Need help make new samples of .png files

Hello

I bought some black with transparent background (png) tiled patterns and I want to make new samples out of each of them.  I'm doing everything I read and nothing works.

I use CS6.  I have one .png templates in a document .ai.  I tried to drag on the box of the swatch group, and nothing happens.  When I click on "New shade" with the .png file selected, it creates a new shade but it's only in black, there is no model.  I tried to put a line around it and selecting 'New Swatch' again; He created a new grade with the race, but he did not use my .png image, he used the last nuance in the Panel!

In addition, any input on what the size of the original .png file should be to make a shade.  Bought size is 3600 square px.  I don't know that I should probably use a different size.

I thought it was supposed to be easy in Illustrator.  I have to do something wrong.  Help, please!  Thank you!

Thanks for jumping in the tone! Your suggestion led me to the problem so I could fix.

When I went to object > template > do as you suggested, I received an error message indicating that I couldn't make a shade of a linked object.  I included the image in the document and * finally * has managed to make a shade with success.

Why it never appeared in my searches or documents Adobe, I found is beyond me, but all's well that ends well.

Thanks again for your!

    Need help with windows defender. all my files folders pictures everythiing disappeared and I find myself with this black screen and it is not all good: o)

    I don't know why vista windows no longer charge, or when the files and folders disappeared

    How Windows Defender is on this problem?

    Follow these steps to try to solve your problems of boot.

    Restore point:

    Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

    Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

    Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:
    Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.
    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.
    When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.
    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial148.html
    Link above shows what the process looks like and a manual, it load the repair options.
    NeoSmart containing the content of the Windows Vista DVD 'Recovery Centre', as we refer to him. It cannot be used to install or reinstall Windows Vista, and is just a Windows PE interface to recovering your PC. Technically, we could re-create this installation with downloadable media media freely from Microsoft (namely the Microsoft WAIK, several gigabyte download); but it is pretty darn decent of Microsoft to present Windows users who might not be able to create such a thing on their own.
    Read all the info on the website on how to create and use:
    http://NeoSmart.net/blog/2008/Windows-Vista-recovery-disc-download/
    ISO Burner:http://www.snapfiles.com/get/active-isoburner.html
    It's a very good Vista startup repair disk.
    You can do a system restart tool, system, etc it restore.
    It is NOT a disc of resettlement.
    And the 32-bit is what normally comes on a computer, unless 64-bit.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Data recovery:

    1. slave of your hard drive in another computer and read/save your data out there.

    2. put your Hard drive in a USB hard drive case, plug it into another computer and read/save from there.

