  Hello! I have been using flash cs5 for a few years now and I was never very good with coding since I usually just swf animations. However, I am writing a history book / and I wanted to make a little guide for all species of dragons in history.

  Example: I got it so there is a title screen and a start button, you click on the Start button and you are taken to the next scene; that is an image of a dragon of mist that I drew and then plays audio. describing the dragons mist. in the corner, there is a 'next' button and when you click it, need you to the following species and audio playback, just as with the mist dragon.

  my major problem is that my code is muffed up (I know it is not totally complete, but this code is what I'm comfortable with, he knows whaat the full code is?). I typed in what I'm remembering class... could someone help me?

  Help! I am very new to scripting.

  I managed to find and tweak existing javascripts to search through all my paragraph styles to disable hyphenation and off balance the jagged lines, but I need help with this one.

  I work on Mac OS 10.4.11 using Indesign CS3.

  I need a script that will search all my paragraph and character styles in my open Active document and replace spaces by underscores.

  Can someone help me with this? It would be greatly appreciated!

  1. I don't know, but I think you can use all the regular GREP inside this function codes. Do not use the quotation marks around of the expression, use slashes! (Why? Just a curiosity of Javascript... maybe a hack that goes back to the gray mist of JS development...)

  This work should - but rather the code above, this is not tested:

  .. Replace (/ [-\ / ()-. _] + / g. '_');

  The GOLD group inbetween the brackets contain all the characters you want to replace with an underscore: the hyphen (this has to be the first character in the group, else it will be interpreted as a range of characters from each side!), space, slash (this one is 'special' inside the function replace JavaScript, so I think he needs to escape with a backslash)! in parentheses, a period (not sure if it should escape - into ordinary GREP, it's the wildcard character for any character, but maybe he loses his magic within a group of GOLD) and finally... the underscore character. Why?

  Well, this replacement string comes with a free bonus. Note the sign after the installment of GOLD +. This means that a whole sequence of these characters is replaced by a simple underscore: "it's / a - / test" will become "This_is_a_test". Adding the underscore line itself to the string of research means that it will also find the whole chain 'space space (stroke underscore)' in 'This style (_)' and, oh magic!, replace it immediately with a single underscore.

  Just FYI, the tiny "g" after the closing slash is abbreviation of 'global', i.e. at the global level, replacing in this string. replace the default values for a replacement only (why? see above...), and adding the 'g' ensures he keeps replacing until it is not find matches more.

  This is the conclusion of the solution.

  Apparently if you install the CC Apps in a drive that is not the default, two things happen:

  (1) your apps do not show in the programs and features Panel

  (2) your installed applications do not appear on the 'your applications' creative cloud Widget, he thinks that they are not installed at all, despite offering updates for them.

  I know it is old enough, but until now, it was just good enough for my use.
  In any case, after I did a restore of the Windows Vista operating system came with my computer, I got a notification of one of the tools of Toshiba that an updated BIOS is available for my computer.
  I downloaded and tried to perform an update. After that the process had finished (probably), the computer has not responded to the pad touchscreen and keyboard. I was not sure if the update really took place, especially because it looked like the computer has been is frozen. So I left it for the next +/-30 minutes, but no change.
  So I decided to reset it as even the power button did not work. So I had to remove the battery and unplug the AC power.

  ... and the computer has (almost) dead then.

  Now, it is that when I press the power button it seems to power up but the screen remains blank, fan works and Windows is not booting. It's just a short scratching sound of the DVD drive noise, and that's all.

  My question is, what is the recovery procedure in my situation? I tried to look for potential assistance on the Internet and I found a few forum or articles messages indicating that there is some recovery for the different BIOS procedures, but what is the procedure for my BIOS? The only thing I found the 'work' was that if I press the power button now the keys Fn + Esc, computer laptop powers on with power button / stop flashes. But how to force recovery BIOS flashing procedure?

  It's really stupid situation now. You will not be able to fix it with a simple recovery operation. BIOS is broken.
  In the past I have faced no such situation but on this forum I found a very interesting thread on BIOS recovery. Please take some time and visit this thread.
