HP Mini 210 Netbook headphone Audio Combi Socket Port

NetBook HP Mini 210 has a SINGLE taken 4-pole (PLUG) 3.5 mm headphones Audio Combo.  All the headsets have TWO 3.5 mm 3-pole (TRS) care; One for headphones and a separate for the Microphone.

OK, after a few tries, the solution is now obvious!

The pinout of the connector 4-pole Combo does not follow the AV cable (standard), where the body of the plug is on the ground

It's more like the Canon AV Cable camcorder where the Ring2 is the Foundation and the body is the Mic (video on the Canon cable). Below specified connections to work perfectly:

4 pole socket Headphone jack. MIC Jack

Trick trick (left Audio)

1 ring (right Audio)

Ring 2                                   Body                               Body

Body                                                                             Tip + Ring

Make sure that you use a 4-pole plug bodied plastic because the body is the Mic (Live) connection and could cause interference if touched

I hope this help those who meet this problem.

  • What are the upgrade options (memory, video, audio, etc) for my HP Mini 210-4022 YOU?

Are there options to upgrade for my netbook HP Mini 210-4022 YOU?

I'm hoping to hear that there is in the following categories and their corresponding limit for upgrades:

    - internal memory (currently 2 GB of DDR3 memory, as far as I know, but am sure it's 2 GB), I want that this more general if possible

    - graphics card (integrated Intel, I know it is soldered on the motherboard but maybe, just maybe? a upgrade?) Some games I can't play and having problems with simple games and apps that should not be a problem in the first place as PlantsvsZombies because the latest drivers cannot Martin play this game and other games as well and I need to uninstall the drivers of the said... Is that how it supposed to work backward rather than forward? But I hope I can improve this...

    - audio (but that's fine, I have beats just want to know)

Thanks in advance and more power for HP... My brother for your business works if all goes well I have not made a mistake in buying HP products... But so far so good, a few small bumps on the road as I call it...

  • NetBook, HP Mini 210-3000ew vs Windows 8, NEED HELP

    Hello

I have a few questions. At first sorry for my English, I know it's horrible; D.

    1. I want to install windows on my Hp Mini 210-3000ew netbook 8. For an application on this OS, I need to have the screen resolution 1024 x 768, while my normal screen resolution is 1024 x 600 (recommended by the manufacturer). I can go to regedit and change the 'Display1_DownScalingSupported' value to 1, so I'll be able to adjust my screen resolution of 1024 x 768, but I don't know if this operation won't spoil/break my screen/matrix. What are the chances that my screen/matrix can break down as a result of this operation? Or maybe after a certain period of time to aid higher than the recommended resolution that I will get a few dead pixels or something like that? Is - this windows 8 after changing the present resolution be ok? And can I install it with screen resolution 1024 x 600 or Setup will be out of reach of the screen?

    2. I've been looking for the drivers for windows Web site 8 for Hp Mini 210-3000ew, but I only found drivers for windows 7. They are compatible with windows 8? Or I do not need to install any drivers for my netbook with windows in all 8?

I am happy for any help. Thanks to advice.

As far as I know, Windows 7 Starter is an OEM product only and the only source is from the supplier. Microsoft doesn't have a link to download the image.

  • Mini 210: the mini 210

    Hi guys.

I have a HP mini 210 which I use mainly for internet when they travel, but also for playing iTunes for house music when I execute concerts. Last week the on the key sound turns power on and off remains permanently lit. If I hit him, the o/s tells me that his is switching on and outside, and yet there is no sound on the internal speakers or headphones if I plug them in. Device Manager tells me that the sound is very good, icon audio system looks very happy they control noise. You can see the icon switch between sound off (with the cross inside) and suite. Supposedly I can adjust levels. But no sound, and the orange light on this key remains resolutely. It makes me think that it is not material, but a software problem. All the latest updates are on board.

Met someone with something like that before or have an idea where to find the next?

    See you soon

  • Border in black screen HP Mini 210, screen shifted downwards - problem after power outage

HP Mini 210-1000 actually it's HP Mini 210-1060 EV PC

    Some specifications:

Display: 25.6 cm (10.1 ") diagonal WSVGA LED HP BrightView Infinity Widescreen Display (1024 x 600) SUBMISSION

Battery has been dead for a long time.

My display drivers and BIOS have been recently updated from the HP website.

