Netflix does not work in Windows Media Center

original title: Center meaia Windows

I use a gateway T-1412 SP2, AMD 64. For a long time, that I was using windows media center units to watch Netflix without problem. For at least 3 years. Now when I click on the Windows Media Center Netflix all I get is INTERNET CONNECTION (there was a data recovery problem. Check that your internet connection is working and try again.) Nothing has changed over the years. Then when I click on the button that says OK I get back to the main screen shots in Windows Media Center. I hope someone can help.

Thank you

    Hi liitkjay,

There could be many causes for the issue. First of all, you can read the following article and try the steps to solve the problem:

If you're still having problems, you can uninstall the utility software and check.

  • After clean install of Windows 7, Netflix and Internet TV plugin does not work on Windows Media Center.

Original title: problem with Windows 7 Media center

Is there anyway that I can replace the whole C:\Windows\ehome? There is a permissions issue, and I can't find a way to change the permissions...

The only reason I want to do is I did a clean install of windows 7 and the plugin TV Pluzz.fr and the internet do not work on this computer and it seems to be no work around. But I have a PC where WMC works fine and I can replace the entire record of WMC and it should work like the other PC (I think).

I could do if I ran linux or something, but I'm looking for something simple or a fix to this problem with WMC.

  • Netflix no longer works in Windows Media Center

    Hello!

Recently (a week ago) my Netflix stopped working through Windows Media Center.  When I try to start the Netflix app in WMC, I just get the message 'there is a problem with the application.  Try again later. »

I reinstalled Netflix in WMC, update of Silverlight, and yet, it does not solve the problem.  However, on some other user accounts on my computer it works fine again.  I don't know what to do.

    Help?

I started having exactly the same problem a couple of days. The only thing that I did is to install Visual Studio 2010 and Silverlight 4. Since Netflix is a Silverlight application, I'm guessing this has something to do with it. Upgrade Silverlight this week?

Now I'll uninstall Netflix in Windows Media Center and Silverlight 4, and then reinstall Netflix in Windows Media Center. If this solves the problem, I'll report back.

Update : I have uninstalled both in the order above. Then I ran the Media Center and clicked on Netflix. It prompted me to reinstall the Netflix player, that I let him. As soon as it was over, I have connected and managed to go my instant queue (it wouldn't let me do it before).

Then, I tried to look at something and was motivated I need Silverlight. I let it install, knowing that Silverlight 4 is now current. However, he installed Silverlight 3.0.50106.0 . Now he can play very well, however.

Update #2: I closed Windows Media Center and went to http://www.silverlight.net. Here, I chose "Windows Runtime" in the box "Install Silverlight". This updated my system for Silverlight 4.0.50401.0 . I started Windows Media Center, choose something in my instant queue and began to watch.

So, my conclusion is that maybe it was a problem with Silverlight all along. Try to uninstall Silverlight on your system and put it back in place, starting from silverlight.net, or let the Netflix player to do it for you.

    Hello

Do you mean the command buttons from Toshiba which control the WMP function such as play, pause, stop, etc.
On some Toshiba laptops, Toshiba command buttons can be configured manually.
Please check in the control-> Toshiba Panel controls.

If you won't be successful I recommend reinstalling the Toshiba utility again

  • Webcam on Satellite A200 does not work with Windows Media Encoder

Material: TOSHIBA Satellite A200 (1GH) with built-in Chicony webcam.

    PROBLEM:

BUT: when I have Chicony software from Windows Media Encoder (preinstalled with Vista) - when I try to select the webcam as input device - and closing the error reported is "the device is not ready".

  • MS HRV-1100 remote does not work with windows7 media center

I'll put up a replacement for my old Media Center computer, using windows 7. I have an old MS Vista MCE remote HRV-1100. Apparently, the drivers are installed automatically when I plugged in the receiver, and verified by the menu devices, the most recent driver is installed. The passage of the mouse of the remote works; I can move the cursor on the screen and the function of the left/right buttons. I can use the functions of the mouse to navigate the MCE menus but none of the arrow buttons L/R/U/D, the "back" button, etc seem to work at all. I can't find anything in the configuration of the MCE to succeed, either. Is there a way to make the regular command buttons work?

    Thank you

  • MP4 does not work in Windows Media Player

I'm working on a project that has videos on built-in slides.

When I save the project as a swf or exe file, it works fine. I need as an mp4. When I try to record it in a mp4, it works on a mac computer, but not on a Windows computer. I tried on Windows 7 and Windows 8. On Windows 7, I get a message saying "Windows Media Player has stopped working". On Windows 8, the message says "element not found."

Some Captivate mp4s works; others do not. I don't understand what the difference is. Videos seem to better operate the videos embedded in the slides.

I use 6 Captivate. I create projects on Windows 7.

    Thank you

I got it work. All I had to do was resize the project to a smaller size.
