NB200 - from Windows 7 to XP - help
I recently bought this laptop with Windows 7 and have found that this does not work for me if you want to install Windows XP. I downloaded the drivers and put them on a disc. What I have to do a clean install or can I install XP on Windows 7? When and how to install the drivers? Also got a 350 satellite with Vista and I'm thinking put XP on that as if were the same questions for this process. Any help would be appreciated... Thank you
You're going to need to boot from the CD and wipe/format of the drive, do not forget that XP does not natively support SATA hard drive controller, so you'll need either to create a customized image of XP with the drivers incorperated or you need go into BIOS and change the AHCI to IDE drive in order to load the operating system.
After you install the AHCI with XP drivers, you can go back into the BIOS and re - activate the AHCI and now must find "New hardware" restart once more...

I can't use a website should I use with Firefox 5.0. So, I need to uninstall and go back to 3.5 or 3.6. Please notify. Also, my control panel blocks from Windows Explorer a PMP. That's why I use Firefox instead. Thanks for any help!
I thought it would be FAFSA is causing your problem.
Install Portable Firefox 3.6.x on your hard drive to a Web site. This will not affect any of your current Firefox installation.

"Recent places" seems to have disappeared from Windows 7 - help!
Until very recently, when I opened Windows Explorer, there was a "Recent places" link under "Favorites." If I clicked it, I got a long list of folders where I had recently opened items. Suddenly, it disappeared. I have been looking for help files and Google - find the \Recent Users\ [username] directory folder - but this isn't what I'm talking about.
Is it possible to get this back? Pretty please? It has been EXTREMELY helpful to me!
You're welcome, Martha.

my hp mini 210-1041-nr needs migrate from windows xp to another new.
Hello. I'm new here and I really want to know if you could help me to learn how I could change the OS of my mini 2101041NR hp, because I received a message from windows my pc will not be taken in charge by the essencial windows security because the version of xp won't be supported for this tool. I want to know if there is a version of a new operating system that I use now and how I could replace it. Thank you very much!
Here are the specifications of your computer of HP Mini 210-1041NR. According to these specifications, it seems that your computer meets the minimum requirement for installing Windows 7 32 bit. Please download and run the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor to confirm this before installing Windows 7. You can buy a copy of Windows 7 32 bit with a valid Microsoft COA and product key to install Windows 7.
If you have not already done so, please create your personal set of discs of HP recovery at this time.
You must use the version of BIOS F.24 before the upgrade to Windows 7.
Here is the page of PC HP Mini 210-1041NR drivers for your computer. HP provides Windows XP and Windows 7 32-bit drivers for your computer.
