction" > link < /a > Intro

to navigate to the Article Introduction in my Mobile of the MEA project.

However, if I want to skip a segment given in this article, you would think
< a href = "navto://introduction#anchor" > Intro - anchor link < /a >

jump successfully to the #anchor tag in the Article Intro. But this doesn't seem to work. Can someone clarify that FIS / #anchor links do not work in the navto command?

Thank you

I determined that the unsuccessful nature of the binding of #anchor was unique to article that I deal with. The binding as described in my previous post seems to work fine under normal circumstances. Thank you!

We have a customer magazine that we publish on the phone like a .article by liberation, as it suits better the range of phone screens (as opposed to an Indesign with different sizes of small screen)

    It is structured like index.html, 1.html, 2.html, 3.html... tswan.html, then in a file .article

Now, we have been asked to include the "Social sharing" feature for each item inside the .article file.

When you look now, you can share the .article together, but not for example 2. HTML

I see that the viewer creates certain specific features of the operating system when you view a .html ('complete' to return to index.html and the title of the metatag in the HTML file)-would it be possible to include a Meta tag in the header of the html file for example "include sharing" so that the share button can be introduced by connecting Web viewer article "articles"?

Sharing is a feature of iOS, activated at the level of the project.

Sharing comes from the article which is read.

Article = an action. It is not the HTML here, it is the structure of your content in 2015 of DPS.

  • IFrames offline in the HTML articles

I have an iFrame loading a Google map in one of my HTML articles, and when I go to test article in a full article offline mode does not load. All I get is a blank white screen. • Position fixed DIV strangeness and anchor in the HTML stack

    Hello

Im hoping someone can help me here.

In short - I've implemented a pile of HTML/CSS. On the page, I have a couple of position: fixed; < div > s. From iOS5, they are supposed to work in mobile Safari and actually work in DPS (I tested).

Inside the fixed position div, I have a hypertext link to an anchor at the top of the page. When loading the page, the link works. If I scroll the page, the link no longer works. Here's the weird part. As mentioned, after I scroll the link does not work, but if I type where the link is on the loading of the page, it works.

    Any ideas?

Position: fixed DIVs are supported in iOS5, they are a known DPS bug. They position and remain fixed, but interactive elements (hyperlinks, for example) do not work in these div tags

    DW.

To clarify - this is the case in a pile of HTML. It seems to work well enough in a superposition of Web (with the exception of weird double - tap for its work.)

  • alert box overlay appears in the HTML .article .js

Hi, I created a HTML interaction that has radio buttons and a "submit" button. the user chooses a number of options and when they reach the bottom, press the button send and a .js alert box opens and displays text. The problem is that the alert box works well when tested on my browsers, even if she is not plurarite in the overlay then exported and read in DPS 2015 applications. Are ".js alert boxes' not supported in overlays?

I think that blocks BONE boxes alerts when the HTML is hosted inside the web control.

  • Update the HTML Article

    Hello

I'm having the same issue like this post http://forums.adobe.com/message/5271793#5271793

Content (on ios) Viewer indeed find the update of the article and I would like to upload, but once I open my folio, it shows me an older version (since indesign preview works correctly).

It seems that the content viewer is not clear memory cache after the update of an article, or better, it will be clear cache only if I'm going to re - open and close (from the bottom bar).

Is there no work around to avoid closing the application at any time?

The response I posted in the other thread is accurate. There is nothing we can do here, iOS is caching the content on us and we cannot force them to give us the latest version.

  • How do I update the rendering of HTML articles

    Hello

I have a long article any HTML my folio (smooth scrolling enabled for both orientations). When opening, article is cut off at any time, and part of the text and images is missing. I have to turn the Tablet for re - make the display of the article and if I do a few times, the article shows completelly.

The HTML article also contains buttons with a javascript to reduce/enlarge the font size. By hitting the buttons, the Viewer is there, but the visible part is not updated and the content is hidden again.

How can I set the Viewer to refresh the page (with extra button?) or how do I set the Viewer so that it always displays the full article without turning the Tablet all the time?