    3 Alternatively, use Knoppix Live CD to recover data:

    http://www.Knopper.NET/Knoppix/index-en.html

    Download/save the file Knoppix Live CD ISO above.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    http://isorecorder.alexfeinman.com/isorecorder.htm
    Download the Vista software from the link above.
    After installing above ISO burning software, right click on the Knoppix ISO file > copy the Image to a CD.
    Knoppix is not installed on your PC; use only the resources of your PC, RAM, graphics etc.
    Change the boot order in YOUR computer/laptop to the CD/DVD Drive 1st in the boot order.
    Plug a Flash Drive/Memory Stick, BOOT with the Live CD, and you should be able to read the hard drive.
    When the desktop loads, you will see at least two drive hard icons on the desktop (one for your hard drive) and one for the USB key.
    Click on the icons of hard drive to open and to understand which drive is which.
    Click the icon for the USB drive and click on "Actions > Change the read/write mode" so you can write to disk (it is read-only by default for security reasons).
    Now to find the files you want to back up, just drag and drop them on the USB. When you're done, shut down the system and remove the USB key.
    See you soon.
  • Need help in the interpretation of a file of Trace 10053
    Hello
    I need help to interpret an event 10053 (optimizer Trace) trace file
    Everything that happens on AIX with Oracle 11.2.0.2
    It is not obvious to me why the optimizer chooses the path with the highest cost.
    But I found the following quote in the trace file, which is probably the answer, but I did not understand what circumstances allow the optimizer to say such things:
    New AP rejected: guess used for New, but not for the current best
    So, it was the short story, now the witch for a long time one quote of the trace file
    Here the query directly in the trace file. I can't modify this query, even a hint is not feasible, so I need to understand the incorrect path to avoid it.
    The bind variable you made are non-peekable, because the example you did evidence "explain plan" - which means that the optimizer uses is standard figures assumed that for "between: bind1 and: bind2 ', on the other hand, as predicates" column =: channels3 "can legally be estimated according to the density of the column.
    This means that you probably searching for the case described in a blog post that I wrote some time ago:
I still need to get my Microsoft IntelliMouse explore and Trackball bluetooth keyboard work. Currently I use a USB keyboard and a mouse, but I have the IntelliMouse CD that looks as if it would install two items. I can't make it work and I would really like to help someone who is very familiar with these items.
  • Need help with the location of the file that is customized to the title of the ADR
    ADR 2.0.9.224.01.07
    Apex 4.2.6.00.03
    We have a requirement to locate our custom, for example, files, JavaScript, CSS, Images, etc. outside the apex_images, it is-to-say/i directory. So, specifically, we don't want to locate in a subdirectory of i. When we used the Oracle HTTP Server, we could simply add a new alias in the file dads.conf for this.
    We run ADR under Apache/TomCat.
    Is there an equivalent of the APEX listener? If we wanted files customized for a directory virtual per day us how so?
  • New-need help separating the layers in psd files
    Good evening everyone,
    Could someone guide me please on how to separate the layers in a psd file? I try to remove the text (layer) of the background and have never done this before. Thank you in advance,
    GB
    Is there more than one layer shown on your layers panel?
    If there is a text layer, you can disable the lift for this layer or delete the layer.
  • I need help, adding text to the jpeg file
    I need to add a name to a jpeg file for a product that I do with the file... when I go to the text tool and enter the name, it is not displayed. I need to unlock the layer-how can I do this? I have knowledge of basic photoshop btw.  Thank you!!
    The fact that the file is a JPEG file is not the problem. Even if the background layer has been locked, a new layer is added when you add text. Select the Horizontal type tool and click on the page. Once you see the insertion point blinking cursor, type away. You can make choices in the formatting Options bar at the top. When the text looks as you want, click the check mark.
  • Oracle XE 10 g database offline have need help make comeback in 11g EE
    Our server crashed... completely crushed... own caught lightning outside. It was a material more old Server 2003, oracle 10g xe, so we replaced it with a newer better execution 2008r2 Server (64-bit, I might add).
    I need to bring the former base, storage and data files back online with the new server and the new Oracle instance.
    I have correctly installed oracle 11g EE and can create new a new database (everything is in line with that), but I need my old data back for PCM 13.1. I can't find any good documentation on this issue online, and we are down to what its corrected. Of course all data through is not going to work, so any help is very appreciated.
    I have good copies of old hard drives with folders intact structures, but there is no chance to get the old BONES without corresponding material old purchase online and just slamming the discs inside.
    Basically, how can I the new Oracle instance to open and run my old database... How to restore?
    I did it... Yay! Here's what I did... I installed a new copy of oracle 10g xe in my virtual xp mode. Stop the database after installation... removed and replaced the oradata and fast_recovery_area with my old data files. Started at the base of data and everything worked so far. In Server 2008 R2 I installed 11g xe, same password system. I then installed SQL Developer on both computers (easier for me to type scripts). In the XP mode 10g xe computer, I made a COMPLETE data pump export in a dump directory. Then I moved the dump on the new server file and ran a data pump import, add if existing data. Initially, failed... checked the newspaper and obviously I missed the fact the folder structure MUST be the same for the data files or I have to remap (too much work). The oradata default folder is different in 10g 11g. I created the oradata 11g xe folder in the same location as 10g put him and represented the import script. BAM, it worked this time... I have my data in 11g xe and my software has been able to find things as they should. Thank you for your consideration and help... hope this helps someone else down the road.
  • Need help make Mobile Site
    Hey guys, I am completely new to this idea of the mobile web and I don't know where to start. I have a normal html site that has pages with all the restaurants in our city. I want to make a simple site for mobile phones. Is there a way to put an index file with a different extension phones would pick up. For example: when searching on a browser of the computer, he would say index.html and then the research on a phone, he would tell index.xhtml or anything that should be the end. thanks for any help!
    you could remodel the site with a CSS for mobile file in your
    regular CSS file. The key question there is whether in fact Mobile
    identifies as a Mobile device. Some devices will themselves as, ID
    say, running a Cingular 8525, but the person depending on the web browser
    on the device, it can simply itself ID as a regular user.
