Nested installation of 5.5 on 5.1 HW errors
Has anyone managed to 5.5 on a 5.1 environment lab?
I can't after 5.5 installation, he complains that the VIB for HP vendor is, but installation is on VMware.
Primary accommodation HW is indeed HP and yes I'm host 5.5 on a virtual computer, but I can't seem to stop this msg.
I have followed all the usual 5.1 nested guides but cannot stop what is happening.

Looks like you are trying to install from the installation of HP image. You must use the standard install ESXi image, since the virtual platform is a platform for VMware, not a HP.

I also started my PC in safe mode with network enabled, such as recommended by adobe, but nothing helps! I just take the step of installation of 2% once again, with the same error.

I'm assuming that your installation 12.1.0.2 EM version of wls in error message is 10.3.5. Can you open a SR with oracle support and download folowing newspapers -

One of the possible causes of this error is a network configuration.
Take a look not hardware support
Also look at newspapers VSA Manager (link 'Export' newspapers. starting in the Manager of VSA tab).

Failure of the Installation Windows 7 Service Pack 1 x 64 error code 0 x 80073701
Hello, I tried to install on Window 7 Home Premium x 64 SP1 several times today, and all end up with failed with the same error code. (error code 0 x 80073701 - the reference cannot be found). I tried troubleshooting windows update, updated system preparation tools, disable security software, and even installing in safe mode, and all end up insufficient. I use the Offline Installer (Windows6. 1 - KB976932 - X 64 .exe) because the help of windows update, the download will not start even (in a first time, it starts, then stuck at 22 percent, and then it shows the same error code).
I hope you can help...

Firewall: Windows Firewall
Antivirus: Microsoft Security Essential 2.0
Additional security software: Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 1.50 with real-time protection (has been disabled, but even failure), Panda USB Vaccine (I think that this has nothing to do with this problem)

At 03:00 today, my computer automatically up-to-date with 8 updated reviews. The computer unused satellite, power, up to 15:00 when I got home, date on which windows was trying to 'fix', because windows could not be loaded. I did a system restore to a point before the updates were installed (02:00). Goodbye My observer of events and concluding that none of the updates have been installed correctly, I have taken note of the errors for each (most were 0x800f0816, but we've been 0 x 80242016) and went through each update individually and install. Two of these updates will not be installed. After the system restart after installing, windows attempts to load. The system automatically restarts and begins to repair windows. Windows repair indicates that the system cannot be repaired automatically. I chose a restore point from before the 'bad' updates are installed, and everything is fine.
I get the same error for the two KB2296199 of KB2436673 & failed installs: 0x800f0816.
Is it possible to fix this? Or I'm just not going to install it these updates? It is a newly built computer (last week), all the new kit stripped of equipment, new OS. I have very little installed on this system. I found no information regarding this error code or the latest MS updates online, or if anyone else has similar problems.
Any response would be appreciated. Thank you!

Of course, if you cannot start the computer, uninstall the updates would be moot & system restore (or 'last good' known) would be your only recourse.

Try to download updates from Windows using IE and Firefox... Use of IE, it describes the options for express or custom then less than a minute returns an eror:

1. physically disconnect from the Internet. Also unplug all unnecessary devices!
2. temporarily disable the automatic updates. To do this:
Start | Control Panel (switch to Classic view if not already selected). Automatic updates
Select "Turn off automatic updates" and click OK.
3. install the SP3. Restart TWICE.
4. switch to IE8. Restart TWICE. (Note: it is important to let IE at the level before the upgrade to SP3 IE6.) After you are in SP3, then you can switch IE6 to IE8).
5 install MSE.
(What happens very often is that someone has their software antivirus running as they try to install SP3, which often translates into chaos! "This is why it must be done after installing SP3 and IE).
6. make sure that firewall Windows is activated (it should already be):

(Now you can physically reconnect to the Internet. Update Antivirus program.)
7. visit Windows Update to download and install only the critical security updates. Restart each time you are prompted.

I found no relevant clues for that in the forums of NOR. A Google search led me to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/884538/en-us, offering a fix for the problem. Unfortunately, the installation of this hotfix does not solve the problem.
