  OPEN your contacts folder

  In the left column of the screen, you should see your CONTACTS folder. Right click on it.
  Who should bring up the menu drop down and then click on PROPERTIES.

  One of the tabs is called CUSTOMIZE. Click on this

  The first line says: "what kind of folder do you want?
  I bet you anything that he does not say CONTACTS just below that!
  Change it to CONTACTS and all your problems 'create a new contact group' are now solved...

  We must be able to store multiple records for each Contact with the same email address.

  Hi Chris,

  I am a PM to Eloqua. We are looking at ways that we can open a little more to the top of the contact table and remove the email address of contact as a unique key. Pieces of this feature are beginning to enter the place later this year. What we will do is remove the address of e-mail as a unique ID and using the system generated ID of contact. When you import, you specify which field you want to use as criteria for filtering.

  In the short term, if that makes sense, I would recommend using custom objects and linking those to the correct contact.

  Tried to add a menu toolbar or a toolbar of bookmarks. No options appear only when I click right in the toolbar area - or not to hide the toolbars.   You were probably in mode full screen, if you had the ability to hide the toolbars in the context menu.

• Cannot find preferences. Not in the toolbar, or anywhere else, I looked.

  Cannot find the Preferences/icon window via the toolbar or through other means. To change how cookies are managed for example, need to go in the preferences. Not a problem in the windows version.