After a power failure and a reboot, the screen looks weird. It was moved about an inch down with a black border at the top, on which the mouse won't and the task bar is not visible, as is the bottom of the screen.

When I go to the screen resolution in Windows by right-clicking on the desktop resolution is set at 1024 x 768, when I click on advanced settings, the monitor tab, monitor is set as a Monitor (1024 x 768 60 Hz) generic Non-PnP.

When I change to 1024 x 600 it seems blurred and stretched vertically, but the screen is always shifted down with black border on top.

    When I get the Intel graphics settings I can make the same changes as in the dialog Windows (640 x 480, 800 x 600, 1024 x 600, 1024 x 768).

In image format Options when I select full-screen (non-frontiere) the black border is fixed but always tense vertical screen but the screen is cut down with no visible taskbar.

Graphics driver reinstalled so that some Type Monitor of windows drivers, nothing changes.

When I turn on the laptop, the screen HP Quickweb appears also as a 1024 x 600 stretched vertically without black border at the top but will disable the display down.

It seems that Windows and Hp Quickweb see at 1024 x 768 60 Hz display after the power failure.

Before that, I had installed Windows updates, but nothing on the display drivers.

I only got a point system restore leave on earlier that day (very low disk space?) but that did nothing.

Guess it is a registry/driver issue since no pixel is bad and the black border on top is set in image format Options when I select full-screen (sans-bordure). Any suggestions please?

After noticing the OS startup screen/HP resolution looked normal, I just removed the plastic bottom and hit the CMOS battery, after reading this somewhere, because the audio drivers and webcam have been uninstalled too whenever I rebooted the netbook.

He has not moved even because it was recorded well.

So I restarted and the resolution has been set.

Now, can't make the webcam work even though I reinstalled the driver...

    You are the very welcome.

All XP drivers are located on the page of the driver and support for your laptop.

Before you install the audio driver, I recommend that you only install the MS UAA driver first.

    http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=321957&prodSeriesId=3688868&prodNameId=3688870&swEnvOID=1093&swLang=13&taskId=135&swItem=ob-73340-1&mode=3

    XP drivers for your laptop.

Install chipset first, then graphics driver, then the MS UAA driver and audio driver.

Restart after each of the above drivers driver installation.

If you have not installed the 2 GB of memory, you can do that too.  Who really needs help.

Your PC will need a module of memory 2 GB PC2 - 5300 and you remove the East already since there is only one slot memory of 1 GB.

Here is the link to the service manual.  Procedures of memory R & R are in Chapter 4.

  • HP mini 210-1080 NR

Can someone tell me if the HP Mini 210-1080 NR can accept additional RAM?  It comes with 1 GB of RAM and want to upgrade to 2 GB.  The specifications of the card of 2 GB sold by HP is MgHz, DDR2, PC2-6400 800.  I have a 32 bit OS (Win7).  I tried to install the 2 GB RAM card sold by PNY, but never started netbook, so I thought that maybe this netbook does not take an upgrade.  Many sites say it should, but none of you out there don't know if this is the case - and if there is a memory card with different specifications, should I use?

    Thank you, Cindy.

  • HP Mini 210 - 1010NR black screen

    Hello

I have a HP Mini 210 - 1010NR which has recently stopped working. I ran several diagnostic tests. This is a summary of what I've done and found:

First of all, I did a hard reset of the netbook (with power with no battery). There was no positive outcome. I followed this test by testing the hard drive and ram. To test the hard drive, I plugged into my office and did a disk check. The results showed that the car was functioning properly. To test the ram, I have used DDR2 ram from another netbook I and tested the operation of the broken netbook. It was still broken. Finally, I noticed the caps lock button was flashing on start up. I looked at the result of the error. It flickered once every couple secconds. This meant that it was an error of type 1 (CPU failure). How to test a CPU failure and would it be possible that it is something else the CPU or the caps lock key blinks once every second torque means that there must be a failure of the CPU.

    Thank you

Hello ems316, welcome to the Forums of HP.

Thank you to provide detailed information on the already tried troubleshooting.

Regarding Notebook and question it if it is a failure of the CPU, based what you have described with this document: computer does not start and the lights blink or the computer will beep (which can be the one you found). That would be a problem with the central unit. In line with the recommended best option would contact support to see what repair and replacement options are available.

I'm sorry for the incontinence might cause.
Thanks for posting on the HP Forums.
