Hello:

Try the Realtek NIC driver directly from Realtek website.

Download and install the 5th on the list (Win7 and WinServer 2008 R2 Auto Installation Program (SID: 1556944)).

http://www.Realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?langid=1&PNid=14&PFID=7&level=5&Conn=4&DownTypeID=3&GETDOWN=false

You need this driver for the PCI device:

http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/WC/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=ob-83746-1&CC=US&DLC=en&LC=en&os=4062&Product=4308570&sw_lang=

Imaging device is the scanner of your Lexmark printer that need to install the driver.

Visit the lexmark website and download only the driver full features for your model and that should take care which delivers.

You should get the 3rd party hardware drivers from the hardware manufacturer's Web site, not through Microsoft Windows Update.

And Microsoft Error codes are normally 8 digits, not 9.

If your computer works well, it has/is useless to install it.

  • Code 10 NVIDIA network controller

Hi, I have a laptop HP Paviion.  I made the mistake to start a Windows security update without first checking the forums.  NVIDIA network controller immediately went to "Code 10" and has stopped working.  Not much, he disabled the audio controller and I use no sound often.  To stop the displays error code, I uninstalled the network controller and rebooted the computer.  Now the network controller does not appear in the devices set up, but the software continues to try to re - install the device.

How can I prevent Windows try reinstalling the device?  He is initially start up to run slowly (as much as seven minutes to start).  I don't want to reinstall the device as every time it reinstalls it will Code 10, and I don't not want to deal with.  I can solve the problem by using the system restore, but I don't want to run restore everytime I want to use the computer.  I already stopped automatic updates so that I won't have to worry about a bad update again.

    I use Windows 7.

    Thanks for the help.

I would like to reinstall the device, and then disable it in Device Manager... can't think of anything to prevent the annoying pop-ups.

    1. Click on the Start button and choose Control Panel.

    2. Click on system and security .

Note: If you see the display large icons or small icons in the Control Panel, you will not see this link. Just click on Device Manager and go to step 4.

    3. In the system and security window, click the Device Manager link located under the System heading.

    4. You can now use the Device Manager to disable the problematic material.

  • network controller driver will not install on pavilion dv7-6c20us

After a new installation of Windows 7 64 bit, I was passing by and install all the drivers.  I can't get WiFi to work, it says the pilot "cannot properly installed.»  The wired LAN Controller and all other drivers seem to install, very good, but not wireless.  (I've tried a few)

Also, I went into the BIOS (which I've read here to try) to disable the saving of LAN, but this option was not there for me.

OK, I got it working.  I actually found some real advice on Yahoo Answers (I know, right?)

The driver who ended the work is here: support1.toshiba-tro.de/tools/updates/realtek-wlan/realtek_wlan_win7_2000016L_20110523.zip

These are the instructions that I followed:

You first need to know what model of network card you have in your system.
If you are using the network card on the motherboard, then you need to install the drivers for your motherboard CD.

If the network adapter is a PCI card, you must:

    1. right click on MY COMPUTER then click MANAGE
    2. open the Device Manager and right click on 'Network controller' (should appear with a yellow question mark) and then click Properties.
    3. go to the tab "Détails" and you should see "Device Instance Id" and below, you should have something like this:

    PCI\VEN_10EC & DEV_8168 & SUBSYS...

The parts that interest you are the codes after "VEN_" and "DEV_".

In my case, the codes are 10EC and 8168.
Go to www.pcidatabase.com and look up the first code (vendor code).
Click on the name of the vendor and search (CTRL + F) for the device code.
There you should find the model name and number of your network adapter. You can then search for drivers.

For example: search for PROVIDER 10EC and you should find:

    Realtek Semiconductor

Click on the name of the seller and on the page that displays search 8168 and you should find:

    Chip number: RTL8168/8111
Description of the chip: Gigabit Ethernet NIC (NDIS 6.0)
Notes: DRIVER for XP PRO SERVICE PACK 2

    Hello

    Please contact Microsoft Community.

The main reason for this is that they at least have a device that is not working properly. We get generally 18 error code if there is a problem with the device driver, which is most of the time fixed by uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers.

    For reference:

Error codes in the Device Manager in Windows
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310123/en-us

Try right click on the unknown device and scan for changes on the hardware and check if this changes. Unknown devices you see is basically not plug-and-play devices. The list under the unknown is not plug-and-play device.

You can read the following article and check if it helps:

  • NB510-109 - driver missing for Ethernet and network controller

    Hi again

I replaced the HARD drive on my NB510-109 and installed W7 32-bit teacher. Windows unfortunately has no Driver for my network controller and Ethernet. The seller of Ethernet is 1969 (Atheros), but the driver I found does not work.

The seller of network controller is 10EC (Realtek or Acer) but I can't find a driver.

Is there a link where I can load the original driver CD/DVD?

PS: I could not save the original data of my old HDD for HARD drive has not finished.

Are you looking for driver LAN or WLan driver?
I m asking because the network controller could mean the WLan or LAn card.

However, the laptop supports the Atheros LAN card and you must install the Atheros LAN driver.
The WLan card is made but Realtek. Its 802.11bgn RTL8188CE card Wlan.

On the page of the Toshiba UE driver you can find two drivers Atheros LAN to Win 7 32 bit:
    v 2.0.9.9
    v 2.0.11.12

I recommend you to check them both.

Realtek WLan driver can be downloaded from Toshiba WLan Portal:
