Need help in recovery mode.

-Used in all attempts at password.

-Ipad says now "Disabled - Ipad connect to Itunes" on the lock screen.

-When hooked up to itunes that does nothing, it's just told me to enter the password on the ipad, I can't.

-L'Ipad doesn't have a wifi password stored so cannot use Icloud to delete it and start over.

-hold the "home" button when offshore and connect to PC/Itunes doesn't either.

Any ideas?

HP Pavilion DV 6108 NR, RG365UA, purchased late 2006 at best buy, with Windows XP, upgrade to Service Pack 3. It has a Fujitsu 60 GB HDD partitioned into C: and a D: Recovery.

Windows tries to start, but goes to a blue screen with the message: "Unmountable Boot Volume" for a second, then just guard recycling until I force a shutdown.

Phoenix BIOS, hard drive test result: "Fail #1-08".

I ran a program to drive on the Cdrive analysis/recovery and it seems to show the directory structure intact, and he was able to recover some files. I used the free Seagate (which only retrieves the small files). The second pass only works so well and in the third set as the program says that I should not go further, and I need to contact a professional drive recovery company.

However, drive D seems to be intact, so I wonder if the disc is damaged or just one aspect of the logical drive C is bad.

How can I get the D: to run recovery on it software? The recovery discs, made by Best Buy, just proceed to the R / F / Q option screen, and when I press R, I get a blue screen every time.
Pressing the F10 key at startup bothers me nowhere. Ditto the key F11.

I'm not a total newbie, but it's been some time that I used the recovery console.

Help?  Thanks in advance and greetings to all

    Morey

Try to be more specific with the error messages you see, so it does not guess or try things.

Here is an example of a popular error message that sounds like yours (maybe):

    STOP: c000021a {fatal system error}
    The Windows logon process ended unexpectedly with the status of 0xc0000034 (0 x 0000000 0000000 x 0).
The system has been shut down.

    What exactly tell your message?

There should be copies of XP system files backup all critical already on your hard drive in the windows\system32\dllcache folder (it is this case), you may not need any expansion.

I would like to see the exact error message, make a CD bootable Recovery Console, run chkdsk/r even if he doesn't find anything to do and then see the replacement of missing persons or suspicious files, either by copying it in the backup copies of replacement of the recovery, or from another CD Console, you can do if the Recovery Console gives you a hard time (first do the CD Recovery Console).

First of all, you need to start on something...

You can do a restore bootable XP CD as follows:

If you have no XP bootable media (or aren't sure you have) create a bootable XP Recovery CD of Console and do not forget.

This is not the same as recovery disks that may have come to a store to purchase the system.

You can make a bootable Recovery Console CD by downloading an ISO file and burn it to a CD.

The ISO bootable image file you need to download is called:

    xp_rec_con. ISO

    Download the ISO from here:

    http://www.mediafire.com/?ueyyzfymmig

Use a new CD and this simple and free program to burn your ISO file and create your bootable CD:

    http://www.ImgBurn.com/

Here are some instructions for ImgBurn:

    http://Forum.ImgBurn.com/index.php?showtopic=61

It would be a good idea to test your bootable CD on a computer running.

You may need to adjust the computer BIOS settings to use the CD-ROM drive as the first device to boot instead of the hard drive.  These adjustments are made before Windows tries to load.  If you miss it, you will need to restart the system again.

When you start on the CD, follow the instructions:

Press any key to boot from CD...

    Installing Windows... going to pronounce.

Press 'R' to enter the Recovery Console.

Select the installation that you want to access (usually 1: C:\WINDOWS)

You may be asked to enter the password (usually empty).

You should be in the folder C:\WINDOWS.  It's the same as the

C:\Windows folder that you see in Solution Explorer.

The Recovery Console allows base as file commands: copy, rename, replace, delete, chkdsk, fixboot, fixmbr, cd, etc.

For a list of the commands in the Recovery Console, type help at the command prompt.

Start by checking the integrity of your file system by using the chkdsk command.

In the command prompt window, run the chkdsk command on the drive where Windows is installed to try to fix any problems on the afflicted player.

Running chkdsk is fine, even if he finds no problem.  It won't hurt anything to run it.

Assuming your boot drive is C, run the following command:

    CHKDSK C: /r

Let chkdsk finish to correct the problems, he could find.  It may take a long time for chkdsk complete or they seem to be "stuck".  Be patient.  If the HARD drive led blinks always, chkdsk is something.  Keep an eye on the amount of the percentage to be sure that it is still making progress.  It may even seem to go back sometime.

You must run chkdsk/r again until it finds no error to correct.

Do, or do not. There is no test.

  • Windows XP-need help Urgent recovery

I'm new to Toshiba. I HAV a hard drive 60 GB partition and windows XP home installed. I want to partition the hard drive now. Now after formatting the hard drive that I lose Windows XP it completely or there at - it of the chance to recover and reinstall it. Need urgent help.

    Hello

You can reinstall your laptop using the recovery CD. It is easier and more rapid way to reinstall the operating system, all drivers and tools. Put the recovery in DVD-ROM CD, start the laptop and press the C button. At first, there is the choice between two types of installation (Standard mode and expert mode).

If you choose first a whole HARD drive will be formatted and used for installing the OS. With the second (expert mode), it is possible to install the OS on the first partition. It is also possible to define what the partition size should be.

Try it. It's very simple to do.

    Good luck

  • Satellite P200-RT2 - need help with recovery

I made a Boo-Boo and need advice/help to get things fixed.

