Unable to connect to a network printer, error 0x0000000e
I have 10 NEW computers, dell 6 and 4 Lenovo, all currently running Windows 7 Pro SP1. None of them can connect to printers network that are put in place and a lot of work for everyone in the building. I have all the drivers loaded on the print server (also Windows 7 Pro SP1) and network printers have all the correct permissions and sharing settings. MS difficulty it will not fix anything because there is NO PRINTER INSTALLED! When I try to connect to the printer's takes 20 min to tell me that 'impossible to connect to the printer' with the error "0x0000000e". I tried to go to the IP address and the settings of the printer are there and accessible, but it will not connect to the printer. My print spooler is running... I took the property records C:\Windows\system32\spool and all folders/files inside. Also, I copied the mscms.dll file in the C:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers\x64\3 directory. These computers are NEW! Printers are a mixture of HP, Epson, and Kyocera printers, the problem is with the 10 new computers not my network or printers. I have 140 (55 of their Windows 7 Pro SP1) computers that do not have this problem. I have the drivers FRO my printers... But these are NETWORK printers... If I install the drivers for these printers, the new client tries to become the print server and then causes WORLD EVERYTHING to lose the ability to connect to this printer.
Why is there no solution to this problem? I tried ALL of the solutions you have on this issue and none of them works. Windows 7 Pro seems to be incomplete or defective. If there is not a solution to this problem, so I need to know where at Microsoft to send the Bill for my time to solve YOUR problem. This problem is costing me time and money! My company should not pay to solve your problems with your software!
* Dell and Lenovo tech support both told me that it is a matter of MICROSOFT and advised me to contact Microsoft. When I did, the first tech told me that he had no idea how to fix this and gave me a higher number of support on the tech of lever. The second Microsoft technology wanted to pay me $400 able to talk to me on this subject...

Install HP Photosmart B210 fails (network) - "Printer Installation Failed" error messages
Hi - I have a HP Pavilion Elite HPE on a home network with a wireless HP Photosmart B210 printer/scanner. This configuration has worked for > 1.5 years, then about 2 weeks ago, I could not print from any application. Win7 would post "cannot communicate with the printer. Here's what I did:
(1) uninstalled - reinstalled driver SW repeatedly - however, Win7 messages "Failed installation of the printer" at the end of the installation.
(2) the HP print and scan doctor finds the printer wireless-, but can find no defects or problems. All green checkmarks
(3) I copied/pasted the address of Web page in IE - in the Home tab's built-in Web server it States "system error - network connection error.
(4) scanning works fine wirelessly and if I connect the printer via a USB cable - I can print.
(5) I have a Lenovo and Ipad desktop computer on my network that impressions wireless - so, seems, the issue is with the Elite HPE only and not the router.
(6) if I'm in Excel and select search for printer - I get the error "domain services active directory are currently unavailable.
(7) I checked the printer spooler and it is started and set to automatic.
I want to keep the ability to print wireless, however, if I can't solve this problem, I have to constantly connect via a USB port. Any suggestions on what is wrong? Thank you, Rob
Hi Erico,
Thanks for the reply. I ran the "sfc/scannow" command from the line CMD (run as administrator) - completed without finding any breach of integrity. I reinstalled SW from HP (PSB210_Basic_x64_231.exe) and installed without problem. I was able to print a test page and a spreadsheet excel via the wireless network.
It seems that this problem is solved. Thank you for your help.
Kind regards
Bob has.

Error when trying to print to a pdf and network printer
Hi all
When you try to print a report to my network printer or pdf format, I get committed two errors, one right after the other. The PDF or printed has almost everything, with the exception of three tables which is totally absent. When I'll be back in the report and open the page with the missing table, the table is no longer visible in the report and I get the second error once again. Tiara of exit and restart back tables.
I found several threads on pdf and other printing errors and tried solutions without success. specifically the one posted here.
I hope there is a solution to this! These reports are intended to sell management on tiara! Thank you!

I created, deleted and created again, a printer in network in Server 2008 Standard. I shared out and I am able to see the printer in the list when you add a network printer using a XP 32 bit workstation. When I try to add the printer from a workstation, I get the following error.
"Unable to connect to the printer. the name of the printer has been correctly entered, or the specified printer has lost the connection to the server.
I ping the IP so I know it's good. Part of my troubleshooting was to open Printers and faxes, open the file menu, click Server properties, click the tab drivers to remove the 1815dn printer driver that existed. Then, I rebooted the PC and tried to add to the printer queue new but still the same error.
I am also able to send a test print from the server to the printer.
I also opened the properties of the printer on the server and selected Advanced tab drivers and ensured that x 86 has been selected. Any suggestions?

Network installation error 0x0000000d printer?
I have a Canon Pixma MX860 installed on a desktop computer running Windows XP Pro. I'm trying to add the printer to my laptop running Vista. He finds the network printer, but I get an error 0x0000000d during installation. Microsoft's proposed solution is to modify the registry, which is beyond the capabilities of the computer. Any practical advice?
Found an answer here what has worked for me http://members.shaw.ca/bsanders/NetPrinterNoPP.htm.

I have a new all-in-one Canon Pixma MG5320. I am unable to get the installer to finish with on "setting up the network printer down." Despite numerous attempts to:
(1) download the driver on the internet instead of the installation CD.2) with the help of msconfig with selective startup and disabled all programs except Microsoft.(3) creates the new administrator account and returned through it all.(4) turned off firewall and anti-virusThe error is compatible and I never have the unit set up under devices and printers. The installation is carried out without any errors marked and you will see the error if you get into the details of setting up and get him. The computer sees the printer when it finds and he answers. The printer and the router, both seem to be communicating correctly. Repair auto and troubleshooting programs I ran as fix - it do not detect errors. The printer works fine through a USB cable. I don't want to continue to use USB because that's why I wanted to go wireless. I'm sure that I forget some of the things I went through in my attempts to get this working. Anyone with any ideas or know what's going on please help.Tech of Cannon was very knowledgeable and says he sees this once a month. He believes that some program interferes with the installation process. I do thanks in advance. Nice day.Hi Gary,.

Add an HP network printer and receive error 0x000005b3
Hi all
a user has a windows 7 Enterprise and this machine is joined to a domain. I tried to add a universal printing PS (v5.2) HP printer which is a network printer and it gives me error 0x000005b3.What I've done so far?
-Removal of all existing printers
-Install the driver manually.
-tried to add this printer to the title of local administrator rights.
-tried the administrator account.
-Windows is up to date and there are no missing drivers.
D ' other people use this printer without problem. This user is having only one problem.
-This user is able to add / print on other printers with no pain! The weird part is when Windows tries to add the network printer. so it means printer is known for windows and OS trying to get the driver for Windows 2008 R2 Print Server. The wizard detects the printer and starts to download the printer driver. Then he said: "Windows cannot connect to the printer."
Once again:
PCs: Dell 980
OS: Windows 7 Enterprise
Printer: printing universal hp PS (version 5.2)
Server: Windows 2008 R2All comment or suggestion appropriates it.
Hello Almirzaee,
