New installation of Windows 7 Home Basic 64 bit on Sony VAIO per recovery Partion

Hi all

I bought sony vaio vpceh25en about 2 years with windows 7 pre basic House installled in there. But due to his slow start, I changed my Linux operating system and I still have the recovery partition, but I have no recovery disks created. I can restore factory State by default with windows 7 Home Basic WITH default drivers installed but I do not have how to restore with this recovery partion that is about 12 GB size

If you read the answers here both you told us how it's done:

Here's how it should be done:

"How to get the computer to the original factory condition using the key F10 ."

https://CA.en.KB.Sony.com/app/answers/detail/A_ID/35585/p/48903, 49902,71663,71664/c/65,67/kw/recovery%20using%20f10

BUT installation of Linux or the ultimate non-authentique could destroy the ability to access the recovery Partition.

You have to try to do.

I recently bought a Sony VAIO VPCEB27FA, who is essentially a Middle East of the EB series model. The PC is literally loaded with all sorts of versions possible assessment and bloatware and it absolutely killed any computing experience. Windows 7 starts at more than 3 minutes. Yes, I timed it actually to see how long it takes for Windows load up before you can start actually using my computer. My old gateway desktop which is in reality a P4 and has Windows 7 installed on it opens in less than 45 seconds and is good to go. So I definitely do a clean install on my laptop to clean up all the UNWANTED horrible. There is no need to separately download OEM or retail of Windows 7 RTM installation DVD ISO, as the release of Windows 7 installation can be easily converted using simply the correct product key (for example OEM_SLP product key can convert an installation of Windows 7 at retail in OEM version), as issued by the OEM product keys has a different basis of the retail product key. For ISO of DVD images, the only difference between a Windows 7 RTM retail ISO and ISO of OEM of Windows 7 RTM is in position of EI.cfg file [channel], which specifies the sales channel to retail or OEM.

    Greetings of the day...

I'm in the research for the information on how to change Window Vista Home Basic in my laptop Sony Vaio (32 bit) to Windows 7, 8.1, or 10.

    Please provide the guidelines.

    Thank you for this help.

    Hello

My personal opinion is that you buy a more recent machine as Vista Basic came on machines that have the material basis for it requirements.

Depends on hardware configuration required on later operating systems, and also find out if the manufacturer of the laptop computer is supported and provides drivers for operating systems later as to whether it is possible or feasible to upgrade or not.

There is no free upgrade Vista to 7, 8.1, or 10.

Follow these steps before you buy Windows 7.

Microsoft sells more than 7; Try Amazon.com.

Go to your computer / computer laptop manufacturer Web site and see if Windows 7 drivers are available for your make and model computer / laptop.

If this is not available, Windows 7 will not properly work for you.

Run the "Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor.

Follow these steps before buy you and upgrade (new installation) of Windows 8.1.

    Microsoft sells more than 8/8.1.

    Try Amazon.com, etc.

Check if the manufacturer of your computer/laptop has Windows 8.1 drivers available for your model.

If this is not available, Windows 8.1 not install and work properly for you.

There is a lot of information in this first link from Microsoft:

Download and run the Windows Upgrade Assistant 8.1 of to see if your machine is compatible Windows 8.1 and read the update for Windows 8.1: FAQ here

  • laptop HP pavilion g6, with Windows 7 home basic 64-bit

In 2012, I bought a pc hp laptop pavilion g6, with Windows 7 home basic 64-bit in Saudi Arabia. I found 2 months that I did after I bought it reinstall drive does not work please help me

    Hello

    Here are a few options.

    1. you can order a set of replacement of the recovery media using the link below - it will reinstall the operating system, all the drivers, and almost all of the original software (the exception being often tests of MS Office).  They will also recreate all of the original scores, including the recovery Partition.

    Order HP recovery disks.

2 you can use the following method to create your own family Windows 7 Edition installation disk basic 64-bit.

Before you try the following, make sure that you can always read the character product activation key 25 on your label Windows COA (5 blocks of 5 alphanumeric games).

An example of a COA label can be seen here.

You can create a Windows 7 installation disc yourself using another PC. However, it not there no download directly available for Windows 7 Home Basic Edition, so you'll need to download another version (one will do, but the link below is for Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit - the source is Digital River).

    Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64-bit

For the key on your label of COA to work, you must now use the method described in the following link to convert this ISO to an all-version Installer.

    http://www.SevenForums.com/tutorials/85813-Windows-7-universal-installation-disc-create.html

Once that is done, use an application like ImgBurn to burn the ISO correctly on a blank DVD - a guide on the use of ImgBurn to write an ISO on a disc is here.

