  Hi all

  I'm trying to build a cluster ON / OFF on Windows Server 2008 R2 x 64 using integrated security. The Oracle DB I install is EE 10.2.0.5.

  I have Oracle 10.2.0.4 and Patch 10.2 . 0.5 so install Oracle, it seems not to be a problem. The problem is with Failsafe.

  I downloaded the version 3.4.2 because with version 4, I can not add 10g (I can't upgrade to 11 or 12) DBs.

  I ask you, is there a good way to build infrastructure because I'm having a LOT of trouble to install everything?

  I have to install Oracle DB using local administrator because my domain account (which has Admin rights) cannot.

  I have to use my domain account to manage the Cluster because the local administrator cannot.

  I am all confused and it does not work everytime I try to add a resource to integrated security.

  So I need something like a short list to understand the correct sequence to install. Something like:

  Step 1: Install Failsafe on both nodes using Local Admin

  Step 2: install Oracle EE on both nodes using Local Admin

  Step 3: Create DB on the first node using Domain Admin

  Ok! Found the solution. And of course it was a Windows problem and not Oracle. I just had to go to "Control Panel"-> account-> user account (Yes, 2 times)-> change user account control settings and put the bar you on the left to never notify. Restart the server and here! More no popups for administrator rights!

  Yes, you can, if you have a database and ongoing running and accessible from your machine.

  Yes you need, and it will be good to have it on your machine.

  Before installing, make sure that you have min 4 GB of ram to work actively on OBIEE.

I have a cloud application that would access this server. I tried to find online if I could rent servers for a week for the test database with no luck.   Can you ping the server with the given host name?
  Try adding the hostname to lowercase instead.

  If you want to work on a CEP then please use Oracle SOA 11.1.1.6 for the integration of health care. It is not recommended to use the PS4 (11.1.1.5).
