• [HELP] Problem with the restoration and recovery in the new host

  Hi, guys!
  
  I have tried for two days, but still can't make it work.
  I took a hot (online) full backup archive as well as the control file logs with the SPFILE and then copy the backup to the new host with the same directory structure and parameters. Finally, I tried to restore and recover the database on the new host, but failed during the restore process.
  
  The original host and the new host have the same subject Oracle installed until the patch level. I couldn't understand the solution to this problem based on my knowledge on Oracle DB.
  
  Could someone help me out here? Any advice would be appreciated!

  Yes, it's true. In a backup cold (assuming that the CLOSURE was not a SURRENDER but was NORMAL, TRANSACTIONAL, or IMMEDIATE) all files in the database (data files, redo log and controlfiles files) are 'compatible' - at the same point in time, to the same SCN. In a hot backup, the files are updated. RMAN is not necessarily take all the data files at the same time - for example when you have several data files, RMAN would backup the files in batches of 4 or 8 - data files are therefore controlled at different points in time. Similarly, the controlfile is saved last.

  I have a laptop HP shipped with Vista, 1 year and ongoing updated.  I have Palm Desktop and Hotsync manager installed v6.2.2 and want to remove it completely.  There is no uninstall feature in the Palm folder, when I go to the control panel configuration/programs and features and try to uninstall this simple way he refuses to remove it... I tried this 4-5 times.  I finally found my original installation disk, and no luck there.  Can someone help me with this issue please?

  Soniablanco please try to remove the following directories from users / Library/Application Support/Adobe

  • AAMUpdater
  • OOBE

  Please make sure that you are in the library folder of the user rather than the main folder of the library.  Remove these files in/Library/Application Support / Adobe / will require a reinstallation of applications to recover the files.

  AAMUpdater and OOBE records are therefore two specific users may be why you see the behavior under only the migrated user account.

  What version of Windows are you using?
  Please check this thread on the forum for Games for Windows.  It is a similar problem with the same error as yours.  Try the steps you propose to see one of them will help to solve your problem.  This is most likely a problem to produce a Games for Windows client.  Have you installed this recently too?

Instead of updating client Informatica & server paths PATH env variable, I created new PATH env variable and to establish client & server paths and saved. When I revisited this PATH Env variable, I was shocked to see the content of the PATH variable. I have to set back the old values like windows OS, DB etc paths paths. Could someone tell me how to make or do I have to reinstall the OS, DB, etc. Am on WIndows server 2003.

  I have a machine running 64-bit vista Home premium. and I have a Canon LBP-1120 printer. This printer is in good shape and I don't want to buy another printer.
  But the problem is that the only driver that there is, is for Vista 32 bit. And when I try to install, I get the error message saying that I need 64-bit drivers.
  I'll be happy even with basic print function because I do not do more printing.
  Looked everywhere on the web... good .no
  A workaround solution would help me a LOT!
