• FSX reinstall on new computer - old computer destroyed

  Original Windows 7 computer destroyed.  FSX saved on old-fashioned hard drive of this computer. Unable to reinstall it on the new computer with Windows 7 and using old disk hard game.  Don't want to lose the saved FSX files.

  I got an old compaq presario 5140 or something and it came with vista on a hard drive of preset. I recently built a new computer with parts and essentially have a new computer. I decided since my old hard drive worked well and was compatible SATA, I want to just install it in the new computer, too.  Now, windows tells me to restart my activation key is not valid, and I need to get a new (I him I had preinstalled about 7 years I have therefore had no idea here), buy a new key or visit support.
  So I ask here what I have to do. I need my computer today for a job if I got quick responses would be greatly appreciated!

  You cannot transfer a preinstalled license.

  OEM and retail licenses:

  If your computer is pre-installed with Vista, it is classified as an OEM license and is not transferable.

  If a license of Vista at retail, you can transfer it to another computer/laptop.

• With the help of Windows Easy Transfer - need to transfer the old HARD drive to new computer - old HDD attached as external drive for the new usb port of the computer - help

  New computer installed Windows 7 and gave me an option to use Windows easy transfer to transfer files, data, programs, etc. from my old computer.  All I have from the old computer's hard drive; a lightning strike fried either food or his mother by car.  I have attached the hard as a disk to the new computer using the usb cable provided with the external hard drive case.  It is recognized as drive E: on the new computer.

  Trying to follow the instructions given by the Windows Easy Transfer software.  Get the software/folder from the old hard drive (drive E), but trying to run the software that I can't seem to do anything on the old disk.  When asked what is the former or the new computer - I respond to old, but no new file is created for the transfer.  When I answer again, a new file is created on the new computer (rather than the old HDD) and then he transferred again to new.  I can't create a file of whatever it is I want to transfer from the old HDD.

  I can't use an easy transfer cable because the old computer does not only the hard drive.  I can't connect to a network for the same reason.  I only have the hard that I can attach to the new computer.  But I can't get the new computer to process the old hard drive separately for transfer purposes.  The only other option I can think of is to attach the old HDD to another computer, and then try to run the software in this way, but I don't want just the stuff on the old hard drive a copy to the other computer.

  Can anyone help?  Suggest how to get the old hard drive files, data, transferred etc. to the new computer.  What are the steps?

  Do yourself a favor, with the old drive connected externally, in the browser, simply copy the data files to the location of Documents of the PC win7. You can not copy programs, they need to be reinstalled from media origonal. You can copy all the downloaded files instalation

  I got a new computer because my only old is dying, so I installed my old Photoshop elements 14.  He asked for my serial number, I entered the DVD cover.  Photoshop says its incorrect serial number.  But I checked that I typed this is quite accurate.  What is going on?

• Laptop Extended CS6 on the new computer installation problem

  I hope someone can help me understand how to install CS6 on a new computer. I remember that I first bought CS5 (with a CD), then passed to the CS6 in July 2014, a download, then download and install CS6 extended in February 2015. I don't remember if Extended CS6 was an upgrade ($399?).
  

  I have disabled the older CS5 and CS6 on the laptop, went to my Adobe account > orders, downloaded and installed Extended CS6 and glued in the serial number.   I think I need to first install CS5 from the CD, and then upgrade to Extended CS6. However, when I try to run the CD on the new laptop (a Dell 7710, running Windows 7 Pro) I get a message that the Installer failed to initialize. If I try to run the CD on the old laptop (a Dell XPS 16, also running Windows 7 Pro), Setup initializes. So, apparently, the issue is specific to the machine. Anyone has an idea as to how I could get the CD to work on the new machine?

  You need not install CS5. Simply enter the serial number when he asks the CS6 Installer.

  Several years ago, I bought a laptop with Vista 32 bit OEM.  Sometimes the in ' 08 the laptop broke and I would like to use ot that copy of Vista for a new desktop computer I own now.  I need to be 64-bit, however.  Is the license vista 32-bit to 64-bit transferable and I am allowed to install on my new machine since I use only use one license per machine?  I never changed any material in this laptop and have not used the license for any other machine since the.  What would be involved in the use of this license for installing vista 64 bit on my new desktop PC and would it be legal to do?

  both have 4 GB of ram, both are running windows 7 64-bit (dv7 runs g7 professional courses Home premium)

  G7 Pavilion has a rating of 4.6 for windows experience index

  I believe that the dv7 has been formatted by the owners of the store in order to correct any problems, he showed before.

  It is possible for an individual computer to have abnormal results due to a problem of material or another, but it is impossible to judge according to the information provided here.

  I still don't know the specifications for your particular G7.  I've looked at HP specs for the G7 a dozen variants, and none of them had a 2.3 Ghz processor. So as far as I know, scores you get may be exactly what would wait for material to each machine.

  For example, if I look at the Passmark score cards by comparing the graphic Mobility Radeon HD 4250 to the D7, which marks only 98, it is 30-40% slower than the Intel HD graphics adapter that comes in most of the models of the G7 (note 130). Specific details of importance here.

  The same way if I compare the score D7s Phenom II N660 Passmark of 1851 with a processor Intel Pentium p6200 a G7 clocked at 2.13 Ghz (1342), or an AMD A4 - 3300M (1236), the D7 should be considerably faster. OTOH if the G7 had a Core i3-M350 performer @2.27 Ghz, then despite the execution more slow 700 Mhz of the G7 still has the CPU slightly higher score of the two with a pass mark of 1911.
