Toshiba 40XV733 - external connection from DVD player problem

Hello

I can't watch DVDs on my REGZA 40XV733 when connected via HDMI to S0ny VX450 of RDR.

I guess it has something to do with HDCP and HDMI version.
I heard that in some cases, only 1.4 cable will work.
Or buy the 2.0?

Thanks in advance.

What happens when you connect the player to the TV? No picture at all? Have you checked with another cable first? Both devices must support playback of DVD via HDMI. Therefore, please provide more information on the problem.

    Hello

I'm new here so I don't know if I'm in the right forum or not, if I'm not I apologize.

I have a Satellite P200-1EE and tried to play DVDs on Toshiba HD DVD player but everytime I try it comes up with an error message saying "an error has occurred in the audio output settings. Please check audio driver is set up correctly. »

I tried the update audio drivers but it tells me that I have already installed the drivers the best.

Any help would be most appreciated.

    Thank you for your time.

    Hello

    What OS do you have?
    What is Vista?

If yes then another question; have you installed SP1?

Please also see the European driver of Toshiba page and choose your model of laptop.
There is a DVD HD v4.32.00 patch reader.
The other version 4.51.07 HD DVD player is a full version and if the patch won't work, then you must install the full version.

So how can start from reinstalling windows? Or how can I use external USB DVD to boot from it?

    I F30 - 140, with BIOS updated...

    Please help neeeeeeed...

    Hello

It seems that the CD/DVD drive has developed a hardware problem.
Normally you should be able to boor to ODD in pressing the C key immediately after the laptop has been powered.
Alternatively, you can press F12 at the beginning. This would allow the start on-screen menu.
Here you can choose ODD as a source of start-up

If this will not work, then the STRANGE might be vice.

  • Satellite A205 - screwdriver-DVD Player problems

    I have a Toshiba Satellite A205
My operating system is: Windows Vista: Home Premium, 32-bit operating system

    I have a RUG * A DVD-RAM UJ-850 s ATA DEVICE

I haven't installed any strange software or had any new hardware installed, but the DVD player decided one day that it wasn't going to work. The CD still works fine, but the DVD player gave me at the beginning of messages as:

"An error has occurred in the audio output settings. Please check audio driver is set up correctly. "So I tried, update, then just uninstalled and reinstalled the audio driver. No luck.

I tried all sorts of things from other forums, and after a few weeks of this issue, I am at a total loss. I can not even find the real driver for this DVD player, it may be available, but there are so many forums on problems with this unit, I can't sort what is relevant to me and what is not. I tried the update, removal and relocation of the family of chipsets, I tried to completely clean all the drivers and re - install... and now as I said I can't even return original driver.

    How do I fix this?

I don't know which DVD player, you used but, in my opinion, now the situation is quite complicated. Who knows what you have installed successfully, and what happens now.

    I recommend you to follow:
Back up all your important data
Install the OS by using the recovery image (its windows should work fine)
Check in Device Manager if all the hardware components are installed correctly
Some audio CD and a function test
Check the functionality of DVD player (I recommend you to use VLC media player)

If the problem persists let us know.

  • Satellite U205 - DVD Player problems

I bought a Satellite U205-S5057 year last with Vista on it. For the first month, all video files burn very well. After that, I downloaded all kinds of codecs and trial versions of DVD burning software just got keep burning DVDs.

After all downloads, of course, they began to come into conflict. I ran a system recovery and hoped that it would be clean all conflicts. I put some videos on a CD - rw and transferred to my book burning. When I clicked on the D: / he said "D: / no request." Then I re-installed Realplayer on the internet and now it burns in Realplayer 1 out of every 10 tent or if.

Anyone know why I have so many problems with my CD/DVD drive? In addition, he always says D: / is a DVD player, even when I put a CD. Is this good?

    Hello

Have you tried to remove the top and bottom of the registry entry filters?
    Not? OK, try this:

First remove the CD/DVD drive device manager.
Then, completely remove the Upperfilters and Lowerfilters from the following registry key values:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Class\ {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}

Finally, restart the computer, and restart the system.
The Windows operating system should recognize the drive and it needs to be reinstalled again.

