  We have a dell 2950 with 10 port NIC (2 cards with 4 each and built in 2 port on the dell).

  We plan to have redundancy with 5 ports is one physical switch, and other other 5 ports goes to another physical switch.

  For the moment, we are looking to just 5 machines to VMs on each host.  Regarding the construction of the vm machine, I have to create a separate for each machine virtual switch if I want to use 2 ports by a vm machine?

  You can really use 2 ports by a vm machine, unless the virtual machine has two network cards.  At this point, they should not be on the same network, and it's not really a good practice for servers, unless you use them as routers.

  In order to use several physical from a vSwitch perspective maps, your physical network cards which are the uplinks to the vSwitch must run on the same physical switch.  Interfaces will be to separate switches offer redundancy only and cannot be aggregated unless the switches are 'stacked' together, effectively making it a logical switch.

  So, with this many ports, I would use a pair of service console, a pair for vMotion, another pair for storage traffic (if you are using iSCSI/NFS), and then you have 2 pairs remaining for virtual machine network traffic.  For 5 vm, it's a huge amount of bandwidth, but 4 physical network adapters to GigE should go a long way toward the more vm traffic needs.

  Windows updates

  Everyone has an opinion about updates.  On a Windows 7 system, the need for updates - once the system is installed and the main updates are installed, AND assuming that it does not install no matter what additional programs or software - is mainly to preserve the system of some security problems are hiding everything.

You can spend time learning how to use it effectively.  However, the program is very effective to help you quickly catch programs that are hogging resources (memory and network, for example) that you have available.  For example, if you have a program that took all the memory and ran Amok, so to speak, the monitor will be able to quickly show what offending program to the wrongdoer.  In most cases, you can kill the culprit (identify, right-click > kill).  If you trash your system and really hang things up, press the power button and accident-shut down the computer.  You really want to do it very often. but every Admin has made at least once a clearing.

  The computer he sold me a * disk drive (5200 rpm, I think). I told him that I wanted it for the recording software. After I bought it (buyer's remorse), several people told me that he should have sold me an SSD.

  Okay - Here's my thing: I can go buy a SSD and install it. But cancel my expensive service plan and a guarantee that I have? In addition, tech support plan? And regardless if it's a Dell hardrive and I can someone have set up here, or that I have to send the laptop back and have Dell to install one of their SSD to preserve the warranty and service plan?

  With Dell, you are allowed to replace serviceable by the user on your computer without to as voiding the warranty.  Examples being the hard drives, memory, graphics cards, etc.  If ever you have a problem and need to send the unit for repair, you will need to replace your Dell parts provided those and Dell will only be guaranteed components provided by them.

  Also, you are more then welcome to install yourself, however if damage you something during the installation it will invalidate your guarantee that you caused the damage.

  Recently, I installed Need for Speed: Most Wanted in my laptop. When I start the game, nothing happens. No flash, no error message display any. I've updated all my drivers through my software manufacturer provided laptop computer. I tried different compatibility settings. Nothing has worked. Please help me in fixing this problem.

  Game Need for Speed is compatible with the windows operating system 7. You can check the Compatibility Center in windows 7.

  I'm building this interface labview eventualy do strain meter measures on composite samples. I tested what I've done so far in half-bridge config. and so far so good. I read about the need for my wages on the material in half or full-bridge ( http://www.ni.com/white-paper/4172/en/#toc1 ). My question:

  LabVIEW should a ratio value (s) accurate material fish when you use DAQmx (one of the "Measurer of strain information" requested as input for DAQmx) to get good accurate values of strain?

  (1) in other words, if I use 2 measurers (half-bridge: one in the axial direction of the sample, one at 90 ° from the axial direction on the sample), Labview DAQmx will not use the "ends of balance (accuracy/temperature/offset) of the half/full-wheatstone-bridge-config with only a. relevant fish worth?

  From what I could dig up, LabVIEW will not calculate a coefficient of specific real fish since it is purely an entry and uses only this entry for v.f..  Half and full bridge configurations are only for the "purposes of balance." This limits you to calulating your own fish for the composite ratio, which, at best, would be a way of the materials that you use.  This is a pretty good site for known values of the coefficients of fish from: http://www.engineeringtoolbox.com/poissons-ratio-d_1224.html

  They suggested to do a factory restore, if a valid step to do.  I know this isn't the most fun thing to do, but if you restore the system failing factory (clean install of the operating system).  Then, run Windows update and update drivers.  At this point, you can install a game and test.  If the problem persists, it would look to be a possible hardware problem with the system.

• How to install all the drivers that I need for my dell inspiron 1525 when I can't get on the internet?

  I have a dell inspiron 1525 with windows xp sp 2 on it and I had to wipe and reinstall xp on it b/c I got the BSOD. Now, I can not configure a network connection, or get all the drivers that I need and I can't go on the internet. Is it possible to use another computer to get the drivers I need for this? Do you need a specific driver to even set up a network connection?

  The drivers you need are on your disk drivers that came with your computer.

  If you do not have the drivers disk, you can download the drivers from Dell drivers & downloads, then copy on a USB key or drive and install from there.
