  When you perform a factory restore of recovery media, which erases the entire disc and recreates the original scores, including the recovery partition.

  But yes, if you restore discs, you really don't need the recovery partition.

  1 disconnect the tablespace.
  2 copy the data file (or one of the df) to * .old.
  3. replace the TS online. And for fun, create a table and insert a few lines inside.
  4 disconnect the TS.
  5 copy the data file *.old what it was
  6. put the TS again and bingo online.

  I think that the verification of existing alerts log triggers an alert.

  I've upgraded to 8.1 windows however after several months I decided the format my laptop to an earlier version of windows which has windows 7.

  I would like to return to the settings of factory/how I got it on the shop however I never had any backup DVD and now have more HP support or HP recovery installed on my laptop. And considering that I deleted the recovery partition I don't know what my options are.

  2 as long as the previous installation of Windows 10 had activated Ok after upgrade from 8.1, you can simply perform a new installation of windows 10 as stated in the guide on the following link.  Note: On the activation screen, select "I don't have a product key" - Windows will activate automatically once installation is complete.

  So I have my hp ENVY 1178sa m6 about four months, its 8 64-bit Windows. So the first problem was when I was doing the recovery disks it kept stopping and telling me to put in a new drive. I got the first disk on five fact.

  Then I started getting the blue screen of death, and finally my computer would be on the start with all the tiles and frost and very quick flash as it has been frozen. It was very weird. But I would be arrested and run it and it would be nice for a while.

  So yesterday, I decided to try the disc again, they worked, I was delighted, so I thought that I would restore the computer. So I back up all my files I tried on an external hard drive and my laptop, I started to recover. During the recovery, he went to windows and installed windows 8. He told me he met errors and he said repair when it restarted it came not to say no operating system found. I was perplexed. Then I put in the disc and install the operating system. He got 6% and stopped and an error came to tell the target drive is not connected.

  You are the very welcome.

  Yes, you can do it but you must have a qualifying operating system installed on the hard drive to upgrade.

  W8 upgrade will not install on a hard drive without an operating system on it.