  • Satellite A60 DVD Player problems

    Hello
I have a Satellite A60 (18mths old now) - when I 1st got it the DVD burner was DOA - so I sent off the coast and he had replaced.
It has worked well since then until recently when the DVD player just wouldn't recognize anything - CD or DVD

Tried everything with this unit - but at the end of the day understood the drive was gone.

Another bought a (SD-R6252) and lo-and-this is the same thing happens.

Each diagnosis that I run says the drive is OK - but there is no disk in it.
I reinstalled windows from the recovery factory - discs
    Update the BIOS
Tried to update the firmware of the drive-, but the update said that this was not necessary.

Tried with Nero, Windows, InterVideo - nothing.

As it is now a working machine that I can't afford 3 months back in time to send it off and watched it (that's how long it took the last time) and my nearest dealer of Toshiba is in place at the other end of the country.

Suggestions for things that I can try out would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello

The new drive can read CDs but can not burn anything. Am I wrong?
Or the drive cannot recognize the media that in the Windows operating system?
You said that you have reinstalled the widows. In this case, you used the drive.

Try to remove the drive from Device Manager. Restart the unit. Now check if you can use CDs and DVDs

as this happens, the DVD drive makes noise. This seems to happen only when the computer is running on batteries. Any ideas on how to solve this problem?

    Thank you

It cannot be seated all the way. Push the release lever. A tab will eject. Pull the tab to release the drive. Wait for the disconnected messages stop. Firmly reinsert the disc and push the tab. There should be a clear click.

  • Flex 2 15 Dvd Player problem

I have a new Flex 2 & tried to install software using the DVD player. The disk does not correctly in the drive because the central axis being larger than the center hole of the disc. So instead of sitting inside the installation of the drive, it is located at the top of the axis & falters. I've never seen a problem like this before. What can I do to correct this pr at work around that? I have not bought cd or blank dvd in a few years, but has increased the size of the opening of dvd?

I get it now... it's just a tight fit, and a little pressure loading, it did the trick. It seems even bigger than opening the disk, but it will fit. Thanks anyway.

  • How can I connect my DVD player to my new Imac with a bolt of lightning for a HDMI cable

I use the latest version of the software of El Capitan. I tried several times to use the Imac as a screen to watch my DVD without success.

Can you advise what I'm doing wrong?

You may not use any ole' DVD drive on your Mac.

You must use a special DVD player designed to work with computers and Macs.

As Apple's DVD player that is designed to work with Mac, who no longer have a built-in CD/DVD optical drive.

  • Compatible DVD player problem on Satellite U200

I'm in Iraq and my Commander quit on the laptop Satellite U200 cd player. The drive there was UJDA765 that cannot burn the DVD. The problem with this drive is it renounce collect the DVD and the CD part only worked a certain time and then makes noise.

I tried a compatible DVD burner replace it and found b UJ-822. Several sites said it was compatible and I found people who say they were using. Can someone tell me if it really is? I already had the drive delivered here. Is there something I need to do to get the laptop to see? It does not appear in the hardware section, but it has the power and opens and closes correctly. I moved to the point to consider flashing the bios, I have done that several times, but see not all the benefits like the changes in the new BIOS.

If I was wrong, can someone tell me a compatible DVD burner?

Satellite U200, to use two compatible optical disk drives:

    DVD-ROM & CD - R / RW drive UJDA765
DVD Super Multi Double layer recording UJ-842

So if you want to order again, take another. You must have the super multi, and you will be able to burn all CD/DVD formats.

Good luck boyfriend and take care of you.

  • Satellite A200 - upgrade to Windows 7 - DVD Player problems weird!

    Hello

I decided to upgrade to Windows 7 rather than replace my A200, which is always good as new after 3 1/2 years...

In typical MS fashion, the upgrade was not incident free, but the main problem is that my DVD drive will no longer read my 2007 Microsoft Office installation disc.

I CAN read the disc I've burned before the upgrade (with files/photos matching on etc.)

Someone at - it ideas? Tried to update the driver and by stopping the service Detection hardware kernel (such as recommended on a forum of MS), but no luck

    Thanks in advance!