Use the disk to perform the installation, enter the activation key of Windows on the label of the COA at the request and once the installation is complete, use ' 'phone Method' described in detail in the link below to activate the operating system -this made method supported by Microsoft and is popular with people who want to just have a new installation of Windows 7 without additional software load normally comes with OEM installations.

    http://www.kodyaz.com/articles/how-to-activate-Windows-7-by-phone.aspx

You may need for your laptop, software and additional pilots are in entering either the complete model number or product of your g6 series no here.

    Hello

There is no Windows Vista downloads available from Microsoft.

You can contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send you a set of recovery disks.

They should do this for a small fee.

And if you have never received a recovery disk when you bought your computer, there should be a recovery Partition on the hard drive to reinstall Vista on how you purchased your computer.

The recovery process can be started by pressing a particular combination of the key or keys at startup. (Power on / start)

    Maybe it's F10, F11, Alt + F10, etc., depending on the manufacturer.

Ask them to the proper key sequence.

And if you do not score a manufacturer of recovery on your hard drive, you should be able to make your own recovery from her disks to reinstall the operating system.

Go to programs > name of the manufacturer of your computer > then their system or recovery tools software topics for them, depending on how it is formulated.

If you can't find any reference to it, contact the manufacturer for advice on how to make these recovery disks

Some manufacturers have more available Vista recovery disks.

If this happens, you may need to try this instead:

You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.

Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.

And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs

Here's how to do a clean install of Vista using a DVD of Vista from Microsoft:

"How to do a clean install and configure with a full Version of Vista '

    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/117366-clean-install-full-version-Vista.html

And once the operating system is installed, go to your computer manufacturer's website and get the latest drivers for your particular model or laptop computer.

And phone Activation may be necessary when you use the above installation method.

  • Windows Vista Home Basic 64-bit

I'm looking for customizable configurations, and I see that you offer with 8 GB of RAM, but it takes a 64-bit system to support it. At the same time, the only option that explicitly says it's 64-bit is the Business edition of Vista, which I certainly don't need. Is it possible to specify a command with Windows Vista Home Basic 64-bit?

Yes, I know what I'm talking about and I need the power, but none of the administrative nonsense associated with the addition of the company. Wikipedia:

«Similar to Windows XP Home Edition, Home Basic targets budget conscious users not requiring advanced do not support supports for domestic use.» ... Home Basic supports one processor physical, but with multiple cores. 64-bit Home Basic supports up to 8 GB of RAM. ... Comparable to Windows XP Professional and Windows XP Edition Tablet PC, Windows Vista Business Edition targets the business market. It includes all the features of the basic home edition with the exception of Parental control and the Windows Vista Standard theme. This edition can join and participate in a Windows Server domain. It includes Internet Information Services, fax support, Rights Management Services client, Encrypting File System, image system and recovery, offline files, backup a server to single user Remote Desktop , capabilities of collaboration ad hoc P2P cliché support that allows you to access previous versions of files, Tablet PCsupport and other features of business-oriented management. Vista Business edition supports up to two physical processors. 64-bit Enterprise supports 128 GB of RAM. »

I am interested in a configuration with a high power, dual-core processor and 8 GB of RAM with the cache of 2 GB drive in addition to that, among other things, large volume, an intense audio processing. None of the additional costs related to the company are things that I need, but I need a 64 bit system to exploit the 8 GB of RAM. Frankly, I really don't want to pay $79 just for the support of RAM, I don't want to deal with it through Microsoft, and while the basic edition is apparently not a Windows 7 free upgrade, I can cross that bridge when I come to it.

    My questions:

    • If I set up a machine with > 3 GB installed memory, will there by default be configured with the 64 bit version of the edition of Windows, I chose?
    • If so, is there a cost difference? There is no difference in cost between the registered versions 32 - and 64-bit Enterprise edition.
    • If not, is it possible to make this simple change to my order? Levono is even included in Windows Vista Home Basic 64-bit?

    buzgun wrote:

Ehh. The other side to this is that, when you try to maximize the efficiency of an audio production on the fly system, a huge amount of overhead of operating system is not desirable.

If you after a clutter of OS (which is what you seem to be which means by 'efficiency'), you will need to do significant customization of the load of the installation of any  version of Windows, so it won't be fine well what version start you with.

  • Very big pointer mouse Windows 7 Home Basic 64-bit

I've had Windows 7 for about 2 weeks now and I'm just in love. An annoying problem that I ask here is that the mouse pointer suddenly becomes very big and it's really a pain because it also becomes big in games, etc... I tried to use the easy access in Control Panel by checking the box for the extra mouse pointer roughly, it becomes larger and after unchecking it becomes the mouse pointer it is 'normal' large size.
