NB520 or NB550D - what is best for me?

I read about this 2 models (NB520 and NB550D) with nice design and super car radio, but I can't decide that for me?

My needs: internet (mail, web, youtube...), the Office package, movies (divx, rmvb), picture (basic edition). I know the difference in characteristics (CPU, graphics,...), but cannot use this knowledge :(

Could you help me?

Hey,.

There is not much difference between these models: the two have 10 display, powerful speakers Harman/kardon, autonomy of Windows 7 and 9.5 and 10 hours they are perfect for mobile use.

Intel Atom CPU and CPU AMD NB550D NB520, but I don t think that there is a difference in performance. They have almost the same performance.

In your case, I buy the cheaper model. In addition the design or let's say color is a little different then buying the model you prefer. ;)

Run it on battery until battery charge level falls to about 40-50%.

Please don't completely discharge the battery. Discharge the battery completely will reduce wear and tear on the battery.

  • Please help me decide what is best for me. 4 ESX or ESXi 4?

    Hello everyone.

I need to make a decision about to use ESX or ESXi.

I have a server with AMD (x 64) processor and 8 GB of memory. HP P400 (with BBWC) is ready with drivers SATA 4 * 1 t.

    Please provide information on:

1 if I want to install the ESX or ESXi 4 in a CF (IDE mode) or USB, is that possible? If this is the case, what is the minimum space required for this driver?

. must 2 install a driver of P400 manually package in ESX or ESXi?

3 I know that there is a way to install the P400 on ESX 4 management Web site. But I could check the status of each disk by software client to ESXi or in some other way?

    Thank you very much!

Both carry the same functionality - if you access it slightly differently.

We're talking about VMware to get rid of the Service Console client. . This means that we will end up with just ESXi.

I improved 40 ESX to ESXi hosts and I'm SO glad I did. Patch has become a million times easier and faster, and I really feel that I lose nothing.

In addition, my ESX environment is now safer than before... winner winner.

    Absolutely, I would recommend ESXi

  • What is best: Firefox or Chrome

I'm trying to decide what browser should I use as my main browser. I know most of the people here will tell Firefox, but I would like to hear a more detailed explanation of the reason. Thank you!

Speed, performance and feature wise, Firefox and Chrome are pretty equal (a few Ms off here and there for speed, some rarely used Web standards and the different implementations of features are minor subtle points).

Where the differences are is the orgs behind the products.

Google: For-profit organization which has been shown in the past, not to respect the confidentiality of users, that feeds a large part of what you do in Chrome to their servers to set the types of ads you see in chrome, is not your interest or interests of the internet in the heart, but only for their benefit.

Mozilla: Non-profit that not only respects the privacy of the users (note: the highest in protection of personal information concerning organizations in 2012), but also trying to do what's best for users and the web. No shares or shareholders, Mozilla is not of the body, but the user. Your data is always safe with us and we always strive to make Firefox and the web, the best they can be for you, not for advertisers.

"The question is often asked:" should I disconnect my laptop from the mains when not in service? Under normal circumstances it should not be necessary because as soon as the lithium-ion battery is full, a properly functioning charger will stop the load and load the pad will only engage when the battery voltage drops to a low level. Most of the users do not remove AC power, and this practice is safe. »

  • What banking software is the best for macbook pro

I got my first Mac, a Macbook Pro. Yay!  Now, of course after more than a decade of use of MS products I am at a loss what to choose for my Mac. I buy MS Office in Outlook for Mac and everything's fine.

Now I need to figure out a banking software and comments drive crazy me.  As a long time Quicken user, Quicken Mac reviews are horrible. I wish Ms would bring MS Money, but it's not going to happen. Best software compared to what we have now. Even though I have Quicken I really don't like it.

So, I heard there are other financial software out there that can run on a Mac. I checked money dance but it seems that the conversion is a nightmare because a Mac does not support a QIF file.

I use this type of software only for personal use. I do not keep my investments or a budget on my computer. I'm just needing a simple online verification and the end of decent exercise software statement. I don't have to much to do because we do not fund a new society and the need to ensure the monitoring of loans.

I come to you in the hope that you all have this issue and that he can give me a helping hand.

Thanks in advance for your attention to my small personal problem.

  • What is the best for your laptop: shutdown, standby, or hibernation?

    Original title: 'stop'?

What is better for a laptop computer, stop every time, for sleep or Hibernate. It hurt to stop all the time.    Thank you Windows Vista

    Hello

Better to refer to the manufacturer of your system Support, their books online and their
Forums about your model (with a grain of salt), because it will be the difference between the marks
    and even some models.

Usually there is no exact answer but its best not to put the laptop off the coast and back
in a field so it can be avoided. Shut down the computer using also therefore be able to short
periods (several hours) using sleep or Hibernate would better save energy. Also allowing
Cool and heat Electronices frequently is not the best for their long term use and
    life expectancy.

Using power properly Plans with the right parameters of standby and Hibernate, which
depends on how you use the computer, get the best performance and service life
There is however no exact answer. Those who seem to be best for the way you use the
system will probably also be better in the long term. If you "could" set with the magical settings
that could optimize the functions of machinery and life, but then to use the machine in another
model, as we all wish, then in fact you will get actually less usage and life
    If your usage patterns.

One thing that many people forget, is that turn off the screen can also save power when you
you are away a few moments and wouldn't turn the computer off. This will save
some food through the use of a screen saver, but can be difficult to remember and does not record
    A lot.

Check with your manufacturer for system and their forums as your laptop might already have this
    capacity.

  • What plan is best for digital drawing

    Hi all!

I was thinking through a plan of Photoshop. I learn the drawing right now and so I do not know which one to choose. The foreground costs 12 euros, the second 29 I guess - first is full of Photoshop? Or just to Lightroom? It is said in the "Photography" title, but I want to use it mainly for digital drawing. What is your opinion on the matter?

    Thank you

    Hello

    Greetings!
Plan of photography includes Lightroom and Photoshop.

If you do not use illustrator then this plan is best for you.

  • Is it possible to change sequence settings after you start a project? Also, how can I know what sequence of parameters are best for clips that I have?

Is it possible to change sequence settings after you start a project? Also, how can I know what sequence of parameters are best for clips that I have?
The clips I have are HD and .mp3. MTS files.

In the latest version of Premiere Pro, it is possible to change the settings for the sequence.

You know what settings are best knowing what you are doing.  (Personally I'm fan of formal education for this.)  I know that sounds sarcastic, but, there is no right answer to the question whose parameters are the best.  There are many variables here, then... you really need to know what you're doing.

  • What Configuration of Pro Mac best for creative Cloud applications?

I'm buying Mac Pro again and trying to decide on what processor will work best with creative cloud apps.  The Apple site States...

"If you run applications that are not highly multi-threads, you'll enjoy maximum processors with higher clock speed. Highly multithreaded will run better on CPUs with a higher number of kernel, even with a slightly lower clock speed. »

I have often run InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator at a time and working on very large files, Photoshop and Illustrator. These applications are "multi-threaded"?

Thanks for any help you can offer.

I think that what he asked for is not on the minimum requirements, but the optimal processor based on the options of Apple for the new Mac Pro. I'm sure that the answer is different for each CC apps, but those who profit more than what processor options? On the Apple site options:

    • 3.7 GHz quad-core with 10 MB cache L3
    • 6 hearts 3.5 GHz with 12 MB of L3 cache
    • 3.0GHz 8-core with 25 MB cache L3
    • 2.7GHz 12-core with 30 MB cache L3

I run mainly Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Dreamweaver, and After Effects. I was wondering the same thing. The options are getting more expensive as you go down the list, of course.
