• Pavalion p7 1420t: uninstall CyberLink Media Suite

  The other day I posted a question that I find my software to bury disc that came with my computer by default, CyberLink Media Suite.  But I found that it doesn't have the ability to burn videos to dvd disc.  I am interested in upgrading to another software that does.

  When I go to programs and features, here are the items that I have installed in what concerns CyberLink Media Suite.

  CyberLink label printing

  CyberLink Media Suite 10

  Director of photography from CyberLink

  Cyber Llnk power 2 8 GB

  Cyber Link Power Director 10

  Cyber Link Power DvD

  Getting to the point.   During the uninstallation of CyberLink what I have to remove all the above mentioned features and whether my drive will read the new installation disc to install the new program.  It is after the couple disappeared.  Or maybe leave Cyberlink suite installed and adds the new program with Cyberlink and uses each side by side.   I thought Nero Platium 2015.

  I would like to than my photos (and videos, etc.) to open with another software that HP Media Suite. I tried to change the software to open in properties, but it only lasts for the duration of the session.

  What I have to remove HP Media Suite or is it a way to change the software to open?

  Hi Helen,

  Go to the control panel and click programs and features.  Now, right click on the entry for HP Media Suite and select uninstall.  Click 'Yes' or 'Ok' to all the other guests.  Once the uninstall is complete, reboot your computer.

  You probably already have the new installer for HP Media Suite, but it is on the link below if you need.

  Double-click the installer to start the installation.

  When the program has finished installing, hold down the windows key and press R.  In the run box, type msconfig and press return.  Select the Startup tab, uncheck the box for the HP Media Suite entry and click on apply (if you don't see an entry for HP Media Suite, take the tick on ArcSoft instead, and click on apply).  Restart the computer.

  When you restart, go to the control panel and click default programs and then click set your default programs.  If all goes well, you should now see an entry for HP Media Suite (once again, if you do not see HP Media Suite figure this for ArcSoft) in the list on the left.  Click it, and then click Choose defaults for this program.  Remove the tick from the box next. JPEG and. JPG and save the changes.  Close the window and once again go to the control panel and click default programs, and then click set your default programs.  Click Windows Photo Viewer, and then click set this program by default and click ok.  Close the window and restart your computer.

  For some reason I can't explain, I can't get the Cyberlink Media Suite to open.  There was an update from HP for Cyberlink which I did.  I did a reboot and still not bring the multimedia suite to open.

  Solutions?  Links?  Thank you!

  I just figured that this is.  Somehow the file .exe for the entire suite was on the desk.  I found individual components in programs that were already installed.

  Apparently the update download wound up on top of the office.

  Problem solved!

  My laptop was running 64-bit Windows 8 and then I updated to Windows 10 64 - bit.  After a few additional updates. I ended up losing my Cyberlink Media Suite. I have the original recovery disks. But I really want to start all over again. Is anyway to recover and recharge the suite Cyberlink, I had?

  8.1 Windows only downloads here but Cyberlink stuff should work ok with Windows 10.

When I buy the laptop the Cyberlink power2go Cyberlink Media Suite and HP were pre-installed software and after the upgrade, I was still able to watch a dvd on my laptop. but as of today, I am unable to. How can I reinstall the software (Cyberlink Media Suite)? Is - this nolonger compatible windows 10?  Please advise...

  10 Windows by default is not program DVD available on your previous operating system. If you want you must buy it from Windows App store to access the functionality of dvd playback.

• Error 0xC00D2781 when obtaining security for the Overdrive Media Console software update

  When getting to a security update for the error code of Overdrive Media Console get 0xC00D2781.  I tried to update by going to tools in the Overdrive Media Console software and also by going to the link http://drmlicense.one.microsoft.com/indivsite.

  I found my answers in this forum. I had to change the DRM to DRM.old folder and reopen the media player and then it worked :) Good luck

• Pavilion dv6-6149nr: Cyber Link you CAM NOT WORING

  The Link Cyber you Cam my, HP Pavilion dv6-6149nr Entertaiment PC, computer stopped fuction. When I click on the icon to open the webcam the screen has a pop up that States that there is no webcam attached. In Windows features, I learned that the device works properly.

  The ONLY icons on the screen for the webcam that fuction is to select the photos only, only, video or photos and video. The buttons remove and e-mail work, but NOTHING else.

  I contacted the people at Cyber link Web Cam and have not yet obtained all the councils that solves the problem.

  I traced my hard drive and that did not work.

  My computer has the Windows 7 Home Premium OS with Service Pack One.

  Processor: AMD A6 - 3400 APU with Radeon HD 1.40gz graphics card

  RAM: 8 GB

  System: 64-bit

  I understand that the external webcam works very well and you have eliminated the software as a problem.

  Chapter 3, page 42 has part numbers for a display cable kit that includes the webcam cable or a webcam of replacement if you should be interested.

  I accidentally uninstalled CyberLink Media Suite 10 while trying to uninstall Cyberlink PowerDVD. How this error will affect how my phone will work in the future? Is there a way I can re - download this software?

  FYI: My CyberLink Power DVD had stopped working, where the reason I tried to unstall it.
