  I want to create a calculated column with the following formula:
  
  Sales/Sum (Sales) * 100
  
  I got an error saying:
  ERRORS:
  [14041] error in the measure for the test of the column definition. Nested aggregate measure definitions are not currently supported.

  In fact, you must create two columns in the business model.

  First, create a column of the measure based on the level for the denominator. It must be a measure of the year-level.

  Then, create the measure part as a separate column. Select 'Sales' in your business model, right click and select "Wizard of calculation" in the context menu. You can create an action that compares the year-level measurement.

  To do this, I used the PivotTable and used a new calculated item for calculating the % value right but I'm not able to add the percent sign after the value.
  Can u please help me add the % sign in the value of the result.

  IM creating column calculation in MDB something like this, {CASE WHEN SUBSTRING (DEPT of 2 for 1) = 'Y' THEN END of ANOTHER SALARY 0}. And in response using the same column to display in the report, it does correctly. When I tried to put in the Grand Total I don't see the correct totals on the report.
  Can someone help me on this please.

  How did you define this measure? Did you do in the general tab (' logical use existing columns as source ")? If so, try to specify it instead on the Data Type tab.

  (1) uncheck "use logic existing columns...". »
  2) click the Data Type tab
  3) double-click your physical source
  (4) in the new box, make sure "Display unmapped columns" is checked
  5) click on the button next to your new column name
  (6) specify your formula here
  7) click OK until you return to the window of Data Type
  8) click the aggregation
  (9) set the SUM aggregation
  (10) save RPD and recheck your report.

  I am relatively new to this looking for some tips/advice.

  Is it possible to include a calculated column in a financial statement?  For example, I have three columns A, B and C.  In column C, I want to show him the calculation of column A minus column B?  Is it still possible?

  If I understand correctly, you want to always 4 models. If so a 2D table will do the trick (see annex VI), otherwise crossrulz' solution should work.

  In a report, I used the source area to create a query that uses / creates calculated columns.

  Yes - the alias is not available as of the SELECTION list. You will have to redo the calc, i.e.:

  SELECT id, name, amount, percentage,
         amount * percentage AS CalCost,
         amount - (amount * percentage) AS Difference
  FROM   store
  WHERE  id = 3;
  

  Alternatively, you can rewrite it as follows, where the alias expected to be available, but I see no reason to:

  SELECT id, name, amount, percentage, CalCost
         amount - CalCost AS Difference
  FROM   (SELECT id, name, amount, percentage,
                 amount * percentage AS CalCost,
                 amount - (amount * percentage) AS Difference,

  GL_TRANSFER_RUN_ID is a column present in the table of 11i AP AP_AE_HEADERS_ALL.
  
  In R12 the equivalent table is XLA_AE_HEADERS. Can you please let me know if there is an equivalent column for the 11i GL_TRANSFER_RUN_ID column in tables of R12?

  xla_ae_headers.accounting_batch_id is for creating accountants.
  Think of xla_ae_headers.group_id to transfer the GL. Other columns to consider for transfer of GL are gl_transfer_status_code and gl_transfer_date

• Cannot change the column in Table

  Well I have a table called T1 where I have some columns with 70 000 lines in this table.
  now I need to change a size of datatype of columns of 5.2 to 5.4, with the command below.
  
  SQL > alter table t1 modify column_name1 number (5.4);
  
  When I run this command I get the below error
  
  ORA-01440: column to change must be empty to reduce the precision or scale
  
  So what I did is based on the table in another table t2 and now deleted all t1 lines.
  Once again, I have changed now the column modified successfully to (5.4)
  But even once when I insert the backup to the top of table t2 in t1 I received this error below.
  
  ORA-01438: value larger than the precision specified for the column
  
  
  the table t1 column_name1 number (5.2)
  changed as column_name1 number (5.4)
  
  now why can't I could insert the values inside by a backup table?
