Network - E3000 drive

I recently installed a new router, E3000, and I cannot map attached thumb drive.  I can connect through the router to the internet very well and I had used Cisco connect to access the storage menu to create the share.  Then, when I try to map the drive as detailed in article 21517, I received a drive letter and put the address of the file, and a small window titled Security window with the following information:

Enter the password to connect to 192.168.1.1

User name:

Password:

Domaiin: [with the name of the computer that I use]

So the question is what username/password combo should I enter here?  I tried the user router admin & password, the WPA passphrase and SSID, the computer admin and password name and the Homwgroup and password.  None of these work.  This shouldn't be too difficult.  Am I missing something?

Thanks in advance, BDT

Well, what is the format of file do you use?

In addition, if you have not formatted the drive using the router utility then you face the back of the HD and then format the drive in NTFS or FAT.

When you have connected the drive to E3000 make sure that it is not set to write Protected setup and you have enough permission on the disk. When you map the drive the drive on your computer, when he asks the credentials connection use 'admin' as the username and password and then map the drive on your computer and then check if you are able to open the files on your computer or not.