    Thank you

    Yves

Unfortunately, there is not a way to trigger, through JavaScript, a query for the web control is used update the height of the actual page of the HTML content. If you have very long pages, you can see the bug you mention, because it takes too long for the operating system to display the page and when we ask the web control to the height of the content, it has not yet finished and we get a wrong number.

  • Problem to download the file .article

Hello. I generated this file '.artcile' using the 'HTML Article Packager"a nd every time that I try to download in the 2015 DPS, I got the error"failed to download. I did the same steps with other HTML files and there is no problem, but it does not work with this file. Do you have what could happen?

    Hello.

You must rename one of your image files:

    He doesn't like the c in academia_da_cachaca.jpg.

I renamed this academia_da_cachaca.jpg and it worked, don't forget to rename the reference in the HTML code as well.

  • navto links go dead when not the first article of collection

I feel very odd behavior with navto links in the articles of DPS solution.

I have an article with a big button with this link: navto://GRhodes_PofC_contents#1--juste the name of another article in the same collection, goes to the second page.

If I set up the collection so that the article with the link of navto load first, the button works.  If it is nowhere else in the collection (and I navigate through a link from another article), the button is dead.  It's clearly reading the action because the < = back link is not displayed at the top of the screen.  And no error rises ("content not found"), instead, it does nothing.  Looks like a bug, but I can't diagnose.  I have not tried yet completely rebuild the collection and items on the DPS, but it's my next step.

Anyone else having this problem with unreliable strange behavior with links to navto?

    Hey, Geoffrey;

Navto in DPS2015 links work much like the previous version, but there are a few differences.

Within a project, you will have a lot of articles, but the name of each item is unique. Navto://ArticleName will get you to the article, but the relative location where you come from and where you "nav would be-to" has an impact on your experience.

A navto of one article to another in the same collection has a context, so you can drag the previous or following in the collection items.

But if you navto an article that is outside the collection, then there's no context for all navigation drag (you can only go back). So a navto an article outside the current collection is a little like walking into a cup bag - you must leave the way you came in.

Some related commands navto work, and there is info in the HELP system: https://helpx.adobe.com/digital-publishing-solution/help/hyperlinks.html#create_goto_links _to_custom_icons

The significant passage in the HELP article is in the first section, third indent:

    • If the destination article is located in the same collection that section that the user displays, typing the link opens this article as part of the collection. If the destination article is not in the same collection, it will open in a State that is not bound to a collection, with no article left or right of it. Users can use the navigation bar to return to the original article.

  • Horizontal swiping HTML items move to the new article

When I'm scrolling upwards or downwards to a HTML article and then I swipe left or right I am able to jump to another article in the collection. It occurs only on items in HTML in the collection, and I want to disable this behavior.

I know if there is a bug. It is possible that HTML gestures are the substitution of this setting, which might explain your experience in which horizontal disabling dragging works correctly with the contents of the fixed layout, but not with HTML content.

  • Is the shared use of the assets of possible HTML-Articles?

We have a lot of HTML-similar items. Is it possible to use things like images, fonts, javascript and css together files? Our motivation is to have lean HTML-articles.

Shared resources are supported through migrated content and through our content download API. It is not a way to give them via the dashboard content UI for the moment, unfortunately.

  • HTML Article assemble dynamically, do scroll is not possible after the orientation change

    Hi guys,.

I encountered the following problem today:

Im having an HTML page set dynamically from a source JSON file, manipulation of information in JSON with jQuery. I'm downloading the page HTML (html page is empty until the page is in the DPS stack, then it builds) as an HTML article with the ' Smooth Scrolling: vertical. So far so good.

When I open the page inside the Adobe viewer app on my iPad, I can see the "first" part of the page (the first 1024px in portrait orientation), but I am not able to scroll further down the page.

However, when I do a change in orientation of the device (turn it landscape and then come back), I can scroll perfectly well and am able to see everything on the page (so I'm quite sure that the json in jquery for html conversion work). still unknown, when I let the page tell me his height (via $("body").height () and $(document) .height ()), it shows me that the height of the page is in effect (for example) the 10.000px, but I am not able to scroll down until I do the orientation change.

am I missing something? im sure that my code is correct, because once I change the direction of my camera, everything works perfect.

