  I work on a Mac under OS X Yosemite (10.10.4) and Dreamweaver CC 2015. I followed all the items available on how to implement a new startup as well as verified document for issues known in Dreamweaver and looked through the Dreamweaver forum.

  I need some advice regarding the creation of a new Bootstrap document in Dreamweaver CC 2015. I followed using Dreamweaver's article "Working with the Bootstrap Files" (https://helpx.adobe.com/dreamweaver/using/bootstrap.html). I followed the instructions precisely to create a new Bootstrap document without any pre-built model extra. I used the "create a new" option in the Startup dialog box tab new document, does not make use an available pre-built, made a minor change to the width in pixels of the screen of medium size under the Customize menu and click on the create"" button. Dreamweaver then prompted me to save the associated CSS file that I saved as "styles.css" in the "css" folder file root of my newly defined site. Dreamweaver has not created a new CSS file called 'styles.css' in the location I've just specified, has not added any dependent Bootstrap files in the folder root of the site except "bootstrap.css" (added in the "css" folder) and left me confused as to how to get started with this feature. Please let know us if there are additional configuration steps or things to watch during the creation of a new "bootstrap" page/site. It's frustrating because I'm eager to try this new potentially important feature. I thank you in advance for any help, you can give me.

  Thanks for your comments. Everything you said is true, but it does not directly concern the question I had.

  It was a conflict more profound by which I had a wrong folder in my hard drive that had the same name as the hard drive itself. This prevents any local dependent files open in Dreamweaver: https://forums.adobe.com/message/5633342#5633342#5633342 I assume that the file was somehow created when I updated my OS before installing the latest version of Dreamweaver.

  In addition, this can cause problems when you set up a new boot environment and have prevented the necessary being created dependent files as I said originally. The files are added to your local disk with a status of 'read only' applied to the primary Bootstrap CSS file to prevent replacement.

  Eh, it's actually easier than that and I don't know why I never noticed it before, I guess I thought it would be harder than that...

  Hitting just file > save in Firefox saves the page and all images used in it to any folder you want and rebuilt everything for these copied files.

  So, really, the answer to the original post would be just hitting Preview in the browser in DW to make appear the FF, then save to in FF. This creates a page_files file that records all images used on the page and rebuild sources in the HTML for local files. Who would imitate the package option in InDesign by giving you the page and any images used in a single folder.

  No idea how robust it is, if it has problems with the image in .js or something like that, but if you have a right-hand page html with images of 30-80, it records all the way to the new folder and rebuild the sources in the saved page to them.

  Documents may have multiple streams of text. Each stream has a tag and an automatic connection property. When filling a stream on a page, a new page is created only if the automatic connection is enabled.

  To display these properties:

  1. CTRL-click the text frame to select it
  2. Choose the Graphics properties object
  3. If the text frame tab is not already displayed, display it.

  I would check not only your pages of body, but also on the associated master pages.

Once you clicked the ToolTips to exactly find their meaning, they will disappear and will not reopen (until at least that you reset it to see again them). But why you want to turn them off? They block you somehow?

  When I create a new page in the Web site or edit an old one, often I get the following error when you try to view the new online page (note that it doesn't have to all edited pages, blurring further the possible cause). Someone else in the office, using a FTP program may access a file "permissions" and change a lot of checkmarks and possibly page messages correctly. I can't find the place in Dreamweaver to change these settings. Help, please! It's driving me crazy. (Note that if this page works now, the answer to this question, the measures taken have managed to solve the problem. )

  I discovered the "permissions" setting in Dreamweaver!

  1. switch to the remote server view and refresh to get the latest view of all files and folders on the remote server.

  2. click right on the file in question and down the "permissions" setting.

  3. change those as necessary.

  "Authorities" do not appear in the context menu when you are in the Local view, which is how I usually have it set up.

  Note that your child page contains model NO markup at all.  This means that when you created it, you should not do check the box called "update page when the template is changed" (on the right side of the new Document dialog box).  Could this be it?

In the following discussion, a user named Kreklo suggests activating/deactivating the feature Documents & data in the iCloud settings.   Hi, 41 of Firefox, you must use the add-on tab override (browser.newtab.url replacement), to make changes to the page tab.

  Once installed, open the Add-ons (Ctrl + Shift + A) Manager > Extensions, and then look for the new tab override and click Options to set your preference.

  Notice, if you want only the new tab to be the same as your home page, you can use the Add on new tab homepage instead.

  You will then need to restart Firefox for all changes to take effect.
