  I have a few questions. At first sorry for my English, I know it's horrible; D.

  1. I want to install windows on my Hp Mini 210-3000ew netbook 8. For an application on this OS, I need to have the screen resolution 1024 x 768, while my normal screen resolution is 1024 x 600 (recommended by the manufacturer). I can go to regedit and change the 'Display1_DownScalingSupported' value to 1, so I'll be able to adjust my screen resolution of 1024 x 768, but I don't know if this operation won't spoil/break my screen/matrix. What are the chances that my screen/matrix can break down as a result of this operation? Or maybe after a certain period of time to aid higher than the recommended resolution that I will get a few dead pixels or something like that? Is - this windows 8 after changing the present resolution be ok? And can I install it with screen resolution 1024 x 600 or Setup will be out of reach of the screen?

  2. I've been looking for the drivers for windows Web site 8 for Hp Mini 210-3000ew, but I only found drivers for windows 7. They are compatible with windows 8? Or I do not need to install any drivers for my netbook with windows in all 8?

  As far as I know, Windows 7 Starter is an OEM product only and the only source is from the supplier. Microsoft doesn't have a link to download the image.

  Hello. I had my HP Mini 1000 for almost 2 years and all of a sudden, I have this problem. It lights up. However, all right. The charger works fine and the battery is new, whereas I have change every 6 months. It's just the netbook that won't turn on. It was working fine last night when my sister was too.

  What should I do? What I need to get a new battery or is my netbook really broken and I need to buy a new one?

  OK, after a few tries, the solution is now obvious!

  The pinout of the connector 4-pole Combo does not follow the AV cable (standard), where the body of the plug is on the ground

  It's more like the Canon AV Cable camcorder where the Ring2 is the Foundation and the body is the Mic (video on the Canon cable). Below specified connections to work perfectly:

• Can I use my Mini 200 for anything without recovery disk?

  I ve had 200-4200 Mini. A few months back I had a hard drive crash and another was sent by the warranty. I m abroad, so he was sent to my friend, who sent me to the Nicaragua. The drive arrived, BUT pick it up USB does not stick. (they came separately on the post, so he posted them me separately also)... 7 weeks waiting for the post...   When you request support, please provide the number of name and/or product of comprehensive model of the HP computer in question. HP/Compaq made thousands of computer models which are all different. Without this information, it can be difficult, even impossible to help you solve your problem.

  I can assume that you are referring to the computer Netbook HP Mini 200-4200ea-p/n B8H26EA , but this is only a guess, that there are about 73 models Mini 200-4200 available.

  It may be possible to download a Windows 7 ISO from Digital River, a Microsoft hosting partner and put a boot image on a USB key. Please see this HP forum thread titled "How to install Windows 7 without the disc" for instructions on the download and create a bootable Windows 7 support. The only problem I see is there doesn't seem to be a 'Windows Starter' image available. A side note... you can install any version you want, on a trial basis... you would have a full 30 days to use Windows until you enter a valid key. This will put you on for the moment.

• Need advice replaces the screen HP Mini 2102

  Hey all,.

  I'm fixing a netbook HP Mini 2102 which was abandoned on the ground. The netbook works fine, except that now the screen is a little blurry and washed on the right side. Generally, when a computer screen is upward, trying to replace the converter display card, as was the case with a machine to HP Pavilion dv9000 I fixed recently.

  However, after dismatling the computer, I found no such ups on the screen, and after consultation with an HP support assistant very useful during a session of live chat who informed me that it is not a separate inverter Board available for purchase, I have come to believe that I need to replace the entire screen.

  If I'm not mistaken, the LCD part number is 589649-001 for this particular model that I am repairing. I created this post to confirm that the ups on this Mini Board can be replaced, and I need to replace the entire LCD screen - less camera, bezel and hinge, which all work fine - in order to solve the display problem.

  If you have any other suggestions as to what part I need, or if I have to take a completely different approach to the repair, please let me know before ordering the part of LCD screen.

• How to make a USB bootable for HP Mini 1116RN?

  I have a netbook HP Mini 1000 or HP Mini 1116NR. It displays the options of f10 and f9 and that's it. I know I have to reconfigure the USB but I don't know to what or what file to put it in the USB port. What I want to do, it's the laptop restore to the factory settings. There are two options on the black screen and the first does not work it says disc error. The second it starts but it keeps loading. I don' t have the disk for setting and the laptop does not have a disk drive.

  I accidentally uninstalled the Recovery Manager HP on my HP Mini 110-3131dx from my netbook has been slow.

  Now I'm trying to reset to factory settings and I'm not able to determine how to reinstall the Recovery Manager.

  When I start in using F11 Recovery Manager, all of the options except windows is disabled restore and restore windows has only recent restore points which are useless.

  Here are the specs you computer Netbook HP Mini 110-3131dx. According to the specification, this model left the factory with Windows 7 Starter 32 bit installed. HP provides no downloads of the HP Recovery Manager, HP Recovery partiton or HP recovery media. At this point, you have several options available to you;

  Backup all your personal data before all the instructions below.

  (1) Please mark the 'Active' HP Recovery partition by selecting "Mark Partition as Active" using the Windows Disk Management Console. See HP - partitioning and names of hard drives (Windows 7) for more information on using the Windows Disk Management Console. After your computer restarts, you should be presented with the option to return the computer to a factory condition.

  (2) Please use the support of HP recovery, you created earlier to return the computer to a factory State.

  (3) If you create this media, please see Windows 7 32 b recovery USB-Kit or contact assistance from official HP through the HP portal to support all over the world, to see if the HP recovery support is available for your computer.

  (4), if you can still read the Windows product key of 25 characters on the COA Microsoft attached to your computer, you can also install Windows 7 Starter by using this key. Please see "how to install Windows 7 without the disc" to get instructions on how to download Windows 7, create the installation media and install Windows 7 using the product key 25 character of the COA Microsoft on your computer.   If you use a power adapter that charges to a higher voltage, it will probably translate into a higher level of current within the computer, that will turn warmer at the very least.