I hope that my problem is understandable, any help is very appreciated.

    Thank you

    Max

You have correctly identified the root cause: we ask the page height so we can tell the web control what content is the height. If there is JavaScript that runs when the page is loaded (or at any other time, honestly) which changes the height of the page, what could happen after that we ask for the height.

It is, unfortunately, no way to send a signal to the app ask that we re - check the height of the page and update the web control accordingly. I think the reason why it works on rotation, we only are not destroy and recreate the web control, so the height of your page is calculated correctly, but we re - ask the height so we can draw the control.

  • Performance issues HTML Article in the Adobe Viewer on iPad

I created an HTML Article using DPS, but when I get to post it on the Adobe in iPad viewer content does not scroll smoothly and the content is cut and cropped (the entire page is not displayed), it is very judery and struggles to make the HTML below "the fold" so to speak.

I tried two import HTML options in DPS and both have the same isuues of performance/gal.

I have a video in my HTML code, which seemed to be causing a problem where the video streaming was struggling to be pulled through, so I have treid YouTube and Vimeo video streaming and performance/display problem is not resolved. I then tried embbeding a mp4 directly using HTML5 to see if it was a connection/band bandwidth issue and the problem persists. However the videos play, it's just the fact that the container is cropped in half.

Sometimes the HTML item makes it, but then when you scan save the page he struggles to render the above content? Also, then when drag you to the bottom of the page content is also cultivated that was visible before?

I went through every discussion available on the Adobe community and other resources, but all of the mentioned patches have no effect.

If anyone can help or knows the same problems any advise would be welcome.

Article HTML contains some JS too, it is not working properly, but I was wondering if JS causes problems? Just a thought.

Well, I think I can find the answer so I thought I would share with the community incase anyone who knows the same type of questions.

After testing another piece of HTML that also included the video in streaming and JavaScript heavy, I have narrowed the question to my JS. I had two Nivo Slider carousels which were the road to performance issues.

The other test HTML Article scrolls smoothly and video shoots as expected, although from time to time there is a slight delay in the page to scroll up and down, but it's barely noticeable.

I hope it can be useful to others in the future?

  • Animation of the edge Article PDF HTML

Animation of the edge Article PDF HTML.

OK, hope someone can help me understand what Im missing here.

I have an animation of Adobe edge, composed of PNG and a transparent stage. If I place the OAM file in a jpg article animation with transparent overlays phase my background in indesign (below the OAM) and works very well.

When I place the CAO even in an article PDF Animation scene doesn't have a transparent stage therefor blocking my background?

I thought with the new tools that you can put HTML files with transparent steps to PDF articles?

First: Image of animation background above in the Article. Jpg Png.

Second: Same file OAM in PDF Article

    PNG_JPG.pngPDF_.png

  • HTML, representative of the DPS article

Good so I don't know what I'm missing here.

To my knowledge the idea of 'representative HTML article DPS' was that it would be generated automatically by the folio server and hosted on a 'adobe.com' or such domain.

When our users share something via Facebook / Twitter / Email these links direct to a HTML representation in their browser (I guess there will be some sort of link in this viewer to download the application on the AppStore relevant?)

Currently, all I get is a link to the URL of Publication right, which is literally just a marketing application page created by our client, which is the most terrible time and we're going to do it.

In any case these as HTML exist? Does anyone have a link? What I am doing wrong?

I can't find answers in documentation.

    CRA...

Without a doubt of the Nations United-protect every article in Folio Producer: Editor. The default is for each article to be protected. So at least that remove you manually, it will not appear in the browser. Note also, it won't be visible on the iPad.

    Bob-

When do you think we will get multiple selection checkbox in Folio Producer: Editor in Chief? It's a real pain to go and switch manually COT visibility article, H Swipe, Protect and power on a large multi-article-doc!

Also any progress on the multiple selection in the Folio Builder Panel? Continues to be a real pain to update the articles one by one!