    If your content is the database, you can always set up a subdomain of
    your site (such as mobile.domain.com) and duplicate files in the main site
    and just the regular CSS file for that subdomain just do design
    you want for mobile. You could also just give a limited set of content
    Here, too, if you don't have to replicate throughout the site.
  • ENVY of HP dv6-7204AX: need help to get the BIOS image file (ROM or BIN) for HP ENVY dv6-7204AX
    Hello everyone, I really need someone who could help me get an image file (ROM or BIN) bios for my laptop HP dv6-7204AX ENVY.
    For some reason, after that cleaning my fan cpu and everything put back toghether I had accidentally damaged the bios, because the electric sock, that's what the tech guy said :-(
    My computer is now automatically power on whenever I plug the adapter and nothing start (only caps lock led flashing continuously1time and black screen)
    Thank you
    Hello kieuminhuy... I'm sorry that you are having this problem with your ENVY dv6!
    kieuminhuy, you can go to the page of downlopad 7200 WANT dv6 to download and run the SoftPAQ BIOS proper.  You do not have to run this SoftPAQ on the failed system - it should work on any system!  When you run the SoftPAQ, chose the option to copy the image file of the BIOS to another location (see below).
    I hope this helps!
  • Need help with manual XP restore point files to copy
    Hello
    I have a Sony VAIO VGC-RB40 with XP SP3 Desktop installed.  I had a module of RAM go bad and it crashed my system.  I pulled the bad RAM and am able to boot into Windows, but there are some things corrupt as I can not drag and drop, IE does not work, some functions of the system are tangled Windows, etc..   More important still, System Restore does not in my current state, so I can't go back to a previous good restore point.  I backed up my important data, but I'm trying to restore my system back again without wiping everything and start again.  Have followed instructions to manually copy the files to restore to a previous good point point to work around this problem, I'm stuck.  An example of instructions I'm following are here: http://www.aitechsolutions.net/winxpnoboot.html
    At this point, I have all of the necessary registry hive files from a copied previous good restore point in a temp directory ready to crush the current (bad) registry files, but ran into several problems:
    (1) no XP Recovery Console - I need to start a prompt to copy the files to restore onto they're blocked if you're on Windows, but I do not have RC installed since my XP Sony came pre-installed.  All I have is a recovery disc I made which does not let me do anything except wipe my drive and re - install or fix some applications only.  So I downloaded an iso file from XP RC online and made a boot disk that works very well.  Problem is that it doesn't let me recognize my SATA Western Digital C drive:-I see only H:\Minint available through RC, which does not help me.  My understanding is that I need to have the SATA driver files available to use F6 to load these at startup RC so that it recognizes the C: drive.
    (2) so I tried to find the drivers to copy on a diskette to use F6 to install the necessary files, I need to recognize the drive within the RC, but I had no chance.  My Sony has the driver chipset Intel 915 G/P/GV v. 6.0.0.0.1014 and I went on the Sony website but the download is for an installer automatically installs the original drivers that I don't want to do.  I want just the files so I can copy them to a floppy disk.  I also looked on my hard drive and found a directory of the Intel driver then I copied all the files on a diskette in the hope that he would.  But when I tried F6, it says to a file "txtsetup.oem" that isn't there.  He may miss some INF files as well, I'm not sure.  So basically, I still can't boot from the drive RC and recognize my C: to copy the restore point files.
    (3) I also watched my BIOS to see if I can change a setting to enable the SATA drive being recognized as IDE, by some suggestions, I found online.  Problem is my BIOS settings do not seem to have any compatibility option, at least, I don't see one.  When I choose my WD200JD-98HBC0 drive in the BIOS, the 5 options are: LBA/large Mode, block Mode and PIO Mode, Mode DMA S.M.A.R.T.  The first 2 have only choices Auto / disabled.  PIO mode is Auto/0/1/2/3/4 options that I don't understand.  DMA mode has a lot of options, I do not understand.  So unless there is a setting here allows me to have my C: recognized on startup through the RC disk, I don't know?
    (4) my last idea unless someone can help me understand how to recognize my C: is if I remove the disc from my office and put in a USB enclosure and connect it to my laptop.  Then from there, peux I just manually copy these files over to the windows/system32 folder?  Which is equivalent to boot the system through RC and to do or is there something I'm missing here?  It seems the same to me, as long as I can access those bad registry files and overwrite them with 'good', isn't that do the same thing?
    Suggestions of other ways that I can restore my system would be appreciated!  If I can just do an XP repair which would also work, but still I am not sure that my Sony recovery disk allows me to do this?
    Thank you
    Shawn
    As I read, what you're asking for basically is a way to start your machine so that you can move the files on it to try to repair.  Instead of using a Recovery Console, try to create a free "Hirens Boot CD"
    Hirens Boot CD: <> http://www.hirensbootcd.org/ >
    You can start your machine of this and should be able to move the files.  I am not absolutely certain that it handles the SATA drives, but I could not find a machine yet it wouldn't start and access hard drive.  Choose "Mini Windows XP" on the first screen.  It focuses on the windows in order to run a Chkdsk on your hard disk (recommended) in addition to move the files.
    Another alternative is to boot your machine from a free Linux Live CD like Knoppix or Ubuntu.
    Knoppix <> http://www.knoppix.net/ >
    Ubuntu <> http://www.ubuntu.com/download/ubuntu/download >
    If you choose Ubuntu, don't forget that it is an installation disc and you * not * to install.  Choose the option "Try Me" instead.  One of these you will start to Linux and to recognize certainly your SATA drive.  This will allow to move the files, but will not perform a repair disk.  Be careful about editing text files as Linux uses an end of line character different than Windows.
    HTH,
    JW
  • Need help, make the missing parameters.
    Where can I get the free recovery file? I had a virus, the file has been deleted, I handled my to save my laptop but now I need to reformat my laptop. Thank you for reading this and some info gives hope that it helps me. Thank you.
    When you request support, please provide the number of name and/or product of comprehensive model of the HP computer in question. HP/Compaq made thousands of computer models which are all different. Without this information, it can be difficult, even impossible to help you solve your problem.
    Your image is in the approval process and cannot be seen by other members.
    When you first set up your computer you have been requested by HP to create your personal set of HP recovery disks. If you do not create these disks, you will need to order a set of HP or a third party provider. The "recovery" file is not available for download and must be ordered. It will most likely be a cost attached to the order of these discs.
    Please send BRAVO
