  Open a high command prompt, and then type these commands:

  NET user "user %%nom" | more

  (to check when you change changed your password)

  NET user "user %%nom" 123456

  (to change your password to 123456)

  Now, restart Windows and check if the problem persists.

  If you're talking about XP Mode the default password is XPMUser.  In general you can not use Windows without a password in Windows Virtual PC that you can with Virtual PC 2007 and before.  XPMUser is used only with the XP Mode virtual machine.  All other virtual machines requires a user created password.  If you have changed the password in XP Mode and forgotten, then you have to start over.

  Windows Virtual PC is based on virtual server rather than VPC and all virtual machines need a password.  If necessary, uninstall the integration features, start the virtual machine and create a password for the admin user.  Restart the virtual machine, and then reinstall the integration features.  You will not be able to access a virtual machine created by the user that has no password, while the integration features are installed.  Once you have everything right, that a virtual machine will not be asked a password if you are the admin user in Windows 7.

  I get the date and the hostname without error on both nodes.
  
  But during the installation of the grid, I get this error message:

  My thought is that it is because of the port has changed 22: 7547 but where them specify this port in the configuration of the CARS?

  You can have the file/etc/ssh/ssh_config, where the default port is set at 22. Replace with 7547 and try ssh racnode1 "date; hostname". If it works, then it contains the definition, you may need to perform.

  I just removed a win2003 server machine that is retiring from our field after conversion to our server VM.  I changed the IP and plugged into the network and then created a new working group called temp after getting the error "duplicate name on the network.  When I rebooted, it asks for a password but accept nothing.  I did not have a password for the Working Group, how can I get past this?

  Need the password for the local administrator account.  This should have been implemented during the installation.  Other that that, we cannot help you crack or move in passwords.

  You must be logged in, and if you follow the instructions in the wizard, you will come to a point where you can choose to save everyone and they do not have to be connected.

  I'm stuck on the screen on my computer for my Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit edition. The password to the user account has been lost, and now I am unable to access my computer. I don't have a created password reset disk so I can't reset the password. I searched these forums and seems the most effective way is to run a system restore to a time where I did have a password for my account. Fortunately for me, I did an automatic update of Windows that created a system restore point literally moments before I put the password, so I should be able to get access to my computer once I figured out how to get system restore to work. The advice I found on other forums do not seem to work, because I'm in my Windows vista operating system disc, but no screen is coming up with 'Repair your computer', which indicate the steps happen. I need assistance to find another way to run the system restore on boot menus/Vista/DVD CD. Thank you.

  Go to Bestbuy or other PC shop. They can fix it for you. (Could I have so I am not allowed to post these alternative instructions.)