My husband has a Satellite P200-RT2 running Win XP 32 bit (included with Vista, but had been upgraded). The battery needs to be replaced, does not load and he made the mistake to disconnect while it was closing, but had not closed completely. Laptop computer would not start even in Safe Mode.

So, I thought to try to insert a disc Win XP Pro thought, he would work to restart the computer and start again. No, he took over and completely restructured the laptop. If great, now have Win XP Pro on it, but can not load all Toshiba drivers that I downloaded from the Toshiba site.

I was not in a position to know if there is a specific order to load the drivers... have been reading and wonder if the BIOS should be the first?

Needless to say that the Toshiba recovery software went on the P200-RT2, I can't find a separate drive that supposedly it contains, there are only two listed drives, drive C and D (for DVDs).

Toshiba tells me that Microsoft sells the recovery software, MS told me that Toshiba sells. There are sites online that have the recovery disc for Vista I could buy or download, but I'm not sure on those that are reliable/safe.

Have to mention that I have a Toshiba laptop latest (L675 - 40 X, Win 7) and have the recovery disc for it.

Is it possible to use these recovery disks for Toshiba software loaded on the old P200-RT2?

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

If I could get the XPPro to work, which would leave as OS... but I don't know where to find the drivers.

    Madam/Sir,

    I have a question about a failure U940 - 11 c.

The laptop crashed after be closed during recovery of windows procedures. I think that Windows is damaged, as a result, the laptop no longer starts. When turing the laptop on the following message is displayed: reboot and select proper boot device. See the image below:

Files on the hard drive are very precious to me, so the hard drive can not be reset until I got the files. I tried to recover the boot files Ubuntu from a USB flash drive. Ubuntu began without any difficulty. The problem is that Ubuntu is not able to find the Windows hard disk. From Gparted, the following errors occurred:

    1. WARNING: / dev/sda contains the signatures of TPG, indicating that she has a GPT table. However, it doesn't have a valid fake msdos partition table, as it should. Maybe it has been altered - possibly by a program that does not include the GPT partition tables. Or maybe you deleted the table GPT and are now using a msdos partition table. It is a GPT partition table? :

    2. the GPT backup table is not at the end of the disc, as it should. This may mean another operating system to think that the drive is smaller. FIS, by moving the backup at the end (and revmoving the old backup)? :

    3. not all the space available to/dev/sdb appears to be used, van correct you the GPT to use all the space (special edition 39007920 blocks) or continue with the current configuration? :

    4. the disk is allocated:

Do you have tips or advice that could help me get the files from the hard drive. I do not understand the errors and will not be able to solve this problem. Thanks in advance.

    Hello

I suggest that you use the tool to disks in Ubuntu to mount your Windows partition.
If the partition is damaged in an aborted recovery (or other reason), you will need to invest a lot of time and effort to successfully recover your data.

You need a backup solution to ensure that you can recover your system or files on your system. EaseUS Backup is one. Macrium Reflect is another. They all have two free versions. You would need to check the characteristics of each to determine which one is best for you. I use Macrium Reflect and I love it. It allows to generate a startup failure of your hard drive version.

  • HP Mini... Need help for recovery

    Hello

I have a mini HP laptop. It runs incredibly slow and I want to wipe it clean to the factory settings. I have no system restore point.  The woman accidentally deleted after that the constant 'low space tools disk E:' kept popping up. So I went to recovery advanced and tried to do, but it asks me for the windows disk. Two issues here... I have no disc and HP Mini has no disk drive. What can I do?

    Hello

If you can still boot into Windows, hold down the Windows key and press R.  In the run box, type compmgmt.msc , and then press ENTER.  Click on management of the disks in the left pane and when loaded partitions, make a right click of the recovery Partition and mark it as 'active '.  Close all open windows and restart - if it worked, the laptop boot from the recovery Partition during the restart.

If the above fails, you should be able to order a Kit USB recovery using the link below.

If you have a problem with this link, order them directly at HP - once again, make sure they know you want the recovery Kit USB when ordering.

The same thing happened to me when I resized the partition to install Win Xp to do a dual boot 7/Xp. I couldn't recover option f8 as it was before. Here in the forum, I read a thread where the user can restore:

  • Need help with Auto mode program HX30v

Can someone (anyone!) Please explain the difference between mode Auto and auto mode program simply because of Sony?

It seems to me that the automatic program sets the exposure and shutter speed and the user has nothing to say about it. For me, this is called the Auto mode. But then, what I know about it?

I am trying to find a way to set the shutter speed (1/50) and opening (f3.2) and let the camera set the ISO. If someone can explain to me, I'd love to learn how.

    Don

And to add on, regular self does everything automatically for you, Flash, metering, address points (at least I think they have to double check), but in General, everything is determined by the camera for what he thinks is best, ISO, opening and shutter.

Automatic program allows you to set almost all except the aperture and speed.

P / A / S modes work in unison with each other. Modes allow you to edit your flash, metering, etc. The only difference comes down to the 3 parameters fundamental, ISO, opening and shutter.

P allows you to control ISO and automatically sets opening and speed.
You can control opening and automatically ISO games and shutter.
S allows you to control shutter and automatically ISO games and the opening.

But I could be wrong. Very probably, and S allow you to define also the ISO, but the other setting of 3 will be automatic.

Only series A and S of the program automatically

If you have already tried to make the Partition active recovery and it did not work, I think that you are the only option now is to order a set of replacement recovery disks by using the links in my previous post - using your recovery disks to reinstall the operating system will also reinstall the original software that came with the PC but also to recreate the recovery Partition.