    > main problem is that my DVD drive will no longer read my 2007 Microsoft Office installation disc.
A friend of mine had the same problem with the disc of MS Office.
It was not possible to read this disc, but other drives were compatible.
He cleaned the drive laser lens with a hint of alcohol and cotton wool, and it helped.

    Check it!

  • Satellite M300 - DVD player problem

    Hello

I have a M300 Satellite and when I insert a DVD to watch the DVD turns and hums, but the disc is not read. The reader stays like that and when I try to eject the disc there is no answer to any computer.

When I try to eject by windows media player, it says the drive is busy, but still nothing happens.
The drive continues to run and hum loudly without reading the disk and the only way to stop the rotation of the disc and eject the DVD is to restart the computer during an ejection charge upward until the computer tries to read the disc again.

I'm only a novice to the laptop any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Also, the computer was purchased in Australia and I currently live in Germany

    Please answer in English

    Thank you, Daniel

  • HTTP connectivity from a device problem

    Hello

I'm working on an application that works with our web server via HTTP and HTTPS.

As it is a consumer application, we want to operate without MDS, out-of-the-box when a smartphone is purchased at retail with a web access data plan.

I assumed that this means using direct TCP when a Wi - Fi connection is not available.

The following code snippet prepares the URL according to the configuration, and opens the connection:

    String fullUrl = (isSecure? ("https://": "http://") + appConfig.getServerHost () + "/" + url + (bbAppState.isWiFiOnly ()? « ; (interface = wifi': "") + (bbAppState.isDeviceSide ()? « ; (deviceside = true': ' ");

    c = (HttpConnection) Connector.open (fullUrl, Connector.READ_WRITE, true);

    Details of equipment and network:

    Feature: 8320
    OS 4.5.0.81
    T-Mobile US network
Have a data plan (unlimited web and 400 messages)
Connection preference: Wi - Fi preferred
    No apn is not specified
Browser and third-party applications downloaded from the App World can access internet via Wi - Fi and EDGE/GPRS with the above parameters

    Tried:

    1. Free Wi - Fi and EDGE: deviceside = true - get "Tunnel failed '.
    2. Free Wi - Fi and EDGE: no deviceside, only the url - get "Tunnel failed '.
    3. No deviceside, only = wifi interface - works with a Wi-Fi connection, reports "The Tunnel failed" when out of range of a Wi - Fi connection.
    4. I tried parameter APN to internet2.voicestream.com just to test - got the same error 'Tunnel failed '.  I would not use it as the browser and other applications need and work when the APN is empty.

My question is if I'm something wrong or missing something.  My hypothesis is that third-party apps and BlackBerry Internet Service browser.  Is there a way to know?  Is there a way to disable it (for example to make sure that the browser and other applications use it)? Our company has recently become a partner of Alliance of BlackBerry, so we can apply to BlackBerry Internet Service, but I do not understand if this is necessary for consumer applications, or if the consumer applications should rely on direct TCP.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

    Sergey

Use '; deviceside = true ', you must also specify the details of the AFN, the options of the device or in the string you provide with "; deviceside = true '.  If you do not, you will get "Tunnel failed '.

I would like to confirm the settings for T-Mobile APN - the value that you used does not match what I found in a google search.

Browser and other applications will use WAP 2.0 or BIS - B, requiring no configuration.  You can use WAP 2.0 - standard article for more details:

What - in different ways to establish an HTTP connection or socket
    DB-00396
    http://www.BlackBerry.com/knowledgecenterpublic/livelink.exe/fetch/2000/348583/800451/800563/What_Is...

Recommendation - use BIS-B (service Alliance Partner) If you can, work in cases more than anything else.

I have a Toshiba Satellite L555 laptop running Windows 7. Today I have tried to load new software (TurboTax) and the player does not recognize that a disk was in the drive. AutoPlay is enabled and the hardware manager says everything is working OK. When I go to the start menu, computer, click on the D drive, the drive opens and he tells me to load a disc. When I do, the green bar scrolls all the way to the right and the 'Wait' circle keeps spinning forever. Nothing ever loads or gives me an error message. I have exhausted the menus help and could use very little help.
